Chapter 13, The Freezer

So here we are again~ ready for another chapter! I hope you all enjoy it I'm probably going to do something special for chapter 14 because we'll be passing another Mha fanfic in number of chapters that i actually really enjoyed! It's literally if the tf2 soldier was in mha. If you haven't seen it I highly recommend it. Now then if Your ready please enjoy the chapter~

I wake up and scream, it only takes me a second to realize that Mina-San was shaking me to wake me up

I look her in the face and realize I must have scared her when I screamed because she looks terrified.

[glass breaking] I turn around and realize why she had woken me up

The infected were braking in

Hands were being shoved through the windows trying to reach us, heads were Poking through to try and bite us. The front door looks like it's about to be busted in by the weight on the other side

I quickly get up well looking for a way out. I turn to the table I had put my stuff on and put my jacket on. Looking around I remember there's a door behind the bar that leads to a kitchen

A bunch of boards on one of the windows still falling off and zombies start falling in

I grab Mina's hand and start dragging her behind me as we run for the kitchen.

She yells "what about my stuff!?"

"Forget about it! I rather live then be eaten trying to get it!"

We run into the kitchen as the door finally gives way

As we enter the kitchen i frantically start looking around for a way out.

Nothing, no back door or window. But there's a freezer.

The power in the city had gone out a long time ago so it shouldn't be that cold.

I point at it and yell "we should be safe in there! " I basically drag Mina-San behind me to the freezer

I grab the handle and quickly swing it open, a cold chill blows past me. Lucky it doesn't feel like freezing temperatures.

I quickly pull Mina into the freezer and close the door behind us. Luckily for us the door is metal and it has a handle on the inside so people don't get locked inside.

I quickly grab a box full of some kind of ingredient and shove it against the door, under the handle so it won't be able to open.

I take a couple steps back and listen

It only takes a second for zeds to enter the kitchen, I can hear as tables being flipped and plaits being shattered as the kitchen is destroyed by the infected looking for us.

-30 minutes later-

Fuck it's cold in here..

It's got to be like 20 Fahrenheit, HOW THE FUCK IS THIS THING STILL WORKING?!

me and Mina both have retreated into the farthest corner of the freezer and are sitting in the corner.

I look at Mina for the first time since we got in here. Looking at her face she looks much colder than me.

I look her up and down and realize she took her jacket off along with other things, probably took them off when she was trying to sleep to be more comfortable.

Worst part is the blankets we brought from the car out there with the infected.

(Should I help her? Well if I don't she might become a Icicle… ah fuck it)

I start taking my large jacket off.

She sees what I'm doing, "what.. what are you d-doing?"

I throw my jacket at her "put it on your Obviously freezing"

She looks at as if studying is, slowly she touches a burnt part of the jacket.. "a-are y-you ok?"

I wave the question off "I'm fine just put it on"

She puts the jacket on, it big enough for her to ball up and the entire thing still covers her

We sit in silence for a while

I look at my watch I took from a zed a long time ago. 4:45 am

Still really late in the morning

I can still hear zeds outside

As we sit I realize something, zombies can't smell meat, Nor can they really see, but they can hear extremely well… but we weren't making any noise. So what made them attack?…

…

Suddenly Mina leans on my shoulder.

(What is she doing?) I look at her and realize that she's asleep

…

(Cute, she's not really good at this survival thing is she?… how is she alive I wonder..)

I wrap my arm around her and pull her closer (it's for warmth after all)

And slowly I fall asleep to….

So I see you survived. I'm sorry for the small chapter Iv just been busy lately so it's hard to get longer chapters out.
