"So you're all demigods like me? That does explain a lot of things- can you stop with the hair? its really distracting..." Percy trailed off. "Sorry about that. I cannot control it....yet. Back to the point. These three here are actually your close relatives, your first cousins in fact. You might have noticed some peculiarities or strange things happen around you or by you." His hair now changed colour only once or twice a day.

"Now that you mention it, I could hold my breath in the pool underwater for more than 3 minutes. Grover told me that must be like a record or something. So cousins huh? Wow." Percy said in deep thought.

They had a long chat about Percy's parents before they reached Percy's home by walk, cause Max's hand was ina cast. Chiron promised to deliver his bike to Percy's house before they left.

The door opened to two men arguing about something to a woman half their height. "Mom? what's going on? where's that Ugly-ano?" Percy asked going to mother.

"Hey! Watch your mouth kid. Have some respect for your dad." One of Gabe's friend stepped up to him menacingly.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Max stepped inside their house, his left arm in a cast and tattered clothes blowing in the slight breeze in the apartment he released a bit of bloodlust trying to scare them a bit. But that did not work out, cause they never came in contact with bloodlust before.

"Whatcha gonna do tough guy? Talk us to death? Ha!"the fatter one snickered. "Nope T-bone is looking for you guys, something about today being the deadline and Gabe could not pay his part." Max was yawning as if uninterested.

"Holy shit Mike! Gabe' gonna get capped. lets go man!" they pushed passed them and made their way out and ran down the stairs.

"So... who wants some cake? its blueberry." Sally Jackson asked as if nothing happened. Percy and Max both raised their hands.

"Thanks for letting us stay Ms.Jackson." Max said putting his empty plate in the sink. Max saw an opportunity to talk to Sally alone.

"Miss? But I'm-" Sally froze looking at Max's pointed look. She swooned, her knees weak, buckled. Max caught and she slowly slid down against the wall. She faced the ceiling closing her eyes, silent tears rolled down, her face now had a look of peace, as if she let go of something.

Max kept quiet not wanting to say anymore to this woman, he really did respect her for enduring this much just for her son. A pang of jealousy came over Max. He was shocked at himself, he never knew he himself yearned for parental love, just like any other demigod in the camp.

As a reincarnated person, he always thought that he would be alone, not able to fit in...until he met Thalia. He never gave much thought about other things like relationships, love, family. He still respected his Father but then, never had the opportunity to spend some time with him.

Percy, Sally, Max, Thalia, Nico, Bianca were having dinner, Grover had gone back to the Camp with Chiron. "Thalia here is the daughter of Zeus, Nico and Bianca are the children of Hades and you are son of Poseidon. They are your brother and sisters. Oh..I'm the son of Pan. And oddly enough, that makes you my Grand-uncles and aunts. And even weirder is that Thalia is my girlfriend."

"Ewww... that's gross!" Percy started snorting with laughter.

"Percy, we need to talk about your future and what it means to be demigod. But before that..Think fast!" Max threw the pen at Percy, who did not even react to it squarely taking it to his forehead.

"Aargh! Why would you do that? And what the hell is this?a pen?" Percy whined, picking up the pen he rubbed the sore spot. "That's a present from your dad. Go ahead open the cap." Max replied.

Percy did so, the pen grew to greek style, one metre double-edged blade, a hand and a half grip, celestial bronze sword. "My dad gave this? Wow....That's so cool." he kept looking at the blade turning it over his hand, getting a feel for it.

"Is it okay to give him that? He's just a kid you know?" Sally leaned over to Max and whispered. Max just gave a slight smile and whispered back"By that definition, we are all kids." Max said pointing st himself. "Point taken. But I still worry about him." she trailed off.

"Percy" Max got everyone's attention back, Percy put back the lid shrinking it back to a pen.

"Now, we need to discuss what we are going to do. Ms.Jackson takes Gabe's car. Percy, Nico, Bianca are coming with Ms.Jackson and Thalia comes with me on the bike. There may be monsters, a minotaur was spotted near the camp." Max mixed truth with a bit of bullshit.

"We ride at dawn."
