Chapter 16

Nicky wandered around the city holding the shotgun. The city was completely empty with no one except for him being there. He looked around as none of the shops were broken, the buildings were all intact like they were newly made. Nicky was feeling fear inside of him which he was not showing in the outside. He feared the things that could happen to him as he had no idea why he is not seeing anyone around. Walking the street down Nicky thought he was hearing something and that something was saying things in a voice that he just could not understand.

The voices were first far away he could not hear them so well but over time so in just some minutes they were starting to become louder like they are just coming closer. Nicky took aim with the rifle shotgun he was just looking around while aiming. Panic is what he felt, and adrenalin was pumping in his body too. He was shaking a bit this would be not a hunt for Nicky but instead this is a fight a fight for his own survival. The voices were not coming from one direction only but instead they were coming from all directions which is why Nicky could not tell where he had to look.

His head started to hear slowly as the voices were just too loud after a time that Nicky could not endure it his ears were bleeding, he wanted to close them but knew he would die but it was too much. It felt like his head would explode from the voices they were driving him insane, so he aimed the rifle shotgun at his head. He was unaware that sinners could only die from exorcist weapon and with that unaware knowledge he shot himself waking up from the dream.

"You called for me father?" Charlie said that to Lucifer her father.

Lucifer was sitting on a chair across a long table with Charlie sitting at the opposite side of it. There was luxury food in front of the two. Lucifer was calmy cutting the steak on the plate having his eyes closed and smiling silently.

`He is ignoring me´

It annoyed her that her father was just ignoring her and not even looking at her too.

"Father tell me why you called for me as I still have things to do"

She had not touched the meat on the table she was not feeling hungry seeing her father made her lose her appetite.

"Just eat Charlie trust me you will later not be able to eat anything for days even"

Lucifer had let out a small snicker. Charlie felt how her anger was building up hearing her father snickering.

"Fine" she said it in an angry tone.

She wanted to punch him but if she had done it, she would be kicked out of the house forever or get hanged outside the house upside down. She picked the knife and fork and cut the meat.

The meat was juicy and soft `This is on a higher quality meat than what I had eaten in the past'

She ate the piece of meat she cut silently the two eat the food with Lucifer finishing before Charlie and watching her eat making her just feel uncomfortable. She finished it she had no idea on how much time had passed as she had eaten the meat slowly maybe it took her an hour to finish it. She put the knife and fork on the table closing her hands together and looking serious in her father eyes. Her eyes turned red, and horns came out she turned into her demon form so that her father takes her serious.

"Are you rebellious now Charlie or why do you dare to get your demon form out in front of me"

"It has nothing to do with being rebellious father what I want is you to take me serious"The anger that had built up inside her she had let it go.

"Fine" Lucifer said with a bored tone. He wanted to annoy Charlie a bit more, but he saw that if he continued that she would soon just walk out from the room.

"I declared war against heaven"

"Hm?"

She turned her demon transformation off out of surprise hearing what she had heard.

`Declared war against heaven?´

She could not understand why her father would do something that stupid to declare war against heaven.

"Why did you do that"

She was furious at her father to do something that was stupid even more stupid than her trying to make demon redeem themself which will make them go to heaven.

"You always told me my idea was just insane but look at what you do father it seems you finally act like your age right"

"You damn girl it seems you finally act like the daughter of mine" Lucifer was amused of Charlie reaction and how she said it.
