Quinlan was allowed to sit down on the sofa as the quest-giver woman left for a bit. Of course, this was to follow his advice to fix her appearance first before continuing their discussion.
During the ten minutes he was waiting, Quinlan managed to regain his cool.
"Sorry for the wait."
The woman soon returned, wearing a simple pink robe with her long black hair tied in a side tail and a non-decorative hairpin holding it in place. She had already washed her face, removing the traces of her sleep and giving her a refreshed visage.
The thin, alluring smile adorning her face was something that could captivate one's soul. But thanks to her earlier sloppy figure still vivid in Quinlan's eyes, he was able to remain mostly unaffected, unperturbed by her beauty.
"It's fine, miss. I'm not in a rush, anyway." He replied with a smile.
