Mysterious Ruins
Quinlan's movement technique was interrupted. Or, to be more specific, "altered." As such, when he opened his eyes, he wasn't surprised to see unfamiliar scenery.
"Where am I?" He mused while looking around, lowering his stance.
The place he dropped in was practically at the furthest possible distance he could go. The "malfunction" of the Seven Celestial Steps ended up sending him to the furthest place he could move to using all of his Qi. In short, he would need to recover Qi first before he could return to where he came from.
"No. Thinking of the distance, I would need to stop by the market again before moving back to the sect," he analyzed.
However, he can't do that. If he did, he would be found by Venerable Kang again, and this time, he doubted he could do the same thing and escape. "I'll probably be captured the moment I step there."
