Morning came and Elric's slumber was stripped away by the tugging of his sheets. The lycan did not need to open his eyes to know who was trying so hard to wake him up so early.
"Edmund, please grant your poor father five more minutes of sleep, I had a rather hard time falling asleep last night."
"But farther-"
"If it is haunting you want, it can wait till after we have had our breakfast. Now please, allow me this, just this once." The lycan turned away and covered his head with his pillow in a desperate attempt to fall back asleep.
"I'm glad you're finally warming up to the idea of taking me haunting each morning Father," Edmund spoke as he peeled off the pillow off his father's face. "But we won't be able to find any prey at such an hour, it's almost an hour past twelve in the afternoon."
Elric's ears twitched a bit before he abruptly sat up. "Twelve?! Twelve in the afternoon?!"
