We walked to the front of the pastry store and I was greatly grateful. It was back to being what it was once and was far from the ruins I left it as the last time.
The front of the store was a sight to behold - the once-shattered windows were now replaced with sparkling glass panes. It looked as though it wasn't once broken, the walls too.
One thing Medusa liked a lot was that it looked the same. Just as it was when Mama was around.
"It's as good as new." Annoying Jerk whispered to me, while the lights in front of the pastry store illuminated the silent night.
I nodded in agreement. "And awfully quiet too," I added.
