Chapter 264: Accidental Discovery

In the Extreme Speed Force tunnel, Jack raced forward at incredible speed.

Around him, streaks of light rushed away at the speed of light, creating an endless tunnel.

In the tunnel, various images and strange sounds flashed by.

These were projections of other universes. These universes would pull in anyone who slowed down.

Jack didn't pay much attention to them.

Although the images from these universes were interesting, he was in a hurry to see his wife and had no time for these useless things.

After running for a while, he could finally see where he was going.

He even saw Diana's projection in the distance.

"Is this the place?"

A road was built on the side of a mountain, surrounded by thick trees. The leaves made it hard for the sun to get through, giving the road a strange feeling.

Based on how many leaves were on the road, it looked like less than ten cars had been through this area in the past month.

It looked like a road that had been abandoned.

But what was strange was that Jack, who was standing in the middle of the road, had a strange sense of being at home.

He felt that everything around him was familiar, as if... he had been here before.

He often had this feeling before, but he hadn't paid much attention to it since he had experienced similar sensations in his previous life as well.

No one was there. Apart from her and the taxi, there was no one else on the entire street.

But the feeling of being uneasy got worse.

Kara didn't know what was happening.

She wanted to figure out the source of this feeling, but when she checked the time and thought about Alex waiting for her, she decided not to delay any longer and got into the taxi.

Just as the car disappeared from the street, a figure appeared from the other side of the CatCo Worldwide Media building.

It was none other than Jack.

"CatCo International Media?"

Jack looked at the big sign on top of the building and rubbed his chin as he thought about it.

Ever since he arrived in the city, everything felt familiar to him, even the taste of the sandwich from the corner cafe's sign made him feel like he had eaten it somewhere before.

Although the sandwich didn't taste great, it strangely gave him a sense of calm.

As he walked around, Jack grew even more confused. The name of this company... sounded very familiar.

He looked at the time and saw that it was almost nine o'clock. After a moment of thought, he decided to find a place to stay and do more investigating tomorrow.

He looked at CatCo International Media and opened his hand to reveal that he was holding a necklace.

He needed to figure out why he saw something identical to what he received in his dreams in the DC universe.

As for Diana, he would have to meet her another time.
