"You..."
King Blake stopped Rory.
If it were anyone else, she wouldn't be so surprised, but the person who stopped her was King Blake.
"Why?" she asked softly.
The car door slammed shut, and the sound of the engine revving away was loud.
Rory, with red eyes, stared at him and screamed in despair, "Tell me! Why?! Did you hear me? She's the murderer! She killed Tina! She pushed her down… Yes, you heard it clearly!"
King Blake's arms were like a wall of bronze and iron. "She's already gone," he said.
"Yes! She's already gone, all because of you! Why did you stop me, King Blake? Why did you do this?"
"No evidence…" King Blake stared at Rory just as tightly.
"But I saw it! Have you ever seen anyone die in front of you? Have you? You have no idea how sad Mrs. Green is. Tina has only been dead for a few days. But you let her go, King Blake, why did you do this? Did you come here just to stop me?"
