"Well? Are you terrified by my incredibly grand identity?"
Kang had no idea that Peter had already mentally labeled him as an arrogant "Kang the Doomed."
Feeling smug, Kang looked at Peter, expecting to see a look of shock and fear on his face.
However, Kang was destined to be disappointed. Peter showed no fear or even the slightest reaction to Kang's supposed grand identity.
"It's a pity. I'm just a little disappointed. I originally thought the entire Council of Kangs would come in full force together."
"But instead…"
"Damn it, you insignificant insect! How dare you belittle me!"
Kang felt a wave of fury as he noticed the hint of disappointment on Peter's face, sensing that he was being looked down upon.
"You don't understand. Those stubborn, cowardly, and weaklings—they don't even dare to come to this universe and fully conquer it."
"Those people aren't worthy of leading the Council of Kangs!"
"Once I completely conquer this place, I will trample them beneath my feet."
"Just like I will do to ants like you in this universe…"
Enraged by Peter's perceived disdain, Kang roared at him.
"Hmph, I'll make you witness with your own eyes how I destroy everything you have and completely conquer and rule this technologically backward universe!"
Right in front of Peter, Kang began gathering a massive amount of energy again, seemingly preparing to wipe out the space station behind Peter once and for all.
"Oh? So it's because those others are too scared to come here…"
Peter quickly realized why there was only one Kang present in their universe. Apparently, this guy was just a reckless fool.
"So, you still haven't figured out the real reason why your other variants don't dare to come to this universe?"
"Why don't you take a guess? What exactly are they afraid of?"
Peter suddenly flashed a strange smile, his gaze fixed on the oblivious Kang before him.
"What? Could it be that they fear…"
Kang's eyes widened as he stared at Peter, as if he had suddenly realized something, his face filled with disbelief!
…
"Hahaha... This is absolutely ridiculous! You don't even know your own limits, you insignificant insect, and yet you dare to challenge a god!"
However, the look of shock and disbelief on Kang's face only lasted for a brief moment. He quickly broke into a maniacal laugh, as if mocking Peter for his arrogance and overconfidence.
"I'm about to show you just how foolish you truly are!"
With that, Kang's expression turned deadly serious and crazed. Terrifying energy began to rapidly gather within his armor, so powerful that it seemed to warp the gravity and space around him.
The light surrounding him bent and twisted under the force, creating a sense of overwhelming dread.
Yet, despite the immense power Kang was displaying—power that made him seem like a god in control of divine forces—Peter's relaxed expression remained unchanged.
"How disappointing. It seems that you're relying solely on advanced technology to try and become a god..."
Peter had initially been curious about what special abilities this villain, who had defeated the Avengers, might possess.
But now, he realized that Kang was simply using advanced technology to manipulate cosmic energy and unleash energy attacks.
While this might seem god-like to ordinary people, to Peter, it was nothing more than a child swinging a wooden toy sword.
Sizzle!
As Peter remained nonchalant, Kang finally gathered the most powerful energy attack he had ever mustered.
In that moment, he was determined to shatter every ounce of belief and resolve within the pathetic ant before him.
Whoosh!
A terrifying beam of energy shot through the void, not directly aiming at Peter but intending to graze past him and strike the space station behind him.
Kang aimed to destroy the station's defense system and then obliterate it entirely, creating a beautiful explosion in the dark expanse of space.
"Hahaha, you will have the honor of witnessing my first victory in conquering this universe..."
"No, actually, this can't even be called a war, because war implies mutual conflict."
"At this moment, it's nothing more than complete domination by superior power. As the saying goes, the weak will be crushed by the strong!"
Kang unleashed his energy with exhilaration. He was fully confident that this massive energy attack would destroy the space station's seemingly impressive defenses and the entire structure itself.
He could already envision the grand fireworks celebrating his impending conquest of this universe.
"Hmm? Where did he go?"
But suddenly, Kang noticed that the figure in front of him had disappeared without a trace. The next moment, Kang realized that Peter had somehow reappeared right in front of the energy beam that was supposed to pass by him and strike the space station.
"Hah, trying to stop me with your puny strength... Wait, damn it, how is this possible?!"
Kang had assumed that Peter had fled, but instead, Peter had foolishly positioned himself to block the massive energy with his own body.
This filled Kang with scorn, but that expression quickly froze in shock at the unbelievable sight before him.
"No! This can't be happening!"
Kang stared in utter disbelief as the immense energy he had unleashed, capable of destroying a planet, was completely blocked by the very ant he had dismissed.
It was as if an ant had stopped an elephant, something utterly inconceivable. Peter stood calmly before the energy beam, making no elaborate movements, just raising his fist with simple, unremarkable ease.
With a single punch, Peter struck the invisible beam of energy.
In the next instant, it was as if the entire universe froze in time.
Crack!
The energy beam shattered as if it had been frozen by the most extreme cold, and then, with a light punch from Peter, it was smashed into countless tiny fragments!
"No!"
Kang looked on in shock and madness, almost unable to believe the reality unfolding before his eyes!
...
As the energy attack was effortlessly crushed by Peter, his figure reappeared in front of Kang.
"Damn you, what did you do?" Kang unleashed his intense anger and frustration towards Peter.
"It seems the one who's overestimating their abilities... is actually you," Peter's expression gradually turned cold as he lost all patience with the doomed Kang before him.
"Fuck, you insignificant insect! What gives you the right to lecture me? I am the greatest in all timelines and the universe..."
Kang couldn't accept the reality, his face twisted with rage and frustration, pushing him to the brink of madness.
"Stop flattering yourself and ruining the word 'great'..."
"You have no idea that you're just an ordinary variant, not much stronger than the one they call 'Loser Kang' in our universe!"
