Chapter 20

A small smile slips upon her lips as she turns around heavily breathing from the loss of blood and coursing pain flowing down from her right shoulder to her left hip, she rushes off into the night to reunite with the group she had previously left. Blood seeping out from the long slash across her back. As she leaps from roof to roof trying to reach her team once again, nearing the dark maroon suit, a tall gentleman appears so out of place in the dark escape of the night. His glinting silver hair flowing down his back, such an unusual look for anyone in the area but quite a beautiful one at that, the mysterious aura of the most likely foreign man drew her near, calling her body to leap down from the dark roof she chooses to peer from, allowing her to be as vulnerable as the day she cried. With the insecurities bubbling up she takes one last glance at the white-haired man to find him staring right into her eyes, allowing him to see how broken she truly was behind her strong upheld mask of liars. As the illuminating glow of the moon glints across his odd lime coloured eyes a small smile grows upon his lips, not a kind smile but one that entitles the wicked and cruel nature that he covered with an almighty facade. With that eye entrancing smile, she rips her attention from the abnormal man standing in the middle of the street and continues her journey back to where she was only moments before.
