"Who told him to come with us?" Arden muttered, curtly.
"You're free to protest. You heard yourself, Mrs. Fonard told the three of us to go," said Ethan.
"Couldn't you two get along for just one minute?"
"No."
Arden and Ethan's compact answers made Runa, who was sitting in the back seat, smile a little.
They are on their way to a factory on the outskirts of town that has a concept that fits the scientific work they are working on.
Since Ethan has a car, they decide to drive together.
Well, actually, it was not the decision of the three of them. Ethan offered, and Runa agreed. Arden refuses, but he doesn't want to let Runa be in the same car as Ethan.
"After finishing our research today, how about we have lunch together?" Runa suggested an idea, which Arden rejected outright.
"Lunch together just for you and me. Just the two of us."
