Marvel: Adventures of Grim Mortimer

A kid who had nothing but bad luck all his life and had lost everything dies while protecting a girl named Valerie. Turns out she was the daughter of the infamous Reed Richards and Sue Storm of the Fantastic Four. Well, that didn't really matter as he lay dead while she hugged him and apologised to his corpse, not knowing death was what he wanted all his life... But unfortunately, this universe wasn't so normal, as the next year he wakes up only to find himself buried 12 feet under in a coffin. It took him a whole month before he realised he was alive and that he was now undead. Cracking his skull open till he bled to death, drowning himself, diving headfirst into a pool of acid, falling from a ten-story building...it didn't matter what he did he just couldn't die. A pity really... So when he suddenly turned up to the headquarters of the Fantastic Four, they were obviously shocked, especially Johnny who was taking a bath and who had accidentally thought him an enemy and burned him to cinders. Only for him to re-form a few seconds later and say in a lethargic tone of voice. "Did I catch you at a bad time?" Not bothered at all that he had just been burned alive...or would it be dead?

New Fanfiction!!!Soon...

So I just saw the new League of Legends cinematic and trailer for Arcane 2 and I'm pretty hype for this year.

And because of it, I wanted to write a League of Legends fanfiction.

So that's exactly what I'm gonna do. I've already thought of a pretty cool concept, and who the main character is gonna be.

The beginning of the story is gonna take place a few hundred years before the current timeline.

...

So here's a little sneak peek before I decide when to upload the first few chapters

In the celestial realm of Targon, under a night sky ablaze with stars and unique auroras, lies a grassy plain a few miles from the foot of the colossal Mount Targon.

Here, the wind whispers secrets as it dances through the rare Starwhisper Blossoms.

On a lone tree, a boy of ten lays, his eyes closed in serene contemplation, four fluffy fox tails swaying gently behind him.

Zaorin, humming a tune taught by his mother, an ancient melody as old as Targon's first pilgrims, bites on a reed, lost in the beauty of the night.

"Talora veem, Raela niim,

Vorin keel, Trova dim.

Lorin veer, Saela rim,

Grova teel, Navorim.

Faelor veen, Krela deem,

Tora vael, Grinor seem.

Lorin veer, Saela rim,

Grova teel, Navorim.

Varin teem, Naela vrim,

Kora veal, Trivor lim.

Lorin veer, Saela rim,

Grova teel, Navorim.

Talora veem, Vaela kim,

Nora veal, Grovin tim..."

As the final note fades, he opens his eyes - fiery red, oval-shaped, and enchanting.

A smile plays on his lips as he rolls off the tree, landing silently, his descent as light as a feather.

Looking up, he notices a 'star' twinkling peculiarly.

It's not a star, however, but an enormous dragon descending rapidly.

Its colossal form, dwarfing even miniature mountains, lands with a force that creates a sizable earthquake.

Terrifying yet beautiful, the dragon's eyes glow with an intense blue light, contrasting the rest of its formidable body.

The ground crumbles under its immense claws, and a growl emanates from it, sending ripples of wind for kilometers.

Zaorin, unfazed, scratches his head instinctively. He addresses the dragon with a cheeky grin:

"Haha... Hey Ma, sorry, I guess I lost track of time again."

The dragon, his mother, fixes him with a stern glare that Zaorin knows all too well - the 'you're in trouble' look. With a resigned sigh, he kneels, his body crackling with red lightning.

In a blink, he vanishes, reappearing atop the elder dragon's head.

The dragon, with a huff of acknowledgement, spreads her wings and roars mightily. It was a thunderous, guttural bellow that shook the very air around it.

The sound was deep and resonating, filled with ferocity and power, as if the dragon is unleashing all its ancient might and fury.

The roar echoed across vast landscape, striking fear into the hearts of all who heared it.

With her child now sleeping soundly on her head, she ascends to the night sky, returning to her nest.

Those who were lucky enough to spot the infamous Elder Dragon knelt in reverence.

It was not every day one is lucky enough to witness the full Majesty of an elder Dragon's form...and live to tell the tale.
