Chapter: 51 Approaching Calamity’s identity

The Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace Grand Palace Mistress was sitting on her ice throne while in front of her was her beloved and daughter/sister, they are currently talking about their victory in the Phoenix Tournament and then the topic of the Calamity was brought up.

"Dear do you think the prophesied calamity that ancestor Mu Bingyun mention, is the Sun Moon Divine Hall." said Feng Qianhui making Sky and Gong Yuxian silent.

"No I don't think that they are the calamity that will attack our Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace, since our people are already strong enough to compete with the Sacred Grounds which we just hid a secret from everyone." said Sky to which Gong Yuxian speak.

"Dear what do you think is the calamity all about?" said Gong Yuxian with a soft voice.

"I believe it is something different and more powerful than the Sun Moon Divine Hall, since from what I heard that Sun Moon Divine Hall's strength is only at late stages of Sovereign profound realm which I can handle with the help of my formations so no need to worry Little Blue." said Sky holding Gong Yuxian's hand.

"Let's say that the calamity ancestor Mu Bingyun talking about is not Sun Moon Divine Hall but the question is what is it, the only clue that she left behind is the thousand year date after our Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace establishment." said Feng Qianhui.

"Wait here I will get something." said Feng Qianhui before standing up and head to her living quarters and beside her bed a small collection of books is located, picking what seems to be an old book before returning to Sky and Gong Yuxian.

"The answer might be in here." said Feng Qianhui before opening the old book in front of Sky and Gong Yuxian, before she began turning over the pages looking for something and then stopping at a certain page.

"Here it is." said Feng Qianhui before showing the image and words written on the book to Sky and Gong Yuxian.

The book shows an image of a large snake like creature living in water with a lot of glowing blue eyes and tentacles, and also a lot of separated jaws with small sharp teeth making Sky and Gong Yuxian look at Feng Qianhui.

"Mother, is this what you believe that the calamity ancestor Mu Bingyun is hinting at." said Gong Yuxian with a hint of doubt while Sky had a serious look on his face then Feng Qianhui started explaining.

"Well I also forgot about this but during the time ancestor Mu Bingyun was establishing our Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace on this icy region, this place was originally a vast land made of water, it only became an icy region due to Ancestor Mu Bingyun's profound art unleashing a wide attack enough to cover this whole place turning it into a natural icy region." said Feng Qianhui with a solemn voice.

"But if it is true then our ancestor is more powerful than a late stage sovereign profound realm practitioner, since overlords can't really change the natural landscape with their powers alone." said Gong Yuxian to which Feng Qianhui nodded.

"To tell you the truth our ancestor Mu Bingyun did not die from old age instead she died fighting an ancient beast, and the beast is called a Leviathan a snake fish with a part of octopus tentacles that used to live in this land long before our Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace was established." said Feng Qianhui with a sigh making her feel her age is coming to her to actually forgot something important as this.

"But if that is what happen then how did it survived when even our founder died." said Sky who keep silent till now.

"Before our ancestor Mu Bingyun died she said that the Leviathan was more powerful than her and that even though she managed to fatally injure the beast, it won't likely be able to return due to the injuries it received and the icy regions was blocking the water from rising making me forgot about it." said Feng Qianhui making the other two silent.

"Then we have ourselves a powerful beast that our ancestor died fighting for but there is still time, four more years till the prophesied calamity which is enough for us all to reach the peak strength of this planet." said Sky with a smile making Gong Yuxian and Feng Qianhui relieve.

After that the three of them continue talking about how to defeat the said beast if it really is the calamity, to which Sky just told them to train their disciples and fairy elders and break past all limits, before Sky left to go outside and meet some intruders who think they can hide.

-----Icy regions near the Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace was established-----

There are three old men flying in a slow pace they are the people of Sun Moon Divine Hall that the Patriarch order to kill Sky, they are complaining to each other about how cold is the icy regions before stopping on a hill to which they can see outside of Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace.

"Brothers I heard that Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace is full of beauties let's capture some of them before returning to the sect what do say." said Ye Qingsheng who seems to be the leader of the trio to which Ye Ziyi and Ye Shin agree, but before they can fly towards the sect they stop for in front of them a man with a blue hair appear.

"Who are you?" said Ye Qingsheng towards the men who suddenly appear in front of them without a sound making him and his brothers vigilant.

"Don't you people recognize me old men of the Sun Moon Divine Hall." said the blue haired man with a smile to which Ye Ziyi whisper to Ye Qingsheng.

"Brother Qingsheng it seems he is the man our patriarch wanted to kill he looks like the Palace Lord of Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace that was describe on the reports." said Ye Ziyi making Ye Qingsheng smile.

"It seems it is our lucky day brothers let's kill this men and get some girls from the Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace." said Ye Shin.

Before the three of them started attacking Sky with their swords, while Sky just stand in front of them and before their swords reach Sky they heard Sky speak.

"Defense Art: Ice Flame cloak." said Sky before a blue flame with small ice on them started covering him like a cloak stopping the sword attacks of the three.

"What is this so hard and it is both hot and cold." said Ye Qingsheng with surprise voice making him and his brothers move away from Sky.

"Oh this is one of my defense arts that I created with my ice flames and here I will show you three my Offense Art, Offense Art: Big Bang." said Sky raising his right palm towards the trio before a flash of blue light appear in front of the trio, and a loud blast sound accompanied by a voice of pain was heard.

"aarrgghhhh!' said the trio as they were blast away falling on the ground making the ice under them crack a bit, looking at them their front was burn with a few ice stab on their bodies with the current power of Sky killing three Tyrant Profound Realm experts is easy.

"You three shouldn't have come here to kill me and also covet disciples of my Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace or this wouldn't have happen to you three." said Sky with a sigh while shaking his head.

"Palace Lord Sky please mercy we promise that we will not do it again." said Ye Qingsheng trying to us for forgiveness since the powers of Palace Lord Sky is above them.

After that two beautiful women appear in front of Sky with a hint of worry on their face before approaching him.

"Dear are you alright are there any injury on you." said Gong Yuxian clearly worried about her beloved, after both she and Feng Qianhui felt a powerful profound energy exploding near their sect.
