The end of an Era!

" Hulk my dear friend, enough is enough I do not wish. Ugh!"

Sentry was saying as he spoke to the hulk only to be cut off by the clawed hand of Asura smacking him across the city and through several buildings.

" Raaaaaaah!"

Asura roared as he floated in the air, his voice creating shockwaves strong enough to shatter the glass buildings around him. His voice could be heard for miles. The people themselves grasping at their ears in an attempt to ease the pain.

Hulk took the opportunity to attack asura. He leapt into the air and brought both of his fists down onto the man's head sending him careening into the ground below. If there was a road there before it was gone now. All that remained was a massive crater in the ground where Asura now laid.

" Good god, he actually hurt me."

Sentry said as he recovered himself. He got up off the ground and flew back towards the hulk and asura.

" Hulk I won't ask again."

Sentry stated as he arrived in front of his old friend.

" Then stop talking and start fighting."

Hulk said as he leapt at sentry.

" Rahhhh!"

Asura yelled as he leapt into the air joining the two men above.

" Oh, you. I do owe you don't I"

Sentry said as he blasted Asura. However much to his shock it didn't do anything to Asura at all. Asura continued his ascent and punched the man in the face drawing blood. Hulk followed up with a punch of his own sending Sentry crashing into the ground below. The two monsters divebombed sentry. Sentry recovered by punching Asura away and blasting hulk.

" My energy might not work on the beast, but it does you hulk."

Sentry said as he punched hulk in the face.

" And yet you still choose to punch me in the face sentry."

Hulk said as he returned the punch breaking sentry's nose in the process.

" You know why. Because it feels good!"

Sentry said as he punched Hulk away from him, knocking him across New York city.

" Rrrrrrr!"

Asura growled as he stumbled to his feet.

" I don't know what you are creature, but you should surrender.

" Raaah!"

Asura roared as he attacked sentry. Using his two giant arms to slam down on sentry's back. Sentry recovered from the blow and tackled Asura through the nearest building pushing him out from the middle of the city. He continued flying until hulk caught him by his foot and threw him into another building.

" You're right it does feel good."

Hulk said as he returned to the fight much bigger than before. He had now gotten so big that his armor had busted off of him. Hulk leapt at sentry and the two gladiators began trading blows again.

" Good!"

Sentry says as hulk punches him in the face.

" Just once more!"

Sentry says as he and hulk trade blows with each other

" That's It!"

Sentry yells as he drives both his hands into Hulks stomach knocking him into the air. His energy so strong that it blasts through the city of New York Destroying everything it touches. Sentry Laughs as his energy pours out of him in giant waves of fire.

" Raaaah!"

Asura yells as he jumps headfirst into the massive vortex of fire.

" Quite impressive aren't you!"

Sentry says as Asura punches him in the face. The hulk punches Asura in his stomach as he returns to his feet. The three Fighters releasing all of their powers. Gamma radiating off of the hulk, the power of a million exploding suns from sentry, and the unknown power of Mantra radiating off of Asura. The three together Destroying the very ground beneath them with their blows.

" Ah Bruce. You have to tell me something. Does it always feel this good when you finally let go?"

Sentry asks as he and bruce punch each other in the face. Sentry hits bruce with two strong blows to the face as hulk punched Asura.

" And you beast tell me does it feel as good for you as it does me?"

Sentry asked as he slammed his fist into the man's jaws, breaking it completely, albeit briefly as his jaw simply healed itself soon after.

" Raaaah!"

Asura roared in responsce.

" He can't hear you right now. He's been a mindless beast since he transformed."

Hulk said as he punched Asura away sending him crashing into the gladiator arena Hulk had set up.

" Rrrrr!"

Asura growled as he got up out of the rubble.

" Ahhhhhhhh!"

The crowd gathered in the arena yelled as they looked at the newly arrived man.

Asura looked at the people in the crowd and the locked away heroes. Specifically Iron man, Reed Richards, Strange, and Black bolt. Asura pointed at the men and with some semblance of sanity spoke to them.

" Yeeeer Fauuuult!"

Asura growled out like a beast before leaving to rejoin the battle.

" What did he say?"

She-hulk asked.

" He said it was our fault."

