[Stark Mansion: 03/05/1939 08:00AM]
In a room of immense size, with several expensive children's-themed furniture, but with several books spread out of the most varied types, from children's stories to books on basic mechanics.
On the double bed that was close to the windows so that the sun could shine, there was a small pile of blankets.
*Knock, Knock*
Two knocks and the doors opened, revealing the mansion's head butler Jarvis walked in unceremoniously, walked elegantly towards the bed and removed the correctors to reveal a five year old boy with messy black hair.
"URGH!! someone turn off the sun!!" The boy screamed as he hid from the beams of light from the window.
"Boss Antony please, most boys of your age would be jumping on their parents' beds on their birthdays." Jarvis said as he took the boy out of bed and sublimely arranged all the blankets.
"I know but....I feel like I shouldn't go into their room for a reason." Tony said rubbing his eyes, wearing a loose red shirt and sweatpants with socks on his feet.
"*Sigh* Maybe you made the best decision, Boss Howard is busy with a meeting in New York and it's likely to take a while, but your mother promised she would be home at six in the afternoon." Jarvis said pushing the young heir.
Jarvis helped Tony dress appropriately, choosing a white shirt and a pair of jeans. As they walked down the marble staircase of the mansion, Tony looked around curiously, his eyes shining with the sunlight that came through the huge windows.
'It's always curious to remember that all of this was fiction in my previous life, including this efficient Butler in his work.' Tony thought as he walked alongside Jarvis.
Many thought that Tony was just a normal five-year-old boy, intelligent beyond the curve, but he was expected knowing who is his father was , and was not seen with much strangeness.
But what they didn't know was that Tony had an advantage, he had the memories of a mechanic from a world where individuals like Howard Stark, Jarvis or even his beloved mother Maria were nothing more than fiction.
'I was never the biggest fan of Marvel, nor of heroes in general, I didn't have much time for that and generally I read Batman or Spider-Man and nothing much outside of the films.' Tony thought.
'All I know about Tony is that he's Iron Man, he's a rich hero, and super genius, no seriously, I was a smart guy in my previous life, but Tony's brain works in another category.'
Soon they arrived at the dining room, where a sumptuous meal awaited them. The table was filled with fresh fruit, freshly baked bread, eggs and orange juice. Tony sat down and started eating, although he was still a little drowsy.
'Even though I don't know much about him, I think it's pretty cool to live the life of a rich kid.' Tony thought smiling as he ate his breakfast.
'But even so, I miss having things to do a little, I was reborn in the 30s and I honestly want to punch those who kept saying they wanted to live at that time in the face.' Tony thought, frowning.
'No, seriously, what idiot wants to live as middle or lower class in the 30s? People are fighting every day to survive, in short? , life is not a vintage refrigerator commercial unless you are rich.' Tony thought while munching on a croissant.
"Jarvis, do you think my dad will remember my birthday?" Tony asked, between one bite of toast and another.
'He's not exactly cool with me, I remember the times when he took me to the workshop and let me watch him work on his cars and other inventions, it was fun, but... these last few months he's been very distant .' Tony thought to himself noticing his father's changes.
Jarvis next looked into the big brown eyes of his friend's young son, and sighed.
"I'm sure so, young master. He's a very busy man, but that doesn't mean he doesn't think about you. And don't forget, your mother will be here later to celebrate with you." Jarvis replied, trying to comfort it.
After breakfast, Jarvis took Tony to the mansion's great hall, where there was a space where toys and children's books would be placed. Tony, however, seemed more interested in the books on mechanics and machine parts.
From an early age he was always very good with them, assembling and disassembling his toys, going on to more complex things like watches and radios, soon his parents simply decided that he was ahead of the other children and gave him that space.
"Good, now it's time to get back to work." Tony said as he gathered the books he wanted, opening them all showing that they were full of notes.
'When you have Tony's intellectual capacity, even at five years old you can't stop, and with my memories? , it was impossible to stand still, I would see my name written in this world as the greatest genius that ever existed, but to do that I must work on the invention for which Tony would be best known.' Tony thought with a smile as he grabbed several papers and his pens.
