"Congratulations, Alpha. Luna." The doctor says as she holds the cleaned-up twins in her arms then hands them over to their mother. The Alpha leans over to peer into his children's faces with a smile, but it fades when he sees that his daughter looks past him not at him for the brief moment she opens her eyes.
"She's blind." He says coldly as he stares at her sleeping peacefully on her mother's chest next to her brother.
"How can you be so sure?" She asks, looking up at him with slight fear in her eyes.
"Fine. We'll wait until she's a year old." He says then leaves the room to attend to some pack matters.
A year later, the Alpha and Luna watched as the twins play with each other listening to their joy-filled giggles.
"She's blind therefore she's weak. We are going to get rid of her." Alpha James says to his mate.
"Ok." She says coldly and moves to walk past him, but he harshly grabs her arm.
"You lucky I let them live since they aren't mine so watch your attitude." He snarls at her then lets her go. Later that night, he drugs their daughter, Mei then assigns one of his warriors to take to rouge popular grounds and allow nature to decide what to do with her.
What they didn't expect was for nature to be on her side.
Everyone deserves a chance at life. Blind or otherwise.
Mei's mother should've fought harder for her but knowing her state she couldn't.
What do you think she should've done?