After delivering a statement that left Kang both confused and furious, Peter prepared to deal with the Kang who had come all this way only to meet his demise.
"Hahaha, you primitive fool! You don't understand the power of technology!" Kang suddenly stopped being angry and started laughing again, as if everything was under his control.
"Let me show you the power of the spatial matrix." With an expression of arrogance and control, Kang slowly raised his arms in an embracing gesture, his face full of arrogance.
Buzz!
Suddenly, the matrix device that Kang had released at the beginning, which had enveloped everything around the space station, began to emit a massive tremor.
With the vibrations, the yellow energy matrix shone even brighter, becoming more solid, and its size started to shrink continuously.
"This is a spatial matrix, also known as a time cage. As the name implies, even if you possess the power to traverse time and space, you won't be able to escape this cage. Ultimately, you'll be crushed into a pulp by the ever-shrinking space."
"Don't bother resisting or trying to escape because you can't break free from this powerful spatial cage, hahaha..."
"I can't wait to see how you beg for mercy before you're completely compressed into a bloody pulp..."
At that moment, Kang's face once again showed extreme madness and brutality, as if he could already envision Peter groveling for mercy before being crushed.
"Oh? So confident?" Peter looked at the constantly vibrating and shrinking yellow energy matrix with interest, his expression unchanged.
This type of matrix wasn't unfamiliar to Peter, as he had seen similar devices at the Time Variance Authority. It was likely one of the advanced technologies Kang had mastered.
"Of course, this matrix is even stronger than the barriers of some universes," Kang said smugly, confident in his impending victory and not caring about sharing his knowledge with Peter.
"Oh? Only comparable to the barriers of a universe?" Peter seemed unimpressed by the matrix's strength.
"Hmph, do you even know what a cosmic barrier is? It's so strong that even I struggle to break it from the inside!" Kang looked at Peter with disdain, as if he were a clueless bumpkin. A cosmic barrier wasn't something that could be easily broken.
"Heh, then I can only say, 'you need more practice, rookie...'"
"What?" Kang was baffled, but he knew he'd been mocked again.
"Alright, it seems I've been too kind to you!" Kang's face twisted into a sinister grin as he directly manipulated the control device on his armored arm.
Buzz, buzz, buzz!
In an instant, the spatial matrix began to shrink at an accelerated pace. Within moments, the yellow energy walls had compressed to the point where they were right in front of Peter.
"Hahaha, even if you beg now, I won't spare you..."
Boom... Crack!
Before Kang could finish his sentence, Peter had already raised his fist and struck the yellow spatial matrix. Though the punch seemed light, it directly shattered the spatial matrix, which was as solid as a cosmic barrier.
"No, this is impossible!" At that moment, Kang's smug expression turned to one of utter disbelief. He couldn't fathom how someone could shatter the spatial matrix he had constructed with a single punch.
"Fuck, no wonder those arrogant bastards don't dare come to this universe. It's because of you!"
In that moment, Kang, though not very clever, finally understood why the other Kang variants had avoided this universe—it was because of Peter's presence.
"Damn it, that treacherous bastard tricked me. Unforgivable!"
"Hmph, but it doesn't matter. When I return next time, I'll conquer your entire universe..."
Shocked by Peter's power and knowing he couldn't defeat him, Kang didn't hesitate to activate his technology to escape from this universe and timeline.
"What's going on? Why isn't my time travel device working?" But after a moment, Kang realized he hadn't successfully left this universe or timeline, as if the device had lost its function.
"It's you! It must be your doing!" Kang's gaze suddenly fixed on Peter, pointing at him in fury.
"Not too slow on the uptake," Peter chuckled softly. He slowly raised his right hand and snapped his fingers with a "snap."
In an instant, a golden cubic energy matrix appeared around Kang, completely trapping him.
"A time cage? Impossible! How do you know this technology?" Kang's face was filled with disbelief as he looked at the golden energy matrix surrounding him, trapping him like a cage.
"No! Don't do this! I can share my advanced knowledge with you, help your universe's Earth advance its technology rapidly!"
Kang, realizing the terrifying fate that awaited him within the time cage, was overwhelmed with fear and immediately began begging Peter for mercy.
"Sorry, you don't get that chance," Peter replied as he snapped his fingers again. The golden cage began to rapidly compress towards the center. The incredibly solid energy walls closed in quickly, leaving Kang less and less space to survive.
"No!" Kang, filled with terror, unleashed all his power in a desperate attempt to break the cage. But it was futile—if he couldn't even break his own spatial matrix, how could he possibly break the one Peter had created?
Crack!
Gradually, as the space compressed, Kang's body was forced into an agonizingly twisted position. His armor began to crack, and his bones started to break.
"No, please! Let me go! I'll give you everything I have... I know a secret, and I also know the location of the Council of Kangs, your true opponents..."
As his space continued to shrink and his body was crushed, Kang was overwhelmed with fear. He didn't hesitate to betray the other members of the Council of Kangs.
"Sorry, that might be useful to me, but I don't need to spare you to get it!" Peter snapped his fingers once more, and the space matrix instantly silenced Kang's voice.
Peter had no interest in watching someone die in agony, and even if Kang died, he could still retrieve all of Kang's memories.
"No!" With a final, silent scream filled with despair, Kang's open mouth was forcibly closed by the rapidly shrinking space, and his life was completely extinguished. His body was crushed into a bloody pulp.
"Disgusting as always," Peter said, casually waving his hand. The space cage, along with the grotesque remains of Kang, vanished.
And so, the once-arrogant Kang met his gruesome end by his own brutal means.
"Oh, no wonder that guy dared to come to our universe—he got tricked!"
With Kang's death, Peter also gained access to all of his memories.
