Myra got down from the taxi with a sigh, walking up the steps to her apartment. Amal was sitting on the steps with her earpiece plugged in her ears.
"Myra, love!" Amal shrieked, getting up to embrace her.
"I missed you so much!" She squealed as soon as they got in.
"Me too," Myra sighed, flopping on the sofa.
Amal sat beside her with a frown. "Baby, why do you look so down?"
"I'm fine, just a bit tired from work." Myra picked up the remote to turn the TV on. "I just need something to distract me from my worries."
Flipping through the channels, she sighed again when nothing was interesting on the TV, she stood up heading to her room.
"What's wrong?" Amal followed behind her.
Myra flopped on the bed, removing her heels. "I'm hungry and tired."
"Alright. I'll prepare some dinner."
Amal pulled Myra up to the kitchen. "I'm not gonna have you sulk in the room while I prepare the food."
