Chapter 1: Abduction

15th of May, 2022

I was lying on my bed by the window, looking at the serene beauty of my garden. I was embraced by the calls of Koels, which were music to my ears. My villagers believe that it's an indication that the monsoon will arrive.

While I was engrossed in the pleasant atmosphere, it suddenly became gloomy with the sunshine fleeing away.

"Maa.. looks like it's going to rain", I shouted out to my mom, as I rushed out to grab the clothes that were set out to dry.

As I was rushing to grab the clothes, I subconsciously looked at the sky. The clothes in my hand slipped to the ground, as I kept staring in shock and terror.

The entire sky was covered by a giant flying object, dark grey in color, and looked like it was many miles above us. The entire village was out of their homes, as they kept staring at the huge object that was blocking the sky.

No one knew what it was. Everyone was as bewildered as I was. I had a premonition that it's not safe to stay out. I quickly turned around and shouted at my mom while grabbing her hand. "Maa, let's go in! I'm scared that something bad is about to happen!"

Just when I was rushing in with my mom, I felt a sense of weightlessness. I looked at the ground and was dumbfounded when I noticed I was floating. It wasn't just me, but everyone around us was floating in the air, slowly moving towards the sky.

All I could hear was a loud buzz ringing in my ear, like some kind of magnetic hum. I could see that everyone was screaming in dread and horror, but all I could hear was the buzz.

I lifted my head with my mouth wide open. I saw a large area of the flying object has started turning red. I quickly embraced my mom as a beam of light hit us and all I could see was...
