Chapter 29

Uncle Robinson was a alpha werewolf. He had been one ever since he was born. His mom was also a wolf, but she fell in love with a total human at the age of nineteen. She knew he was a real human but he didn't know that she was not. They both fell in love with each other and there was nothing to do except allow love lead. They got married when she was twenty two and he was twenty seven, and their first child was Robinson. After a while of living together as couple, about ten years later, he discovered his wife's identity and left her. He left and never returned because he didn't like werewolves but little did he know that he already had her blood in him as well. But he left and never returned to her.

It was his mom who took care of him all alone. His mom was mated to another wolf but he didn't want her. When it was time for Robinson to be mated, his own mate didn't want him too. He was sad for many years because they all didn't want him. Even Anita, his final mate didn't want him. And surprisingly, Robinson had always protected me from harm, without me knowing. I saw how he followed me down to the underground room and stood behind me. I saw how he signalled to the older man to return me to the spot he kidnapped me from. I saw how much of my pain he had borne. I didn't even realize until then that the cut on my ankle as a result of the razor that had cut it when I was shaving cleared as soon as I put the plaster. I didn't take note. The injury did not see the light of the second day.

It all didn't make sense. I saw a lot of things that happened in his past but he didn't give me access to his future.

The werewolf world was fascinating but could be painful to watch at times. I realized that Joe was an Omega werewolf and so he's lived with Robinson all his life. Omega werewolves are not as strong as alphas and they are not allowed into some meetings, and also, they're prone to attacks if they're not yet mated. Until they're mated, they're not totally immune. They could get badly injured or at the worst, killed. So, Joe had to stay with Robinson and that was why they were so close. But Robinson was not the first man to adopt him as a son.

. According to the story, Joe's parents died in a war, and so, a man who was totally human took him up as his son. The Man was not known in the land, he was a poor, infamous farmer who also made local medicine from plants, and that was what he made everyone believe him to be.

He was such a easygoing man with good reports but he was wretched. Even though he was poor and had no family, when he found Joe that night in the orphanage , severely injured and near death, he adopted him.

He became his foster father. Joe's parents were both Omegas, Joe's father was an Omega werewolf, and Joe's mother was half human, half wolf just because she got married to a Werewolf. Both of them were intertwined. When Joe's mother wanted to birth him, she had too much labour pains, she was in labour for two days. She instructed her doctor to alert her husband who was away to another city. Initially she didn't want to alert him because he was preparing for war with the Vampires, and she needed him to focus because she was also in full support of the war.

She in fact made a covenant with her husband to train their son to conquer the vampire world when he grew up . The Vampires were trying to take over the supernatural world and render the werewolves useless, and subdue them because they knew they were immortal but werewolves weren't all that immortal.

Their aim was to catch more humans than werewolves did, because they felt like werewolves were pompous and assumed rulership of the supernatural world. Her husband was meeting with the other wolves to discuss how to win the war, and so she didn't want to disturb him.

But, after two days that she was struggling with labour, she sent for him. He returned that same day, told her that he already smelt her blood from where he was, but he was too occupied to bother, and that he was glad she sent for her. He then drew her pain into himself. Few minutes after he withdrew her pain, she put to bed. The preparation for war with the Vampires started before Joe was born. Both couple dared fighting with another set of supernaturals called the Vampires.

The war led to their death. They suffered so many injuries and could not heal for many months. Joe was still little when it happened. He was there when Vampire Liger tore his parents' flesh into pieces, and he was also severely injured, but they did not die immediately.

They were in pain for sixteen months, trying several treatments and undergoing several operations, but the injuries the vampire war conferred on them was fatal and went deep into their internal organs. They did not heal all the while they were there and after sixteen months, they eventually died, leaving their baby alone in the world.

Their baby, Joe was thrown into the forest in the heat of the warfare, he was badly injured and scarred. He in fact lost two toes and his forehead was severed.

