BUT, being ever magnanimous, I forgave him and Hecate. She is the one who sealed my divinity, beware her power for she is the Goddess of Magic and the Mist. Now, the reason you are here is obvious I guess?" Maximus just nodded, absorbing all the information. "Coming to the matter of surviving, you know what to do I guess? I will tell you anyway. Go to Camp Half-Blood and there you will get necessary training. This is good for you because the more you use your power and fight the more you will grow. You see, that's why Zeus feared me. Me and my offsprings are the same, we have limitless growth. But I'm warning you, never show your full power to anybody, especially to the Gods, or you will end up like me."
Pan's face was shadowed by sadness and remorse in his eyes. He faced Max, but not able to look into his eyes, "Max there is something I need to tell you about your mother. Your mother of this world." "It's Okay. You don't have to tell me. I can guess what happened. You are the Failed-Sex God after all. Forgive and Forget.". The God of the Wild gave a weak chuckle, "Thank you my boy. I hoped you would forgive me, but never believed uou would. It was because of me that she met an unfair and early end.
"Did you love her?" Maximus asked but already knew the answer. "With all my heart. Ha! Look at me. A God!! Crying!!". "Well for what it worth you are a better god than most, and that includes Zeus." to this Pan gave out another one of his bleat/roar laugh.
Maximus asked what he was meaning to for some time, excitement showing in his eyes, "Will I get any powers and how do I use them?". "Sure. You will inherit some or all of my powers. I myself do not know. Seeing as I'm the God of Chaos it is quite fitting don't you think?" he chuckled and continued. "Now unlocking your powers is rather simple, but you will have to figure that one on your own. What I will help you though is giving you the key to unlocking your powers. Remember, choose carefully. That's the only hint I'm gonna give you."
"So how are you gonna unlock my potential to get my powers? Any ritual or just 'BOOM yay I have powers!' or something." "Ah yes..here you go." saying so, Pan headbutted Maximus right in the forehead. But just before Max could react to anything else, he heard Pan again, "Be careful and stay vigilante. Oh and Max? GO WILD!!"He said, "Consider this one a gift." a fist came out of nowhere and punched Max right in his gut waking him up from his dream/vision/ Mind-dimension. "What the !?" Maximus woke with a start looking at his surroundings. He was still in the zoo, not a second passed in the real world, all the animals, around him, comfortably dozing off.
In an other dimension....
A half-man, half-goat hybrid with a long goatee(ha! get it?) could be seen waking up from slumber and stretching his sore aching muscles. "I'm too old for this shit. I swear, if I had not known earlier, I would have thought he is the son of Athena....wait did I forget to tell him something. Meh... he's a smart kid, he'll figure it out.
Back in Max's dimension/world...
Three old ladies spinning a ball of yarn or thread which was red in colour, stooped what they were doing. "Did you feel that sisters?" "yes, an anomaly, how interesting...". "Yes sister, it is. Very, VERY interesting." And the three started cackling between themselves as if it was world's greatest joke and they were the only one privy to it. After sometime the three sisters stopped laughing and sighed, knowing that they have to re-thread their needles and start afresh.
(Fatass: Wow...too many goat[good] puns. bwahahaha...I'm sorry🤣😂 I can't stop myself. Thank God he's gone for a break, or its my brains decorating the wall.)
