Chapter 7 - Michael

Gabriel asked his mom if he can move as he found a new place to live, a bigger one with pool and gym, and it is not far from them.

Gabriel's mom: Isn't that going to be expensive? Also, how about when you get sick?

Gabriel: It's a friend's house mom. Also, he wants me to teach him about music, so I decided to teach him after work. He said he will also buy a full music equipments.

Gabriel's mom: How can you be sure he can be trusted?

Gabriel: He is also Angeline's friend. Also, they showed me around his house yesterday. I want to make sure Angeline is safe too.

Gabriel's mom: Okay but you must take good care of yourself and come visit us from time to time. Also, give me the address, so we can visit too or I will visit you. Say hi to Angeline for me too. I know how much you care about her, and she is a nice and polite woman, even your grandpa is amazed by her because of her talents and humbleness.

Gabriel: Thanks mom. I will say hi to her for you.

Gabriel's mom: Let me help in packing your stuff.

After packing, and moving to Raphael's house, Angeline and Raphael showed Gabriel's room. Also, Gabriel's mom came with him to accompany him and see the house.

Gabriel's mom: Raphael, thank you. Please take good care of my son. If he is sick, let me know as soon as possible. I also want him to grow mature, that is why I decided to let him move. Angeline, I know you can help me change his childish behaviour to mature because I know you since you joined the music group, I know you're capable and my son cares about you.

Raphael: Don't worry, I will let you know if something happens. I will also try my best to take care of him.

Angeline: I will also do my best to help you. I learned a lot from experiences and as someone older than him, I will also tell him, and teach him about what I know.

Gabriel's mom: Thank you so much. I'll come visit again next time.

She called Gabriel to say goodbye.

Gabriel's mom: Gabriel, I am going home now. I will come visit you next time.

Gabriel: Mom, I will miss you. I will also visit you when I have the time.

They hugged each other before his mom left. Gabriel started asking how come the three of them lives together and how Raphael got such a big house. Angeline and Raphael explained everything, excluding the fact about the mother pearl and merpeople. Several minutes later, Marius came and started wondering why a man is with them.

Marius: Hi.

Gabriel: Hi.

Raphael: Marius, this is Gabriel. He lives with us now. He is a musician and he will teach me about music.

Marius: Oh, I am a photographer. Nice meeting you.

Marius does not know about Gabriel that he and Angeline know each other and he also does not know that Gabriel cares for Angeline, one of the reason he decided to live with them. Marius went to the kitchen to see what will be their dinner and if Angeline is done cooking. Angeline is almost done cooking their dinner, Filipino style Spaghetti (sweet sauce). Also, she cooked ham and cheese roll. Angeline, Gabriel, and Marius are Filipino but Gabriel was born in Spain, and Marius was born in the US. Almost a week after is Michael's grandma's birthday. Gabriel and Angeline will both attend as they both know them. Finally, the day came and Angeline dressed up really nicely and gorgeously wearing the pearl necklace because she knows she will meet Michael. Gabriel wore something casual but semi-formal outfit. As soon as they got to the venue, they all greeted everyone and Angeline wondered where is Michael until she heard someone talking that Michael is on his way as he picked up his sister, bro-in-law, and niece. Angeline went out to check and saw Michael parking his car across the road and when they got out and started to cross the road looking both ways to check for cars. As it cleared, they started crossing, however, a really fast car suddenly came and was about to hit them. Angeline suddenly ran fast changing outfit with mask and wig, and stopped the car freezing it's tires and told them politely to move quickly as they are blocking the road, and she unfroze the tires as she jumped towards the roof of a shelter and told the driver they can go. Unknowingly to Angeline, Michael was looking at her, after he parked the car, he already saw her and was looking at her until she moved and saved his sister and his sister's family. Michael saw her going to the back door of the venue and as she passed by him. He called her name.

Michael: Angeline!

Angeline was surprised as she continues to go to the back door and changed back to her former outfit and look before she saves the family. Michael followed her and saw her.

Michael: Angeline, thank you for saving my sister and her family.

Angeline: How did you know it was me? Oh, you were looking at me?

Michael: Ah, yes. I was looking at you and I saw you but you could have hurt yourself if you went in front of the moving car like that.

Angeline: It's okay, don't worry. I froze the tires and unfroze them after, but please don't tell anyone. I can freeze you up though.

Michael: Oh okay, I won't worry. I won't tell anyone, I promise, and don't freeze me please.

Angeline: You're lying, you're still worried, and I won't freeze you. I will never do that.

Michael: How do you know I am still worried?

Angeline: I know when someone is lying or not.

Michael: How about this then, I love you.

Angeline: Uhmmm... (she knows he is saying the truth and she is surprised and flattered that Michael feels that way).

Michael: Am I lying or not?

Angeline: You're not lying.

Michael: Ahh.. please forget I said that.

Angeline: You wouldn't want that. I know you think I don't care, that is why you want to forget you said that.

Michael: How come you know everything?

Angeline: I don't know everything unless you think or thought of it. I can read minds.

Michael: Oh, wow. I really can't lie to you.

Angeline: Haha! I love it when you're honest. (she said it in a cute tone with a smile and realised what she just said and started blushing).

Michael: Then I have no choice but to be honest. I am sure you can read what is on my mind right now. (He wants to confess again and wants her reply).

Angeline: Yes, I can. I am the same. I have been wanting to tell you but I was scared.

They were about to kiss when suddenly, Michael's mom started looking for them and saw both of them at the back door, looking so close to each other.

Michael's mom: Oh, sorry, did I interrupted you two?

Michael: Uhmmm.. (looks at Angeline).

Angeline: Not really. (can read Michael's mind and his mom's, so she replied the way everyone will not worry).

Angeline whispered to Michael: I'll talk to you later. Sorry, I got worried for you and you seem confused. You can go and join your family.

Michael: Okay. Let's talk later then.
