Xander

Jake and Rose left to bring Life's mom because Life believed her mom may help us with this dilemma and then there was that letter.

I have that letter still with me safely tucked in my jeans pocket, I don't want Life to worry but I think it is necessary for her to be aware, I don't want to restrict her, I just want her to be careful

Life has become the center of my universe! her smile can light my day, her tears can dull my day and her smile could just make the day a little brighter

"You sound like a cheesy guy from an even cheesier movie"

"I do not!"

"Yes, you do! When am I going to meet my mate I haven't met her yet!" He whined

My wolf whines a lot

"You know I can hear you." He said humming

There was a knock on the door and life entered.

"Xander, you wanted to talk to me?"

"Yes please sit this, I think you should know, I don't want to hide anything from you "

"Do you have a girlfriend tucked in here?" I narrowed my eyes at him

"No-no wouldn't dream of it! you know I love you!"

Now when he says that I feel guilty that I can't say those words back to him I know he wants me to it is there in the way he looks at me soo hopefully

"Life?"

I broke from my thoughts and concentrated on the important matter which he wants to discuss with me

"Yes, Xander what do you want to talk about? "

He seems to be in deep thought and then finally he looks at me as if he made his decision

"There have been some unusual activities near the pack borders, they don't know yet what it is but my best trackers are working on it and Jake found this note the other day -"

"What note?"

He passed me a note which I should say, was not in a very good condition, it seemed like someone has crushed it numerous times

"This note was found at the borders, it is concerning you, I think you have a right to know about it"

I opened the note and quickly read its content

I was shocked

"Life what happened you have suddenly gone pale are you alright? " Xander looked panicked when he came to where I sat, he lifted me and put me on his lap and kissed my head

"Are you alright? what's wrong?"

"I... "

"What happened love? You know I'll always protect you! You don't trust me?"

He said sounding a little sad and upset

"No-no, I do trust you it's just when I ran from the castle that day-"

"I am sorry love I told you I regret how I behaved I did regret it very much-"

I pecked his lips so he would stop talking he had the habit of doing this and never let me complete what I actually want to say

"No Xander it's not that, when I ran from the castle that day-"

"I told you I am sorry-"

"Enough! Will you shut up and let me complete ones!"

He did shut his mouth with an amused look at my outburst and gestured for me to continue

"I met this man before you found me he told me the exact words-"

"What! and you are telling me this now! "

"I didn't think much of it then, he had amazing black hair and icy blue eyes and-"

"You seem to have noticed him in a lot of detail love" he grumbled

"Oh, Xander you know he just... Okay back to the point so he said that he hopes I make the right choice when the time comes and that he would wait for it"

"I'll tell Blake to do some research on this black hair blue eyed gorgeous guy " he sulked

Oh, my cupcake is jealous again. I grinned

"What are you grinning for? "

"You are very cute "

"Cute! You can say I am sexy or hot but cute!"

"Yes," I say nodding my head for emphasis

A reluctant smile even tugged the corners of his mouth

"Alpha?" Blake entered the room

"Yes, Blake I want you to do some research Life seems to recall this guy in vivid details who met her" he cast a meaningful look in my direction

"He has black hair and blue eyes and he said the same words to Life which are, in that loathsome letter"

I smiled my cupcake is really adorable

"Okay Alpha"

"Report to me ASAP about any progress, I want to know about everything about that man and what he wants with my Luna!"

After Blake left Xander turned to me

"I was thinking I'll take you shopping today"

"Shopping," I said a little pained I don't like shopping

Xander grinned heart-melting all teeth showing a smile at her

"I never thought a woman could be that pained at the prospect of shopping! "

"Really Xander, why do I need to shop? "

"You must have noticed, your attire is not fit here I mean you can show all your legs to me I even adore how they are shapely and how they will look wrapped-"

"Xander! " I glared at him

He smirked

"Okay okay back to the topic, I don't want other males seeing umm my Lunas assets?"

"Xander!" what the hell is wrong with him I glared at him

"Okay okay" he raised his hands in a submitting gesture

"I just don't like soo much on display you know I am possessive please," he said and well I do like gowns and that's how my torture began...
