/Ja'ems dreams (Flashback)/
I don't know how long has passed since Obsidian betrayed me. I don't care if it was for my own safety or whatever reason he had, he betrayed my trust. The funny thing is I can't even blame him, after all he was raised to be my shield hence the name Obsidian, one of the strongest raw materials on what was once our planet. It's not as strong as adamantium or vibranium but the black crystal-like material is almost as strong and channels turbo energy like iron restrains fairies.
I drifted through space with only Steel and Zeta for company. Occasionally I would go do the usual superhero in space stuff, fight a Kree invasion, use the energy sight granted by the Ma'ex Stel transformation to eliminate a Skrull here and there and looking for any remnants of the evacuation of the ship. I didn't send a beacon into space due to the unwanted attention that would attract, thus I had to personally look for any Takonian survivors.
Then I ran into him J'son of Spartax, a prince around my age on a journey to gather more power to help protect his planet from the Badoons and their other enemies. As we interacted, I realized he was actually a pretty great guy. This led me to believe that the reason he became such an ass in the future was due to the pressure of being a king.
We had so much fun together, antagonizing the Kree empire as well as the Sh'iar and other such groups. They deserved it they were arseholes, plus they kidnapped some of my people. For most of those fights, I got by using the base form of my transformation while he finally developed an element blaster in his style from the pieces he had, just like every other prince who became king in his family. That was until we ended up on Asgard.
I'm not sure exactly what happened on that planet, but he changed just a little bit, became more aggressive and arrogant. I believed it to be due to us successfully stealing the cosmic seed. Him for the power it could lead to, you see he believed he could use the seed to grow a plant that would allow him and his descendants to directly control the elements, I wanted to study the seed and see if I could grow a TURBO tree or something similar.
Later on, when we landed on earth in our early twenties, I found what caused his change. It was one of Ego's seeds, specifically the one on Asgard. It bonded with him just like it bonded with my race during our initial evolution stage, he however didn't have an energy form to combat Ego's takeover or the help of celestial entities. So, I decided to help him get one, after all I couldn't have my friend transform into an avatar of Ego without realizing.
Taking an energem without a trait I scoured the planet for something suitable to bond it with. During this period, I met Molly and Forge, I also became friends with an innovative man by the name of Miles Dredd. Together we formed N-Tek, a secret organisation whose goal was to protect the planet from Makino, because sooner or later he would set his sight on earth and when he does, I will be ready.
Finally, I found what I was looking for, in fact I found more than what I needed. I found the grave of dragons hidden in a subspace accessible through the dragon's triangle. Entering the grave, I was assaulted by the aura and remnant souls of the dead dragons although once I explained my purpose and the benefit of the energem bonding they agreed. I thus found myself with a couple hundred energems with dragons of all types engraved on them, their colours and engraved patterns matching those of their unique scales.
Rushing to meet my friend whom aside from finding love in a woman named Meredith Quill killed off any Skrull infiltrators he found using my soul detector. A device I made derived from technology that was initially used to show a Takonians TURBO energy without them using it.
It works by showing the energy and form of one's soul. I placed the energems containing the power and trait of those dragons which were capable of controlling multiple elements before him, their souls now part of the grid and thus becoming stronger as well as giving them a chance to be reborn.
The energems with the strongest reaction was the one bonded to the mother of chromatic dragons and the platinum dragon, Tiamat and Bahamut. Honestly not knowing why, I decided to instead siphon energy from both into another neutral energem the excuse I gave myself being both those beings are points on opposite extremes I didn't feel would be conductive to fighting Ego's influence as even if successful he wouldn't really be himself anymore.
I gave him this energem instead and we went into space again. We fought the Kree this time although they were more powerful and prepared so were we. J'son with his super strength and ability to survive in space alongside his direct control over the elements making him seem like the avatar and sage of six paths combined, a veritable dragon in combat. Me with my improved armour, N'Baro using his scans of the dead dragons to further refine our armour and improve our dragon series transformations, what? dragons are cool.
And then it was 1980 the 4th of February, we came back to earth a year ago and this time decided to stay longer. We were in our mid twenties and there was an alignment of all the stars in the universe, not the nine realms but the stars. J'sons son had been born and I was in the process of developing Connect-Tek, then suddenly J'son disappeared the only thing he left behind the parts for an element blaster and a message that stated he had to go take the throne due to his father's death.
