I had to endure 3 hours of continuous parading in front of Xander.

The man in question however enjoyed himself immensely.

I tried gown after gown.

Blue.red.pink.purple.yellow.orange.green

Which color I didn't try!?

He just sat there behaving like a King while I endured gowns

"You know you can look less smug! " I snapped

"But I love seeing you in beautiful gowns you look exceptionally edible," he said with a grin

Edible!

"I am not food!"

"You'd make a mighty fine morsel though " for effect the blasted man even licked his lips

"I said-"

"Your body I could just devour for hours, I can even eat you if you know what I mean is-"

"Xander! What's wrong with you!?"

He gave me a heart-melting smile

"Maybe my mate is soo beautiful and I love her soo much I have a difficult time controlling my tongue "

He started laughing. Maybe because I resemble an over-ripe tomato!

"I...I.."

"Sir what should I pack for you? you and your lady liked anything? " the sales lady asked us

"Yes madam, I would like you to pack all the gowns which my love tried and have them delivered to the pack house "

I gasped at all the dresses! Is he insane?

"Xander how will you afford it!? I don't need that many dresses! I-"

"I can afford love. trust me. and besides, you looked positively ravishing in all of them" he said giving me a heated look

And there I go blushing again

"awww Luna blushes" the owner of the shop gushed

"I know isn't she priceless," he said with an awwed expression, that actor!

Oh, will he stop my cheeks are hot enough to make freaking omelets!

He then made me try different shoes and different shawls and assisted me with everything

By the time we finished our little shopping trip, I was the owner of 11 dresses! 17 slippers And 9 shawls. And I tried to pay Xander but the look he gave me could freeze over a volcano so I wisely let it go. I do have to recompense him in some other manner that's for sure

Xander left me after the trip to take care of some pack work and gave me a tender kiss on my head saying that he would like to talk to me by 5 pm and I meet him in his study. I was quite excited though scared by what exactly he wanted

"bhuuuuuuu!"

Someone screamed in my ears and I jumped to the wall

And Ruth appeared with a wide grin

"gotcha!"

She is Xander's mother!

"Aunty-"

"Nana young lady," she said wagging her thin finger at me

"I mean mom why did you-"

"It was fun you looked soo deep in thought you should have fun young lady! My son not giving you fun?"

I was shocked! Was she referring to the smoldering looks her son was giving me for the past 3 days or the shopping?

"Oh you know the fun of bedroom has he- oh god you are blushing! "

Well, what did she expect?

"I..I"

"Oh don't be coy tell me!" My god she has gossip eyes "what happened with a full moon in a week-"

"What does the moon has to do with anything? "

"Oh dear, you don't know?"

I stared at her should I be knowing something?

Her face became sobered

"Come dear let's have tea" with that she and I entered a room that looked like a drawing room there were comfy furniture and a plasma TV the walls were wooden kept with the ancient style of the house. uhh, castle.

Ruth poured us both tea

"You see full moons are very important for our species-"

"You'll turn into wolves then right!" I have read some were books after all

She chuckled

"We can turn into wolves anytime we want" she said with a little laugh "a full moon, however, affects us in stronger ways," she said sobering up

Hmm I should tell Xander to show me his wolf if he can do that anytime he wants

"So you see Xander will want to mate you. He will be obsessed with the need to mark you and make you his. He'll be more possessive than before and well he may even make inappropriate comments "

What. the. fuck

That is why he is behaving like that. Shit, he wants to mark me. He wants to - oh god

"What do you mean I don't want Xander to mark me!"

There was a strangled cry growl from the doorway

When we looked Xander was standing looking as if he was in immense pain and then he ran

I didn't want that. Shit

"His wolf thinks you are rejecting him"

I immediately went in search of Xander but the madman has locked himself in his study

"Xander"

"Please go away life not now"

His voice was huskies than necessary

"cupcake -"

"Noooo!" he snarled from the other side

I need to tell him why I said that

"Xander please just let me explain I do want you to mark me-"

"Don't lie! I heard you"

"It is rather difficult to have a conversation with the blasted door open the door, Xander, for me please!"

The door swung open and Xander stood there his eyes were red-rimmed and his cheeks were suspiciously wet

I was finding my life I had to ask her about something important which I am thinking about since somedays

I found her in the drawing room with my mother they were talking about the full moon

I had almost forgotten now I know why I wanted to snatch the eye out of kyle when he smiled at life and why I want to keep her close to me all the time as if it's a compulsion.

"what do you mean I don't want Xander to mark me? "

My life said horrified

My mark the thought of my mark horrified my mate! She is horrified by me! My mark!my mate!

Xavier howled in pain

My mate doesn't want my mark! Xavier was howling

They saw me standing there and I couldn't bear it I left and went to my study and finally allowed a tear or two to slip.

My mate knocked on the door but I just couldn't see her now I don't wanna break in front of her but she was Damn persistent and I could never tell her know for anything. I tried to compose myself as much as possible and then finally opened the door

She stared at me for a minute before she flung her arms around me in full force

"I didn't mean like that Xander I was just shocked that's it you know I asked you myself to mark me then why won't I want your mark I would love to have your mark, after all, you are most special to me heck I love you I really-"

She said she loved me!

I kissed her on the lips I know my life can go on forever with her rants I thought she was adorable when she did that

"say it again!"

Her eyes widened when realization sinned in and then her mouth curved in a sly smile

"I know you love me, Xander"

Seriously right now I don't have patience I blame the full moon approaching!

I picked her up and kissed her before sitting with her on my lap

"sweetheart move in with me, "I told her kissing her cheeks and burying my nose in her hair

"I am already in your house cupcake "

"No love my room you will share my room with me," I told her kissing the length of her neck

"Xander!"

"hmmm"

"Xander I don't think I should-"

I began kissing her shoulders slowly slipping off the sleeves of her top

"Xander! I can't concentrate if you do that!"

"what did I do love? " I asked innocently

"you know very well what you did!" she said pointing an accusing finger at me. She was breathtaking when she was angry

I kissed her nose then I kissed her chin and I kissed her neck where I will mark her soon I kissed and sucked that spot and she groaned with pleasure

"Xander i... I can't"

"hmm, love? " I kissed her again I slowly dropped her top a little and began kissing her

"so you'll move into my room love? "

"yes!"
