Mated To A Vampire

AXEL'S POV......

We were all gathered in the main room,my park members and myself. Normally we gathered here for issues concerning my society but today we were gathered here to talk about me,I was the issue to be discussed. I stared at the picture in my hands, it was the picture of Silvar, my precious mate that was killed by those useless vampires, just wait till I lay my hands on them. Tears threatened to roll down my cheeks but I sniffed them back, Alphas don't cry.

"Axel you can't keep doing this to yourself" my best friend, Hunter stated.

Julia,my little sister got up and sat beside me, her hands on my shoulder.

"Hunter is right, its been a month now and everyone is waiting for you, all the parks in our society are waiting for their Alpha, we are waiting for our Alpha"

Yeah right! I was the Alpha Lord and no one cared about my feelings, all they wanted was for me to come up with a solution for all their fucking problems. My pack unlike every other pack was the strongest in the society because I was the Alpha Lord:

Sia is a nymph.

Her twin sister,Sue is a witch.

My sister Julia is a beta.

My late mate's little brother, Jude is a shape shifter.

And lastly Mark,the only human and hunter in the park.

As you can see there were no vampires in my pack, well that is because vampires and werewolves have been in a feud for a long time now even before my mate death. Am pretty sure that was why they decided to murder my Silvar, I could not even bear laying my eyes on one regardless of letting one in my park.

I ignored them and continue to stare at the picture, using my hand to trace Silvar's beautiful face "Whatever, anything you say won't change a thing, as you can see I am still mourning the death of Silvar and your Luna" I sighed "You know what, Hunter can take my place till am ready".

"Well we will have to change that mentality, won't we?".

Someone suddenly said, just then a wind blew pass us and I knew exactly who that voice belonged to, SELENA myself and Hunter best friend but to other supernatural 'The Moon Godess' appeared and everyone except Hunter and i bowed to her.

She smiled sweetly "Hope you guys won't mind excusing myself, Axel and Hunter for just few minutes"

Alia nodded "Of course my Queen" and within few seconds, the main room was empty leaving only me,Hunter and Selena. Selena sat down,her expression suddenly changed into one of deep worry and pity "I heard about Silvar, am so sorry"

"Took you long enough" Hunter grumbled.

"Am really really sorry,I was busy"

I sighed then dropped the picture,staring deeply into Selena's eyes "you know,all this is all your fault"

She stared at me confused "what do you mean?"

"Well what can I say, Hunter here got a nice mate who is still alive while you gave me a mate who died two years after she became my mate and a year and 10 months after I finally accepted her and learned to love her, just great!".

Selena frowned "you can't blame me, I only found a mate that suit your personality and besides you can't deny the fact that she was the one who tamed you".

"Of course you would give an excuse".

"Axel that's enough, Selena is not to be blamed" Hunter scolded.

I buffed "yeah right" But I kept my cool. Hunter was the only one apart from Silvar who had that effect on me.

"Believe me when I say I will do anything to make this right to you Axel"

"Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done, Silvar is dead"

She suddenly grinned "There might be something I can do".

She exchanged glances with Hunter who suddenly shook his head wearing an horrified expression "No.....No.....No, you can't possible be thinking of do ing that".

"Yes I can, am the moon goddess after all".

"But that is against the rules guiding the supernatural world".

"Do you really think I care less, am ready to do anything for the both of you or have you not realized that by now?".

I waved my hands to the both of them in a-seeking-for-attention manner so they would stop snickering about what I just couldn't understand "Hello.......am still here you know and you guys can tell me what you are arguing about you know since am obviously the subject matter".

"Selena wants to get you a new mate" Hunter suddenly blurted out.

I wore a confused look because I was actually confused "A new mate? is that even possible?".

Selena nodded "Yeah, I just have to convince the higher authorities and find the girl fit for you".

Hunter shook his head "Tell her she's nuts Axel, it has never happened in the history of supernaturals and you know it's a taboo. She is fully aware that the higher authorities won't agree to it, she is just gonna go ahead and do it by herself and she is gonna land in big trouble".

Selena snapped her fingers at Hunter in an annoyed manner "Stop talking Hunter you are just trying to discourage Axel from saying yes and besides your opinion doesn't matter to me on this issue so let Axel speak".

