Chapter 63: Nice try

Our sword fighting techniques and display were truly something increadible and a sight to behold, but I still felt that something was odd.

"I didnt expect you to be this good with the sword claire." I blocked one of her swings while saying that, it is true that im holding back a lot against her, but her techniques are indeed great.

"Im happy to be praised by the dragon sin himslef, it is thanks to my uncle Kapsian Bladeheart!" She said jumping back to create distance between us.

"Oh Kaspian is your Uncle? Well no wonder that you are this good if he trained you! I still remember the day I beated him haha." I laughed rushing towards her.

The small forest became an arena of flashing steel, our footsteps marking the rhythm of the duel. Calire's swordplay was relentless, a symphony of well-practiced techniques.

'Something is weird here, they are letting me fight Claire without intervening. And three other people still didn't show themselve at all.' I though mid-fight.

The fight reached its zenith as we locked into a fierce exchange, swords clashing with resounding force. Each movement became a test of endurance and skill. The training room seemed to hold its breath as our blades weaved a tapestry of conflict, a testament to the mastery we both possessed even I was getting excited..m

And with a final, decisive maneuver, I disarmed Claire, leaving her weapon clattering to the ground. The courtyard fell silent, the only sound the heavy breaths marking the end of our intense exchange.

Claire, acknowledging the defeat with a nod and lifted her hands, spoke of the respect earned through the clash of blades. "Okay, you win!" She shouted.

"That's the signal guys, NOW!" I heard Theo's voice come from behind.

'So they were planning this from the beginning? Nice.'

The moment I wanted to rush towards the place I heard Theo's voice, the floor suddently became slippery and looking down I found it completely frozen stoping me from my tracks.

I spread fire around me to melt the ice but my body's weight felt as if it was multiplied tens of times, making me kneel on one knee. Turning my head I found Theo chanting the spell.

Gathering force, I stood up and started walking again towards him ignoring the gravity field as if it was nothing.

"What! How is that possible? If this is not enough then how about that!" He enhanced and reinforced his spell making me barely able to move my legs, but I could still move slightly towards Kathyln.

'Just what kind of monsters is able to walk in a x50 gravity field?"

Suddently tge floor seemed to shake from tge impact of Doradrea landing next to me. "Let's swing, dragon sin!" She cried.

Her fists became bullets lunching themselves at me relentlessly anf all I did was slappng her fists left and right using minimal effort.

After 30 punches who were shot in an instant, I swiftly ducked under the punches rain and uppercuter her to the chin sending her flying doing uncontrolee backflips. All of this while my body was in the gravity field at my disadvantage.

"Being a female dosen't mean I will hold back, right? Kathyln!" I turned to the princess in order tl rush towards her but before I could do that...

"You are not going anywhere!" Kai said.

And as I was about to exit the field, thousands of metal strings engulfed my body trapping me inside, with the effect of the gravity multiplying it, now it was completely impossible to move.

"This is my time to show my genius I guess!" Feyrith appreared out of nowhere pointing his palm towards me.

[Water Serpent]

A snake shaped water waved was shot like a bullet towards me, I could not love or escape it so all I could do was to receive it and hope I wont die.

*BOOM*

Once it made contact with my body, I immedietly fell unconscious to the ground, defeated, as the other member I was fighting rushed towards me.

"You fucking idiot, were you planning on killing him or what!" Doradrea shouted.

*Thud*

"Dont you know how to control your mana morron? Go call a healer, fast!" Claire shouted at him as well, punching his head.

"I-im sorry, I thought he would be fine and... Stronger than that." Feyrith was looking down, rubbing his head..

"This dosent matter right now, go call a healer and never do this to another student."

*Clap* *Clap* *Clap* *Clap* *Clap* *Clap*

Everyone turned to the source of the claps, only for their eyes to almost come out of their sockets, and their mouths wide open.

"Good work DC members, for people facing my fourth clone at least." I grinned at them.

"W-what is the meaning of this?" Theodore was in a state of shock.

"What im saying is, you only fought my fourth clone which means you only fought me in a state of 25% of my power." I said sitting in a lotus position on one of the tree branches resting my head on my palm.

"Woow, it is to be expected from the Dragon sin of wrath." Claire had stars in her eyes.

"Humph, listen to me my rival, this time I didn't get the chance to show you that im stronger than you, but in our next fight I will definitly become the president of the DC." Feyrith pumped his chest up as well as his chin.

"I would like to see you try that." I gave a look to the other memebers and all of them had a disapointed look on their faces and looking down, except Claire who was excited and happy.

"Don't be ashamed of yourseved guys, you fought bravely and really good, unlike some others..." When I said the last words I gave a look to Curtis and Baren. "So stand proud DC memeber, you are strong."

"But still, to be defeated by you in a 6vs1 is something horrible you know?" Kai rubbed his huge noise.

"Yes this is shamefull for me as a fighter and as a warrior." Doradrea said looking down.

"Everyone, you should turn this experience and defeat into something that motivates you, something that pushes you forwards. Make your goal to be able to defeat me in a 1vs1 fight and challenge me next time, okay everyone?"

Their expression became better as they finally looked up. "YES!" x4, they all shouted, as for the princess she for the first time broke her cold character with a soft small smile, that she took back and looked at the other side when she noticed me looking at her.

"Alright guys now that I know your true stengh and that I can count on you for my and all Xyrus students life, our duty as the Disciplinary commite officially begins!"

Everyone went into formation like I instructed them yesterday, the difference is that after wittnessing my power they became more cooperative with my orders and obedient.

While doing a small patrol in my territory, I notticed Ash sitting in the middle of the hall resting his back on the wall with a depressed expression, so I ran towards him.

"Ash, what's going on?" I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"You lied to me, the Lunar Goddess wasn't looking for me." He was barely able to hold tears, while I was barely able to hold myself frol burting out in laugh in front of him.

"W-what happened bro." I stuttered because I almost laughted.

"She said she already loves someone else..." He placed his hand on his forehead, hidding hid eyes from me.

"It's okay, she didn't deserve you in the first place." I tried to console him, with a sarcastic tone.

"Just what are the chances of that other person being me?" He asked.

"Less than a zero my friend, now come lets go. You know what, I will find a girl for you later okay?So lets go, we have the same class for today." I helped him stand up.

"For real?" He started getting into the mood.

"Yeah its a promise." I placed my hands on my small waist with a happy smile.

"Aight, let's get going then!" He was now going enthusiastically, even faster than me.
