It took a few days for life to return to normal after the ball.

My brother, Tynan, decided to extend his visit. I suspected it had more to do with spending time with Jessa than anything else. It was interesting to see the way they gravitated toward each other. I not-so-secretly wanted Jessa to return to Emerald Mountain with Tynan as mates, but I also selfishly didn’t want to part with her either.

We sat around the breakfast table, Jessa right beside Tynan. Asher sat across from them and kept shooting them awkward painful love-sick glances when he thought no one else was looking, but I was. I saw everything.
