Doraemon pulled out a flower from his pocket.
"Mr. Wayne, let me get closer to it!" Doraemon shouted.
Although Bruce Wayne wasn't sure what Doraemon intended to do, he trusted the effectiveness of his gadgets. He nodded and made the protective shield spin rapidly like a fan.
"Repulsion."
Using the Yellow Lantern Ring, Bruce manipulated the shield to create a repulsive force between it and the Tailed Beast Bomb, sending the bomb flying back toward Shukaku.
Seeing his own attack being reflected, Shukaku quickly jumped aside to dodge it.
"Now!" Doraemon said, pushing his Bamboo Copter to its maximum speed as he flew toward Shukaku. Before Shukaku could react, Doraemon placed the flower under Shukaku's nose.
"Forget-Me-Flower!" Doraemon shouted, announcing the name of his gadget.
"What's this?!" Shukaku growled in irritation, noticing the flower under his nose. Just as he was about to lash out in anger, his mind went blank.
"Wait, what was I doing again?"
Within seconds, Shukaku had forgotten his original intent. His killing intent faded as he stood there, looking around in confusion.
"And why am I even here? Where was I before?"
The Forget-Me-Flower's effect caused its target to lose their memory temporarily, and the longer they inhaled the scent, the deeper the memory loss.
While Shukaku hadn't completely forgotten everything, he no longer remembered what he had been trying to do.
"Perfect! Now for the next step: Momotaro Dumplings!"
Doraemon quickly took out the Momotaro Dumplings from his pocket and threw them to Temari.
"Are you related to this person who turned into a monster?" he called out.
"Uh, yes," Temari replied, catching the dumplings, confused but trusting Doraemon.
"Then you have to throw it to him to eat! Hurry!"
With no time for an explanation, Doraemon urged Temari to act quickly.
"O-Okay!"
Temari, unsure of what was happening, but realizing that Doraemon's gadgets were effective, immediately threw one of the Momotaro Dumplings into Shukaku's mouth.
"Mm?"
After swallowing the dumpling, Shukaku's fierce expression softened. He suddenly turned his head toward Temari.
"Ahhh!!"
Seeing Shukaku's attention fixed on her, Temari panicked and instinctively raised her fan to defend herself. Shukaku charged at her, and in her terror, she thought her end had come.
But instead of attacking, Shukaku started nuzzling his head against Temari's waist like a contented cat.
"Eh?!"
Temari was utterly shocked by the sight of the once fearsome Shukaku acting like a harmless pet.
Not only Temari, but Kankuro, Bruce Wayne, and Alfred were all equally stunned by the drastic transformation. Only Gian and his friends remained unfazed, as they had seen Doraemon's gadgets in action before.
"Master, are you okay?" Shukaku asked with a sweet, obedient tone, a stark contrast to his previous menacing self.
Temari couldn't comprehend what was happening.
"Phew, it worked! I was worried it wouldn't affect such a powerful creature," Doraemon said, wiping the sweat from his brow.
"What's going on? What did you do, raccoon?!" Temari asked urgently.
"I'm not a raccoon! I'm a cat!" Doraemon fumed, his fur standing on end.
Frightened, Temari quickly apologized, "Okay, okay, sorry, Mr. Cat."
Doraemon calmed down and explained, "I gave you the Momotaro Dumplings. Any animal, no matter how fierce—whether it's a wild beast, a dinosaur, or even something as terrifying as Shukaku—will become obedient to the person who feeds them the dumplings for a whole month."
"That's incredible! Just a small dumpling can tame even a monster like Shukaku!" Temari exclaimed, astonished. To her, Shukaku was not just a beast but an unfathomable terror, beyond human comprehension. Yet, it had been tamed by a tiny dumpling.
"Well, I wasn't completely sure it would work, so I used the Forget-Me-Flower to make it lose focus. Then, I had you feed it the dumpling while it was distracted," Doraemon explained thoughtfully, still amazed that his plan had succeeded.
"Wait, only a month?!" Kankuro immediately latched onto the important detail.
"Yeah, that's right. If you can form a strong bond with him in that month, the effect will last even after the month is over. Otherwise, you'll have to keep feeding him the dumplings," Doraemon explained.
Temari and Kankuro exchanged worried glances. Forming a strong bond with Shukaku in a month seemed... unlikely.
"This might be awkward to ask, but... could I have more of those Momotaro Dumplings? I can trade you something in return," Temari asked, suddenly thinking about what she could offer as a trade.
"Trade? No need for that. You can have them. It looks like your situation is more troublesome than I expected," Doraemon replied generously.
"Really?!"
Temari and Kankuro were stunned by Doraemon's kindness. In their eyes, something as valuable as the Momotaro Dumplings should be worth a fortune. They had already been thinking about what to offer in exchange.
But Doraemon didn't mind at all. "It's fine. I have plenty more where that came from," he said casually.
Doraemon's nonchalance left Bruce Wayne visibly perplexed beneath his mask. He silently pondered just how powerful and resourceful Doraemon truly was.
