Argaman Range's Loots

After the exciting night, Ryker woke up feeling satisfied. Though he could still go on for several more hours, he needed to wake up early to go to the Argaman Range, the place that the supervisor told him about.

His plan regarding the expedition is simple. Take a look at the safest range and determine if the energy concentration is enough to make his breakthrough. If it's enough, take a look at his surroundings for any wild beasts. Depending on its strength took the appropriate actions.

If the energy concentration is not enough, head towards another peak. Repeat the process until a suitable place is found. While an energy-dense area would be sufficient, if he could find the densest energy region, he would use it as it would likely push his cultivation directly to the middle stage of Genesis Condensing, or possibly even higher than that.

As he mused, a wave of energy hit him, forcing him to look up. Lo and behold, the mountain range he looking for in its glory. While not as expansive or high as some other ranges, it is definitely the best in terms of energy density.

Looking around for any beast, he climbs up the range, heading towards the first peak to look for a place to a breakthrough.

While he climbed the mountain, a group of people gathered near the ranges though not going any closer.

"He goes to the range from this part?" the young master of the Tres Family asked, the scout he hired nodded.

"Go in a group of two before spreading out. I want every possible way to enter the range under our supervision. However, make sure your communication token can contact others in case of emergency and if there any strong beast in the area, take care of your safety first and run away," he gave a quick briefing, the mercenaries and his people nodding before heading towards every known way to enter the range.

The young master smiled. The young man who claimed his prize would either die from the wild beast or be killed by his own hands. He wondered which one would happen though he preferred it to be the latter.

If Ryker had learned of the young master's plan, he would have laughed. It's one of the things he expected, the young master's pettiness would cause him to seek him when he was at his supposed weakest, or when he was not under the protection of the Adventurer Guild.

The reason he expected such a thing to happen was because he was banking on it. In the chance he found a strong beast and could not escape, he could use one of the young master's men as bait. Besides, when he advanced to the Genesis Condensing realm, he had enough strength to threaten the young master, making him stop trying to attack him. Or that is what he hoped for.

In the end, it all depends on him entering the Genesis Condensing realm and being strong enough to handle the young master's protector. Failing would lead to almost certain death, and a definite continuing harassment, likely even taking the chance when he was leaving Alten City with his family.

The only way to ensure the safety of his family, in the end, is sufficient strength. The reason for this expedition in the first place. As he soon reached the top of the first mountain, he could sense several powerful auras, all belonging to the 4th major realm of Genesis Grand realm.

Thankfully, his concealing ability had become stronger thanks to comprehending the aura of the expert inside the bandit's base. His understanding of both the Law of Darkness and Lore of Concealment allowed him to bypass the beasts without warning them.

Unfortunately, there are no suitable places even with the excessive energy, and too many Genesis 4th Stage Beasts in the vicinity. Any attempt to break though would likely wake those beasts and turn it into an Open Season, with it being Ryker season.

He has to look at the other mountains, then, as this mountain would be his grave if he attempted his breakthrough here. However now that he's here, he should not go empty-handed. This mountain is rich with spirit fruits and herbs, some of them even being Genesis 3rd-grade materials.

It's a waste to leave them like this, he thought to himself, already looking at the various herbs and spirit fruits, going untouched because of the Genesis 4th Stage Beasts in the area. He smiled, It looked like he would have a great harvest today.

He looked at the spirit fruits and herbs inside his storage rings. He decided to leave about two-thirds of the materials he found. That still meant he had one-third of all the resources in the mountain ranges.

The resources would be enough for him to get to the peak of Genesis Condensing realm and still left him with about half of the resources he had gathered in the first mountain.

He had wanted to grab some Genesis 4th Grade materials but decided against it when he saw the beasts guarding those natural treasures. He had to be satisfied with Genesis Grade 3 materials for now.

If others learned that he felt bad about having only Genesis Grade 3 materials, they would have shanked him, while others never even held one before, he had nearly several piles of those in his storage rings

He looked to the sky, frowning as the sun had almost touched the ground, darkness slowly claiming the area. He frowned before deciding to continue, the night would be a great help.

As he looked towards the next mountain, planning his route, he wondered if he had to go to the final mountain, where a powerful aura that could send shiver to even the most experienced adventurer resided.

He looked to the other mountains, surely one of them had what he needed to attempt his breakthrough, right?

His parents had once said something about if you said it cannot get worse or you don't have to do something terrible, then it will get worse and you need to do something terrible. He forgot what it was called but it, unfortunately, happened to him.

He had gone to the other three mountains and grabbed tons of resources while still leaving most of it, but still no suitable place to attempt his breakthrough. Either the energy density is rich enough but there are Genesis 4th Stage Beasts or there are no powerful beasts but the energy density is not enough.

As he looked at the last mountain, he let out a weary sigh, the height of the mountain seemed to be looming on him.

"Sorry, Ina, Era, Miriam, looks like I have to take the dangerous route," he said to himself, gazing at the peak resolutely before taking the first step to climb the most dangerous mountains in the Argaman Range
