Chapter 300_ We lost the Dean

As Teacher Nyx addressed us, what rallied in my head was how she was close to Dean Androcles despite being a demon. Were the teachers so unsuspecting that they hadn't perceived her burnt paper smell?

"This will be our last general meeting for the year!" She boomed and the entire Hall exploded even louder.

Regardless of the disdain I felt for Teacher Nyx being a demon, I felt something turn inside of me. We were almost at the end of the first year. It meant we'd spent one year in this school.

It was a very very dramatic, dangerous, demanding, traumatic, and all shades of tiring year. A lot had changed for me. I had completely changed from the Medusa I used to be. I had gained a lot but also lost a lot too.

That statement was so moving that when the entire Hall reverberated with screams and whistles, a tear fell from my eye which I hurriedly wiped. I felt like I was the most tested student for this year.
