Mission character: I am the legend

I hit the nearest vampire zombie with baseball bat.

I looked around and found another vampire zombie leapt on me.

I bonked his head making his jaw dislocated. 

However, that wasn't stopping monster from attacking me. I killed it with one more strike.

My gray hair was stained with the red of blood.

How the hell I was on this place. Next move to 1 month ago. The time when I first entered this world.

In Conan world

At the secret underground basement, I knelt to the altar that I made for Wibu God who rules on the peak of Wibu with Wibu power.

"Please answer me"

A pink door appeared in front of me.

"Okay. I hear that. Don't say Wibu too much." Wibu God bonked my head with his wand.

"Aw. That's for dramatic." I explained.

"You are too energetic. What do you want to ask?" He adjusted his pantsu in front of me which can kill my eyes if I look at it too long.

"Nothing too much. I want to ask how to upgrade character." I showed him my phone. On the screen showed parameters of character.

"Do mission. You know it, my Wibu believer." 

"Mission"

"Correct" he swayed his wand. "Character mission." 

"Character mission" I repeated his words.

"That's right. Click into your character that you want."

I did as he said and saw the path of character.

"You see. Those path are possible future of character. You can upgrade your character by completing character mission."

"Oh. Each character has its own mission."

"Correct. By the way, if you die, that character will be eradicated from your account so" He laid the wand on my head. "Be careful if the number of character reaches 0"

"I see" I swallowed saliva.

"I want to inform you that other participant was on tutorial stage. You may meet them in future so." he opened isekai door. "Good luck"

He stood the other side of the door and closed it.

The isekai door slowly disappeared from top to bottom.

Receiving his answer, I checked character mission.

There was many path that I could choose. I clicked on Hassan of the curse arm to see its character mission.

"Making Hassan-I-Sabbath acknowledge you" I read the content and shook my head since this mission was close to impossible.

In type moon world, Hassan of the curse arm replied on the power of demon making the old man of mountain wasn't happy.

If I meet him, the only thing I can imagine is my head will be on his hand.

"So I will save this one." Saving Hassan of the curse arm was a good choice for me.

Only Stelle was a valid option.

I opened it and saw many character mission.

"This character have many paths"

Stelle could become researcher, doctor, scientist and many jobs required high IQ.

The potential of Hassan lost to Stelle.

"I guess I will farm XP for this character." 

After thinking for a while, I decided to go the path scientist.

Why. 

Of course to cure disease. 

Imagine that cancer can be cured. My pride will be restored sooner.

In scientist career, there were many small jobs but I chose bio-disease and bio-weapon first.

I searched this list and saw many funny thing like [immune to virus zombie].

Thinking this trait was good. I clicked on it. It showed me many worlds that had been destroyed by zombie.

From the outlook, I recognized that world was Resident Evil. 

"Too difficult." I slid to see another one.

"This world is Honkai. Funny. I don't have a dead wish yet."

As a true gamer, I chose the easiest one.

Like what people say 'small risk, small harvest'.

That was the reason why I will farm this character for a long time.

"I have an eternal time anyway. No need to be hurry"

I clicked it and entered the world.

The world named: I am the legend.

When I entered the world, I was in the state of soul form. I exploited this state to explore the world. The world was destroyed by the man-made drug.

I couldn't see any survivors. But I found vampire zombie instead. They were once a normal human until they were infected by Krippin virus. This virus was very dangerous since it could spread through the air very quickly.

98% human on earth became vampire zombie. Only 2% remain didn't turn into or will turn into.

After remembering every important location, I started descending as Stelle.

When I opened my eyes, I made my first move to supermarket to store food and drink. 

After doing that, I will find a safe place to stay. Those nocturnal monster was very vicious at night.

I repeated this action and only stopped when I caught a glimpse of main character of this film, Robert Neville.

After 1 month of traveling, I finally found him playing golf on the battleship.

I approached him while chewing bubble gum. He was too immersed in playing golf that he didn't pay attention to his surround.

Well, this was normal since he was always lonely for 3 years straight.

Only when I went close enough, his dog noticed my presence and started barking.

He tried to calm his dog down but his dog, Sam, moved towards one direction.

He looked at his dog's direction. For a moment, his eyes couldn't believe what he saw.

"Survivor." He exclaimed in great shock.

For 3 years of waiting, he saw another person beside him.

"Calm down. Little boy." I raised my baseball bat at the dog. 

"Sam. Come back here." he ran fast towards me.

When Robert came closer, he couldn't believe there was another survivor.

"Hi. Can you calm your dog?" I said.

"Sam. Sit. Sit Sam." he ordered his dog but his dog didn't listen.

That was our first meeting.

After seeing me, he invited me to his house for talking.

"Hello. My name is …"

"Robert Neville. I know. I have searched for you." I said his name first before he could say.

Although this was rude, this was the only way that I could fabricate a fake story.

"You know me."

"Of course. I also works in military. Military scientist named Stelle." I replied with a big lie. Science. Please. I didn't know a single thing about science.

"So do you know where are the other survivors or the cure. Have they found the cure?" he couldn't contain his excitement.

"Hmm. Survivors. I know they still survive." I played with my long hair. "Somewhere in the forest."

"Can you draw me a location?" He brought a map.

"Sorry. I forget the location." I told him the hard face.

A disappointment appeared on his face but his face returned to normal.

"So why you are finding me."

"To deliver a new. A new that can save the world." I calmly said.

"A new can save the world. You mean the cure have been invented." He stood up when hearing my words.

"Not really but I found something is very interesting before my base got over-flooded with those monster." 

Hearing my loss, he sat back down.

"Sorry"

"Don't be sorry to me. It's not your fault. Anyway. Your blood is a cure."

"What" he held his face. "My blood is a cure."

"That's right." I confirmed his doubt. Actually, I didn't know but at least, it indeed happened on movie.

"You are a special person. Robert Neville. Your blood will save people."

"Wait wait wait. Let me." he stood up and walked around. "Breathe a little bit."

"I have tried it on my white mouses. None of them was cured." He pointed the frustration point in his research.

"That was a mouse. Have you tried it directly on them?" I pointed to the picture taken by him.

When he saw those pictures, he couldn't hide his anger since those monsters kill his wife and child.

"But they will die like those mouse."

"Don't worry. Robert. I see it with my eyes" I placed the cup of tea down.

"Let go and catch some infected. Shall we." I stood up with my hands raised.

A little hope lit in him.

He shook my hand and prepared his car to catch the infected.

Seeing his enthusiasm, my mouth raised into a smile.

"Actually. To clear this world isn't hard." I looked Robert through the window. "As long as you know the key to solve it."

If I didn't know this truth, this world would be as hard as Resident Evil.