—Prometheus Project—
'That was the name I gave to the project, it basically consisted of the Arc Reactor, it came to me when I realized that my father hadn't invented it yet, and it probably wouldn't be created in many years, but I needed to keep it a secret for while, as the plan was to replace nuclear and oil and gas powered around the world.' Tony recalled his plans.
'I may not be alive to see it, but I don't want people in the future to live in a ball of poisonous, radioactive gas or in a world with climate crises day in and day out.' Tony thought as he remembered the problems that existed in his reality.
"Well come on, the future doesn't write itself." Tony said with a childish smile.
The reactor assembly project was 13% complete in the current period.

[Savoy Tower Manhattan Center: 07:34PM]
Far from the state of California and in the center of Manhattan, a luxurious hotel twenty meters high cut through the sky, the Savoy Hotel Tower was one of the most visited spots in the city, it screamed luxury.
In one of the presidential suites, Howard Stark was sitting in one of the seats at a huge table, with several other individuals sitting, all wearing expensive suits.
The man sitting in the largest seat exuded an aura of authority and sophistication. He was in his mid-thirties, with black hair impeccably combed back, without a strand out of place. His face was marked by aristocratic features, with a square chin and prominent cheekbones. His eyes were a deep, intense blue, carrying an expression of calculated serenity.
He wore a perfectly tailored suit, made from the finest Italian fabric. The black suit jacket had a classic cut, with subtle satin details on the lapels. The crisp white shirt contrasted with the red silk tie, which featured an impeccable Windsor knot. In his jacket pocket, a white handkerchief folded with precision. Her black leather shoes shined, reflecting the soft light of the suite.
The golden cufflinks on his wrists glittered discreetly every time he moved his hands, gesturing with the naturalness of someone accustomed to power and leadership. His upright posture and the way he held the gaze of every person in the room conveyed an unwavering confidence, making it clear that he was used to commanding.
"Bene, bene, bene, signori, I believe it's time to discuss the elephant in the room." The man sitting in the biggest seat said looking at everyone at the table.
He was a man wearing a suit
"Howard my friend, how are things going with the project Rebirth?" The man asked, directing all attention to Howard who had a glass of whiskey on his lips.
The businessman took his time enjoying the taste of the drink. Howard placed the glass of whiskey on the table with a deliberate gesture, letting the amber liquid settle as he looked calmly at the man in the largest seat.
"Well, Luchino, the Project Rebirth is moving forward, albeit gradually." Howard said, his voice firm.
"General Phillips and Dr. Erskine are working tirelessly to overcome the challenges. Progress is being made, although it is a path that requires patience and precision."
He paused briefly, allowing his words to resonate throughout the room before continuing.
"We're dealing with cutting-edge science and unprecedented innovation here folks, the American government is investing a lot of money into this. Every step needs to be meticulously calculated to ensure ultimate success or heads will roll." Howard continued, that last sentence with a cold expression.
"But I can assure you that everyone involved is committed and determined to achieve the goals set." Howard folded his hands on the table, his gaze remaining fixed on the man who had asked the question.
"Bene molto bene, that's good to hear because it would be very sad to have to take away all your company's funding to offset the expenses that our small group here has borne over the years." Luchino replied smiling.
"And none of us want that, do we? Keep keeping us informed, dear 'Futurist' let's close for today, I'm sure your family awaits you with great anxiety." Luchino said, standing up and giving Howard a smile.
Howard didn't respond or even show any reaction to the mention of his family, but without anyone knowing, his heart beat faster and the air went out of his lungs for a second.
Leaving the hotel, Howard took a deep breath as he got into the car, thinking deeply about various topics, until he stopped at the face of his wife and his son, his son who was now celebrating his fifth birthday without his father.
"*Sigh* Better to go somewhere and buy something, Tony's not that interested in toys but it's better than nothing." Howard said as he rested his face in his hands.
I have to admit, I'm having a lot of fun writing this.
Question for you, do you think Marvel should try a comic book reboot? Example DC comics with Crisis on Infinite Earths and Flashpoint?
