Manager of Elkom Auction House

The booming voice caused his aura to dissipate. Ryker could tell the voice belonged to a Noble expert, one that was behind the Elkom Auction House.

"Manager!" the portly man exclaimed, looking in delight as his savior had arrived.

"I asked, what happened here?" the chilly tone came out of a beautiful woman with long brown hair, braided at the end. She wore a beautiful red dress, with intricate jewelry sewn into the dress. The woman looked like she was in her twenties, though her real age should be a lot older.

"It's like this manager..." the portly man began to spin an outrageous lie, trying to put all the blame on him.

"And that is what happened," the portly man, portraying himself as the victim. If he was not involved, he would have applauded the man for his excellent acting.

"So, do you have anything to say," a chilly gaze ran through his body, but Ryker remained standing, making the woman look at him in interest.

Ryker did not say anything and merely took out a recording crystal he had prepared beforehand. A moving image of what happened soon appeared on the screen, where everything that had happened where shown.

The portly man and the younger man looked at the screen in fear before the younger man tried to stop it, "Dont believe this manager, it's a tri-" the man was slapped by the manager, which sent him flying into a nearby wall, creating a new hole there.

"Be quiet, I will accept the testimony of both parties. So, don't stop the video," the stern instruction caused the portly man to look at his feet, fearing for his life.

Ryker merely sneered inside his head, 'That is what you get for trying to cheat me,'

After the video was finished, the angry gaze turned towards the two men. While the portly man resigned to his fate, the younger man tried to shift all blame to the portly man.

"You see mana-" unfortunately for him, the woman did not want to hear it, slapping him and causing the younger man to lose some teeth in the process.

"I don't want to hear anything else from the two of you. Take him away and lock yourself in your office. I will see to your punishment after I am all done with talking with this young man," the manager told the portly man, who merely nodded in dejection before carrying the younger man out of the room.

"I apologize for the action of my subordinates," the woman then bowed toward him, making him jump in surprise.

"Miss Manager, you don't have to do that," he said to the woman, who finally lifted her head.

"It is necessary to prove my sincerity. While there is trickery in business, most of it is done on the premise of sincerity and honesty. If not, there will be no people that want to do business with those that cheat and lie to others," the woman told him.

Ryker merely nodded. He is not interested in business itself but he is interested in making money.

"Let me see the goods," the manager said. Ryker took out the Spirit Giant Tiger Skin, having stored it before suppressing the two people.

"Hhmm, it is a genuine good but comes from an aged Spirit Giant Tiger. If I am not wrong, the beast in question must have reached the end of its lifespan," the manager guessed.

"Yes, you are correct," he could not help but be impressed by how she could tell such little details.

"Don't look surprised," his thought must have shown on his face, "after all, I have seen countless treasures as the manager of the Elkom Capital City's biggest auction house. I could tell a lot with a mere glance,"

"Then I would like Miss Manag-" my name is Sophia," then I must ask Manager Sophia to look at the rest of the treasure I have brought,"

Sophia watched with wide eyes as Ryker took out more parts of the Spirit Giant Tiger. Though the value might not be as much as the skin, it is still a valuable item.

"All of these, they belonged to the same Spirit Beast?" the brown-haired manager asked. Ryker nodded, and the manager hummed in contemplation.

"Aside from the bones, they all can be auctioned, but the prize would be lower than the skin," Sophia told him.

"As for the bones, it will not be worth it to auction it. It is much better to powder it and then sell it at the store. Naturally, we will pay for it," Ryker gave a thoughtful nod at the suggestion.

"And there is more," Ryker then took out the second-most prized material, one that is not related to the Spirit Giant Tiger. The manager's eyes went wide open again as she watched Ryker take out several plumes and bone platings.

"This is," the manager grabbed the plume of the Alpha Blood Vulture with interest, "a plume of the leader of Blood Vulture.

"And this," she traced her finger on the bone plating, "should belong to the leader of Bone Devouring Hyena,"

Ryker nodded, confirming the manager of the source of the materials. "This must not be all that you have," the manager narrowed her eyes at Ryker, who merely laughed.

"Here," he said, taking out several vials of blood, "and here," complete skeletons of the two beasts were laid out properly on the floor, as the table is not big enough to hold all of it.

"Looks like my decision to prove my sincerity is the correct one, and my subordinates' action would have made me lose out on a lot of profits," Sophia said, her teeth gritted as she thought of what would happen if she did not investigate what happened first.

"And, there is more," the manager's eyes went wide open for the third time today. "But this place is not suitable enough. Are there any empty storerooms,"

-x-

"T-this," for the first time in a long time, Sophia stuttered. "How did you obtain this much materials!" it has also been a long time since she actually yelled out loud.

"I accidentally caused two clans to fight one another, and well, there are a lot of bodies on the battlefield," Sophia looked at him with twitching eyes at how nonchalantly he said this.

The manager then sighed, "What do you want to do with all these," she asked.

"I plan to sell it at any stores, with the Elkom Auction House as an intermediary," Ryker told her.

"Hhmm, it can be done. The auction house possessed the necessary tools and experts to process the materials first. And then we can sell it to the other. Of course, we need to talk about the price first,"

"Now that is what I like to hear,"
