Boss has lost it

"Did I just say she looks so beautiful?" Am I dreaming or what? And am even holding her waist? Oh! Dammit, am surrounded by devils who desire to tempt me but never. I said to myself and freed Mira making her fall to the floor.

"Are you crazy or what?" Mira cursed out.

"There we go again. I just saved you from falling and breaking your bones and here you are cursing me."

"No am not cursing you and I won't be cursing you if you didn't make me fall on purpose.", Mira said ranting making Alex walk out of the closet holding a vintage green shirt.

"What! he still didn't wear his shirt," Nana said while seating in the bed. Why does he like walking around naked and why does she like following him around?

"Wait! I said wait!" Nana said running towards Alex and stopping him from proceeding. You better wear your shirt and help me look for my mom or else I'll disturb the peace of everyone in this house.

"Yes! Yes! I'll look for your Mom but please let me rest and don't frustrate me. You both are so annoying." I said wearing my shirt.

"It's you who is annoying. After promising to accept me, you still stay away from me why?" Mira asked.

"Because I don't love you now leave my house," I said to her.

"How could you say that to me? You know how much I love you right."

"I don't love you now leave."

"I'll leave not only your house but your life and I call off this alliance, enough is enough." Mira said and burst into tears as she ran out of the room."

"What! How could you make a lady cry like that? It's not cool you know." Nana said.

"You know what! Just stop talking and irritating me and let's go find your Mom."

"Yeah... Let's go! Let's go." Nana said happily running out of the room.

"What the hell have I gotten myself into?"

DOWNSTAIRS

Mira ran down the stairs crying.

"Mira! Mira!" Mrs Smith called out making Mira stop.

"What the hell has the idiot gone and done," Biggie said in a whisper.

"What's wrong Mira?" Mrs. Hampton asked.

"Mom I don't want to marry Alex anymore and I also don't want anything to do with him please," Mira said and ran out even before Mrs Hampton could respond.

"Alex! Alex! Alex!" Mrs. Hampton called out.

"What's wrong Mom?"

"What the hell is wrong with you? Why did she call off the wedding!" Mrs. Hampton questioned.

"Mom that has got nothing to do with me. She said she was no longer interested and you don't expect me to start begging her." Alex said and walked out leaving everyone stunned at his behaviour.

"Mom, can I ask you a question?"

"Yes Biggie, what's that."

"Was his dad as grumpy as him or you were once grumpy..." Biggie said sheepishly scratching his neck.

"I..... You know what? Ask that to Mr. Hampton once he's home."

"I would have to wait for thirty-five days for my questions to be answered."

"I don't care!" Mrs. Hampton said going upstairs.

"Oh! Now am all alone on my own."

"Then get yourself a wife." Mrs. Hampton said.

"Oh! Thought you were already in your room."

"Why do you always have to be so rude to people?" Nana questioned Alex but got no response.

"Drive faster, I have a meeting in the next hour," Alex said to the driver who looked suspicious of him.

"Wait! Does this mean that we are going to your office? I thought we were going to look for my Mom." Nana continued and kept mute when she got no response from Alex.

Nana poked Alex on the shoulder repeatedly trying to get his attention. "Why aren't you responding to me," Nana said but Alex didn't reply and her face lit up like she had an idea.

"I'll try making him laugh. That works a lot on my Dad." Nana stood up and ruffled Alex's hair smiling and giggling.

"Oh! Goodness. I can't take this anymore." I can't believe this girl is frustrating me. I just shouldn't have made her that promise. Nana just keep quiet or else I'll go back to that house and lock you up there. I said to her but she didn't even bulge. She looked at me challengingly and there I knew it was coming, her annoying little voice.

"How dare you threaten me? Look if you decide to scare me using my house against me then it won't work. Am not scared of the house but rather, am scared of not seeing my Mom one more time. I want to see her."

"But why? Why do you want to see her? You are dead right then go and rest and stop frustrating me. Oh! It's my fault I let you out of that house, I should have left you there, hate the fact that I made that promise to you." I said to her but she just stared at me." Am surprised that she kept quiet I didn't think she was going to keep quiet.

"Sir, is everything alright? Who are you talking to? Should I stop somewhere so I can excuse you or what?" The driver said but I ignored him until I heard her sobbing.

"Now what's wrong? Why are you crying? Just stop crying and compose yourself" I said to Nana but it didn't seem like she listened to me but rather cried louder making Alex cover his ear in irritation.

"I think my boss has gone crazy." The driver said.

"You are the crazy one here! She is crazy! Mira is crazy! All of you are crazy. You are so frustrating and annoying, why can't you all just be quiet for once? I want silence, silence is all I want so you both should keep shut."

"You both? Oh! Boss has finally lost it." I heard my driver say in his mind.
