" Why are we going into the river Meds?!" Pandora's voice reverberated with unsurety.

I was still battling with trying to keep the now aggressive Mackenzie's hands in place.

"Just dive into the river!" I yelled before doing so myself.

I dived into the river while dragging Mackenzie along with me. As the breeze of the ocean mixed with that of the night ambushed my face, the screams of Mackenzie pierced my ears.

As my body collided with the river, instead of the wetness of the water drenching my outfit and body as it had done before, I found myself meeting the dryness of the empty pastry store's entrance after a strong force engulfed my entire being.

Shortly after I arrived with Mackenzie in front of the pastry store, the girls arrived too barely two seconds after. It was as though they had come out of thin air.