I studied her for a while before I shook my head "Sorry but am not interested".

She gritted her teeth "There is no difference between the both of you, fools!" She then got up and composed herself "Well unfortunately for you, you also don't have any say on this issue,so cha....cha....see you later when you have found your new mate and you are ready to thank me" and she disappeared. Myself and Hunter stared at each other,i really hope Selena didn't do something stupid.

SYDNEY'S POV..........

My name is Sydney Corps and am the daughter of the vampire king (yea I know what you are thinking, am a lucky girl) exactly. You see I don't have much friends in fact I only relate with people of the same social status as myself(you can say am spoilt and proud but it doesn't really freak me). My boyfriend Beck is just like me, his father is my dad's right hand man so you see.....Nothing could ever go wrong in my life, I have everything I could ever wish for. So enough of the description and praising of myself, today was our vampire day, just think of it like your christmas day cause it was the one day in a vampire year where we celebrated the first vampires ever to be created and exist(The Mycotens/Originals). This day was really special to me so i was getting ready when I suddenly felt a hand around my waist, no one was bold enough to do such except Beck.

Totally ignoring him and putting on my earring, I frowned "Who let you in?".

"Your Dad".

"And why didn't you knock before you entered?".

"Come on babe, i thought we were past this issue already".

Successfully putting on my earring, I faced him putting my hands over my chest "no....no....no.....we are not past any issue Beck, what of if I was naked then what would you have done?".

He unlaced my arms that were folded together and kissed me "But you weren't".... "You look beautiful" he suddenly said changing the topic on purpose.

I nodded "I know, what do you expect from me, I am the vampire princess after all".

He rolled his eyes "I thought we have discussed this darling, you have got to drop that pride".

I frowned "Are you just gonna stand there scolding me or are we gonna go downstairs Dad..........".

He chuckled and laced his hands in mine before we left downstairs. When we got there, he left my hands and I walked over to sit with my Dad. My dad faced me and kissed me on my cheeks "You look beautiful dear".

"Thanks Dad".

He stood up and gave his long boring speech on the importance of unity and non discrimination bla..bla...bla...before he blessed the ceremony and sat down "how did I do dear?".

"You did great" I managed a smile even though I did not listen to one single thing he said, you can't blame me I just didn't want to crush his spirits, and so the party began.

A POINT TO NOTE: Vampire parties are not like the normal parties you are used to attending. To prove my point if you ever have a chance to go to a party, plead with your parents to take you to a vampire party because it was simply the best. As everyone was getting on with the groove,we suddenly heard a howl which could only mean one thing.....werewolves.....and that was all it took for the whole party to be scattered. Werewolves and Vampires never really got along for a reason even papa did not know and after Dad killed the Alpha Lord's Luna (he told me he did it to totally save my life but wouldn't give me the details),the situation became worst as now werewolves have made it their top priority to kill every single vampire they came across. well I won't lie, i never hated werewolves infact I think they were kinda cute(forget i ever said that).

As I began running for my life,I suddenly saw dad been grabbed on the neck by a werewolf,I changed my mind and decided to help him but then I was suddenly held back by Beck "And where exactly do you think you are going to?" he asked still blocking my path.

"Am going to save my dad, his been wolf handed"

Beck glanced at the scene and when he turned to face me,his expression had completely changed into one I just couldn't read "I know Sydney but I promised your dad I was going to protect you".

I shook my head and withheld the urge to slap him "I really don't care about your promise to my dad Beck but you don't expect me to just run away while knowing my dad is in danger".

"Your Dad is the king Sydney,he is not new to all this things and is very capable of protecting himself and getting himself out of problems like this but you are not and that is why I have to get you to safety, your safety matters first".

I slapped his hands away when he tried to hold me "You don't understand Beck, my dad is my whole life and am not leaving this place without him".

"I clearly understand but...... What he wanted to say was cut short when I saw claws go right through his stomach, he gasped and his eyes widened as blood dripped from his lips RUN............was the last thing he said before he fell face down to the ground. I was about to run away when I suddenly felt something sharp sting me on my neck and just then everything turned blur.