He was first adopted by a chimp who nurtured his wounds for three months and clothed him with huge leaves before he was finally collected by some human guides. They took him to an hospital first where he was attended to. His injuries were bound and he was placed on drips and drugs and then he was later transferred to an orphanage home where he was given first hand home service treatment. His injuries did not heal.

I watched every scene in my mind and emotions spread on my face as I did. The man who first adopted him from the orphanage was called Silvanus. It took him three months to convince the orphanage home that he was capable of taking care of the lad. He had no kids of his own, and he had always wanted a son to call his own. He nurtured Joe and took care of his injuries with local medicine and also took him to hospitals with all his savings but nothing was helping. He therefore withdrew him from the hospital and left him in his little home under close watch.

This man, Silvanus actually had a shady job and he was actually rich but he kept this reality from everyone for reasons best known to him. He was a human trafficker. In his home where he lived with the baby, there were several other kids there, maimed. It was an underground house and it was cold, dark and looked uninhabitable. He worked alongside another trafficker called Martinez. They both caught helpless kids and trapped them in the underground house, starving them, raping them and ripping them of their clothes and properties. They take care of the males to make them strong enough to work on the farm and do some other hard labour like digging up gold, tilling the soil and planting marijuana but the females were fed very little food, raped and tortured. They were captured and whenever their ransom was paid, they sent those kids away but most of the kids didn't get their ransom paid because the pay was high and their parents couldn't afford it. It was hard to find them out.

Silvanus never showed any hint of his real personality. He was the worst hideous kidnapper ever, he changed his appearance everyday and hid every trace of evidence but he had no idea that he had taken the wrong prey this time; a werewolf baby. Robinson who was an alpha also joined in the war with the vampires but he healed himself in few days, but he learnt that his friends died in the war, and he also knew they had a child. He began to hunt for the child. He smelt him from afar and traced him to an underground room, where he pretended to be part of the force of traffickers. He wore their uniform, spoke their language and possessed one of the workers. At that time, Joe was already grown and already working with Silvanus, and some of the captured kids were dead. It was that same day I was kidnapped by him, this same man called Silvanus. But I wasn't shown if he was a human or a wolf or both.

Robinson actually went to the underground room in disguise in order to save both Joe and I, because he was empathetic and because we were mated to each other(Joe and I) And he was successful with it.

I opened my eyes and looked around my room. It was midnight. I silently mumbled some prayers to heaven that the revelation of what I needed to do to save my sister from experiencing that bad future would be shown me because i needed to act fast. I didn't know how I got to my room. The last thing i remembered was the wolf's claws digging into the nape of my neck and i could still feel the mark on my neck, But now, I knew many more things than I knew earlier. Thoughts about the memories transfered to me by the alpha began to surface in my mind again.

Uncle Robinson had not granted me my request, rather he showed me who he actually was. He killed humans; he was an alpha and it was all normal to him. He decided to show his real self to me possibly because he wanted me to be attracted to him as well.

"Maybe you'd see reason in being mated to me" he had said. See reason in mating with a alpha? Not me. What did I know about werewolves? I was human. Why would a werewolf want me? It was very creepy. I thought maybe there was something that I did not know.

I offended him(Uncle Robinson) many times by viewing him an enemy, disobeying him and avoiding him, and so, i was his supposed enemy but he was attracted to me and wanted me to be his mate. I was supposed to be Joe's mate but he died. Uncle Robinson killed his own mate too. Actually, Anita was not mated to him. Anita was half human, and didn't show her superhuman powers as a werewolf but Uncle Robinson was only naturally attracted to her when he found her out to be a wolf. She had the mark on her skull and even her didn't know she did until her daddy showed her one day. It was the day he revealed to her who she was.

"You're an Omega, Anita. And your greatest ability is in your hearing. Please do not have dealings with vampires or any other who'll harm you. You could get killed.

