Preparing for Dark Market Auction

  Thanks to his greater stamina, Ryker woke up first. He decided to wait until both of them woke up before taking a bath. Soon, Ina woke up, followed by Era, the two having trouble moving their bodies as the exhaustion is still present.

  Ryker carried them both to the bathroom, before helping them clean up, the two letting their lovers take care of them. Even if his hands do linger in certain places. Nonetheless, they exited the bathroom without doing the deed, Ryker not wanting to waste time as he had to wake up his siblings.

  Because both Ina and Era had trouble walking, the limp would leave some questions to his siblings as they had no known injuries before, he decided to get the inn to send him some breakfast to his room, a service he never used before, mostly because the price is morbidly overpriced.

  Still, he had no desire to get out of the room with Ina and Era, so he had to resort to it. Having food sent to their room does leave him some time to take care of his siblings, playing with them as they waited for their food, Ina and Era watching from the couch as they recover, cultivators do have greater recovery compared to regular mortals.

  Soon, they heard a knock on the door. Ryker opened it to see an inn staff pushing a trolley filled with their food. After paying for it, the family began to it, and the food tasted good. The table remained silent before Esran broke it.

  "Does Era become our big sister too?" he asked, making the three young adults almost choke on their food. 

  Coughing slightly to clear his throat, Ryker asked, "What do you mean?" the spectacle boy gave him a 'Do you think I'm dumb' look.

  He sighed, his little brother was too perspective for his own good, "Yes, Era become your big sister," he answered the boy's question.

  Suddenly, a cacophony of sounds came from the children, all asking when she became their big sister, can she could play with them, and similar questions. Era, overwhelmed by the enthusiastic children tried to hold her own but failed. 

  It took the two other older people's intervention before the children finally stopped asking. Still, they looked excited at the prospect of having more big sister, making Ryker have some serious concern for his future.

  Ina looked at him, smiling at him, one that left a sense of foreboding in him. "Remembered the Dark Market, one that's planning an auction, with the main attraction being a female slave. If we bid for her and win, they will get another big sister,"

  "You really going for this harem plan of yours, huh," Ryker commented, making the brown-haired woman nod.

  "Even with Era helping me, we still cannot compare to your stamina. We want to satisfy your urges if we can. To do so, having more people join it would be the best. Of course, one that joined should have feelings for you, or you have feelings for them. 

  Getting the slave would add an extra helper. Plus, if she falls for you, it will be better for us," she answered him.

  Ryker sighed, better to follow the plan, besides having done it with two beauties is satisfying. Having more joining his so-called harem is slowly becoming a more appealing idea. He wonders why he insists on having Ina alone before remembering the only relationship he sees is between his parents, who dearly love each other.

  Seeing them for almost his entire life makes him wish to have something like that. However, from the look of things, the only reason his parents were able to remain together was because of their strength. If his father is stronger by a huge margin, he might have to take other lovers or concubines to satiate his desire and vice-versa.

  "In that case, we going to bid for her but we will not do it with the money we actually have. Plus, if she decides to not join, she will remain as a servant to take care of the children," Ryker declared, making Ina nod.

  It's already the first day of the week and the auction will be on the 4th day of the week so we better secure more funds," Ryker said, Ina quickly thought of something.

  "How about we have Era joined as an adventurer too? While she was still weak now, with some resources and a bit of dual cultivation, her cultivation realm could rise to the 6th Stage," she proposed, Ryker thinking it before nodding, the idea seemed feasible.

  "With me doing the harder but paid harder job, and you taking some other missions, we could get more money for the auction, plus gathering more materials to be sold to the store," he said out loud, a plan already forming in his head.

  "We should go in rotation, both I and you will take missions for today. The next day will be you and Era, and so on," "I have to go outside every day?" he complained, Ina, looking at him, calmly saying, "Yes, because you are the reason we considered to have decent financial power."

Ryker has to concede, the mission he took being the highest paying one while Ina only dealt with some bandits and Genesis Beast. It's unfortunate but Ina hadn't shown her true potential.

  Still, they have to get more money if they want to buy the slave, so he better step up his game. 

  "In that case, tell Era about the plan and we could form a real one to get the most money in the next four days," he told her, several plans already formed in his mind.

  Soon, a schedule for the next four days was created. They would have breakfast before one of them would be led behind to watch over the children. Then, the pair would go into the Adventurer Guild, before taking missions.

Ryker will take the hardest missions but finish them the fastest before any of the women, the time he spends while waiting for them to finish is either going hunting for any Genesis beast in the area or gathering useful materials.

  Because of his strength, he could handle them easily with the exception of Genesis 3rd Grade and above. After that, they will return, saying they finished the mission before getting the rewards. They would then take another mission before heading out once more.

  By the time they finished their second mission, it was already dusk. They returned quickly before claiming their rewards and went to the store, selling more items to the manager, who looked like they were gods.

  This is the routine they set for the next few days, until the day of the Dark Market auction, where they would see if they had enough to buy the slave.
