"What do you mean you can't find her?!" Astrophel bellowed, fury radiating from him as he hurled a glass vase across the room. The vase, a beautiful piece in rich green adorned with exquisite floral designs, shattered against the wall, shards scattering like confetti. The trembling man standing before him flinched as splinters shot out, embedding themselves into his skin. He dared not grunt in pain, fearing the wrath of the silver-haired monster looming over him.

"People. Don't. Disappear." Astrophel's voice was low, dangerous, each word pronounced with deliberate enunciation as he advanced on the man. His icy demeanor had ensnared the man's slender form in a grip of terror that felt almost tangible.
