Xiyadie is Evolving?
Quinlan made sure that nothing would go wrong this time. He adjusted the Qi Gathering Device's output to the minimum before checking the core's stability. After making sure that nothing was wrong with it, he then nodded to Xiyadie.
"It's fine to start now."
Xiyadie ate one Qi Gathering pill that Quinlan gave her, then took a deep breath before closing her eyes.
Her innate constitution, the Devouring Ocean of Yin Qi, activated as soon as she began cultivating. A cloud of cold Qi started to gather around, prompting Quinlan to activate the Qi Gathering device.
As soon as he inserted a sliver of Qi into it, the device started to come to life. However, since he limited its output to the minimum, the Yang Qi in the surroundings barely moved. Seeing this, Quinlan slowly adjusted the output until it matched the rate at which the Yin Qi was gathered by Xiyadie.