Stay here with me, and I'll take care of you until you're mated"

He had always been against her going to school. He wanted her to stay home with him so that she'd enjoy his full protection. He had instructed her constantly but her mother was insistent on her daughter going to college and competitions to further her Education. She thought her husband was crazy. Even Anita thought her father was playing a fast one on her by telling her she was a werewolf, he kept instructing her and persuading her to quit school until she was mated, and also avoid vampires, but unknown to him and even her, she was already neck-deep in a relationship with a vampire who loved her so much.

After a while, Anita started to believe in what her father said. Especially as he had shown her her mark which was inscribed on her scalp. She showed her mom too and she was so confused about it. She was so confused and worried that she fought with her father for hiding his identity from her. Anita's father left home. Left her to her fate after his instructions yielded no results. People thought he died. That was what people believed, but he actually left home. He was alive for all that time, until the real war actually began, with the vampires. He was not exactly immortal but Anita knew that he could not die that easily. But then, he lost his life in the war. He must have gone back to his pack, she knew that. But he had really died.

No secret was kept from Anita because she heard everything her parents said in whispers without leaving her room. She heard everything her teachers said in the staff room, even without leaving her classroom. She heard every gossip her classmates made, she heard everything you plotted in your mind against her.

She had always been confused about these super abilities of hers- Coupled with her strong hearing power, she also had so much speed, she ran so fast, she only had to imagine the place she was headed and like lightning, she'd be there in no time, and she could also smell humans and smell suspicions from afar. Her sense of smell was so strong and she could differentiate smells from one another. But her hearing was stronger.

Uncle Robinson wanted to make her strong and totally wolf. He tried to hijack her because she was also mate-less but she didn't want him that much. The whole foundation was wrong, and in the whole wrong process, she had lost her life. She sustained several injuries from her relations with her vampire boyfriend and girlfriends and Uncle Robinson gave her the condition that she had to be his mate so he could help her heal but she refused being his mate. She had always waited to be mated but it seemed she was destined to be alone. She started to date multiple human boyfriends in order to feel loved and wanted. She had three boyfriends and slept with two of them before she met Robinson personally.

The whole issue all began when she told one of her boyfriends about Uncle Robinson, and when she found out that another of her three boyfriends was a vampire, and not human at all. Her boyfriends were named Johnson, Nick and Andrew. Nick was the vampire.

Nick was Anita's first boyfriend. He was the one who asked her out first. They had met in Dazzling Forts Memorial College, another school in one of the competitions with her school, Enchanting promises hugh school. He was also a brilliant kid and was five years older than she was. In the competition, Anita had been the winner from her school and he had been the winner from his own school as well. They had met on several occasions and after a year or two of knowing her abilities and seeing her perform so well in races and competitions, he asked her out. Anita accepted willingly because he had been her crush for long, and also because she desperately needed to feel loved. She thought he was her mate.

"Finally he has come" she thought. They dated for few months and then he started asking for sex. Anita was uncertain about it but she yielded after several pleas.

On that night,(evening actually, around 6pm), she had gone to Nick's house. And he tried making advances to her, but then Anita discovered that he was a vampire. He kept talking about sucking blood, he was invoking spirits in his room. He was in another room and another realm and was talking very quietly but Anita could hear him.

"Hey Nick, where are you?" She had said as soon as she entered his house but then stopped all of a sudden when she heard Nick's pants and saw in her mind how bloodthirsty he was. He was planning to suck her blood. She immediately took to her heels but was stopped by him before she could reach the door. He knew she was there. He caught her by her hair and pulled her go the bed.

"You're my little wolf. I promise not to hurt you" He said softly while caressing her body. It was so repulsive to her looking at his fangs and eyes.

"I'm not gonna suck your blood, I just wanna make love to you. I love you so much"She gripped his hand and pleaded that she be treated with mercy. Her father did warn her to be careful of vampires and not have any dealings with them. He didn't explain in details why he hated them but he warned her critically not to be intimate with any of them. That's why she had stopped being friends with Vera, the only vampire friend in her class.

