"Kieran, please," Rose begged again as he carried her deeper into the woods.
He wasn't listening. He was angry. But where was he even taking her!?
Rose bit her lip, realizing she might have made a mistake by teasing Kieran during practice. She hadn't expected things to escalate, nor had she imagined that those poor guys would end up taking the brunt of Kieran's frustration. How was she supposed to know he could take on all of them at once?
He finally stopped walking and put her down, towering over her with a fierce look in his eyes. "I don't appreciate you embarrassing me in front of everyone," he sneered, his gaze sharp and unyielding.
"I already said I was sorry!" Rose protested, her voice edging into a whine.
"Not good enough," he murmured, inching closer until there was barely any space between them. His green eyes glinted with something darker—an intense, undeniable desire that made her heart pound.