"Nick please" she pleaded as his lips grazed her neck softly. He pinned her to the bed with his fangs and then sucked them in. She didn't believe him. He could turn her into a vampire anytime and she didn't want that to happen. She liked him but he liked him more and that was not enough or safe; Her dad and all the other wolves were in war against vampires; she couldn't let herself be mated to them.

"You're gonna enjoy it, watch me, my little wolf" He said tearing her clothes apart with his fangs, and nibbling through her earlobes. She moaned in pleasure and held on to him. She felt like she would push him away the next minute because she had mixed feelings about what was happening.

"Do you feel the pleasure, my little wolf?" He said fondling her breasts with both hands after he had sucked both fangs in

"I'm not your little wolf" she said, not wanting to look him in the face. She could avoid him but she was careful not to get bitten by him. She struggled underneath his weight, she could feel her muscles cramping.

"Then you're what?". He asked, making a short laugh. Then, almost immediately he said that, he was at the window. It happened so fast. He drew the curtains down so quickly to shield the sunlight from coming in, then he returned to her half baked body and rocked her.

"Why did you do that? I can't even see you in this dark" Anita said, trying to get up

"I don't want the sunlight" he said, pushing her back to the bed with so much force that her head had a bump, then his eyes brightened at that moment. "Can you see me now?" He asked. She slowly nodded, wincing in pain.

He tore the rest of her clothes and began to touch her everywhere. After about fifteen minutes of having his field day on her, she got up slowly left his house. That was her first sex experience and she had been so scared that she avoided him after the time. She was transported safely home in a matter of seconds. She suffered lots of injuries because it had not been mutual and that was the last time she spoke to him. She deleted his number and stopped visiting him. But her discovery kept eating her up. She didn't know who to talk to, about her fears. Robinson was pestering her to be his mate. She was all alone all over again, after trying so hard to feel loved. She felt rejected and used instead. So, she told Nick about Robinson.

"Save me from him. He wants to take me away as his mate but I want you, and you only. I what to be your little wolf forever" she said to him, Nick promised that he'd make her a vampire in order to make her immortal and save herself but she had told him she'd think about it, but she didn't have the time to think about it because that was the day she was killed.

"That was the only way I could save myself" Robinson had said to me.

"If she became a vampire, she might end me. But now, I ended her first" he had said.

"Ariana!" Mom's voice jerked me awake 9ut of my subconscious. I was drenched in sweat.

"Mom?"

"Come over here quick" she yelled.

I got up, yawned and trotted downstairs in my pajamas. It was a little past 6pm in the evening and i wondered if it was suppertime already.

Downstairs at the railings, I stopped because there in the living room was an older man, in his twenties talking to mom. Mom looked up and signalled to me to come. I had never seen that young man before in my life, so it was weird that he actually came because of me. I mean, why would mom call me to join them then?

I went there and sat across the living room, from mom and him.

"Hi, mistress" he said making a little bow. I looked at mom, bewildered. She laughed and said he was just being polite. I sighed.

"I came here because I need your help" he mumbled.

"My help?" I thought. "How can a little girl help a man in his twenties?

"Yes. I just need you to do a little research. I'll pay you heavily too"

"Oh what research is that?" I was really curious. Looks like I was getting my first job as a eight on nine year old lass.

"You see? My daughter is capable. I told you" mom said, nudging me. I wondered how much more she had told this stranger.

"You'll be told at the summer camp. I'll be present there. Don't worry, I'll find you" he said, smiling

"But why did you choose me sir?"

"Because you have all the facts. You're fit for this job" he said and slowly got up from his chair in a bid to leave. Mom saw him off and as soon as he was out of sight, mom carried me and span me round the room

"Enough money for the whole year! we're gonna make a fortune from this job" I didn't understand what she was talking about. So I left her there and returned upstairs.

I didn't know what all these were all about until I found out at the camp.