Reed responded as and strange Hung their heads in shame.

" Ah It seems our new friend has rejoined us."

Sentry said as he and hulk traded blows with each other.

" Rahhh!"

Asura roared as he slashed sentry in the back with his claws, tearing the flesh away from the man's back, drawing a gasp of pain from the main in return.

The force of coming from the three powerhouses continued to shake New York's foundation.

" We have to stop, or else they'll end up sinking New York into the ocean."

Tony said to the others.

" I'm doing Jarvis fire."

Tony spoke.

In space a satellite began positioning itself over the three fighters below and with Tony's word of approval a massive beam fired down directly on top of them.

" RAAAAH!"

Asura yelled as he hulk and sentry all punched at each other the collison of their fists sending out another shockwave. However just as they had hit, the beam that was fired suddenly drove the three men down into the ground.

" RAAAAAAaaaaaaaaah!"

Asura roared as he was blasted away.

" Damn it STARK!"

Hulk yelled

" So this is the end."

Sentry stated as he accepted his loss.

The three men had each been engulfed by the beam entirely. The resulting explosion equivalent to that of a nuke, perhaps even greater. The locked away heroes and civilians all looked on as they saw the massive explosion from their cage.

" No!"

Rachel yelled as she and the remaining X-men watched as their friend was blown up.

The battlefield had been covered in a massive cloud of smoke. The onlookers trembled as they waited to see the result of Tony's actions. When the dust finally cleared three men could be seen standing around each other. Each man heavily wounded and bleeding.

" That beast is the same man who fought us back when we went to Xaviers."

Iron man said as he looked at the man.

" His name was asura. I never imagined he had the power to rival hulk and sentry."

She-hulk stated.

" Bruce, Thanks!"

Sentry said as he collapsed to the ground in his human state.

* Huff! Huff! Huff! * Asura gasped as he struggled to catch his breath.

" I've never been pushed so far in my life. Not with Thor. Not with the avengers. Not with Gladiator. Sentry, Hulk thank you both for the greatest fight of my life. But now, it's time to end this bruce."

Asura said as he walked towards the hulk stumbling and staggering along the way.

" Who, where is the hulk?"

Miek asked as he and the rest of hulks war bound arrived on the scene of the fight.

" You look upon him. Within each of us lives the world breaker."

Hiroim said as he pointed towards Bruce banner.

Asura continued his walk towards Bruce and extended his hand towards the man. This action shocked everyone who was watching. Bruce stared at the man in confusion.

" I never thought of you as an enemy bruce. I only wanted to protect that which was dear to me. Had I been in your position, I would have done the same thing."

Asura said to bruce.

Bruce looked at the man in front of him for a solid minute thinking about his actions and the events that had led to this moment. With a nod of his head bruce reached out and accepted the man's hand and shook it.

" I'm sorry for attacking the mutants. You were right they weren't responsible for what happened to us."

Bruce said as he shook Asura's hand.

" That's all fine and dandy, but you are all under arrest."

Iron man said as he and the other heroes arrived on the scene having finally freed themselves of their shackles.

" Back off stark!"

Rick jones said as he pushed his way past the hero.

" And the sakaarson who redeems the world. Today, finally. The hulk knows who he is."

Hiroim says as he watches Bruce, and the others talk. His words angering Miek.

" Bruce, welcome home."

Rick says as he shakes bruces hand.

" You're wrong Stark the one under arrest is you and rest of your illuminate. Mark my words you will all pay for what you've done."

Asura said as he looked at the group of men. Reed and strange shook their heads in agreement while black bolt and Iron man looked ready to fight.

" No you're not done yet.'

Miek said, his voice drawing the attention of everyone still present.

" Come back to us, Hulk!"

Miek yelled as he went to stab bruce with his spear.

" Bruce look out!"

Rick yelled as he shoved bruce out of the way and was stabbed instead.

" Come back!"

Miek demanded as everyone looked on in horror.

" Rick!"

Bruce called out trying to help his friend.

" Bruce... no bruce."

Rick mumbled as he watched bruce start to transform again.

Bruce had transformed into the hulk again and had begun to beat Miek into paste. Punching and tearing at the bug creature's body as the rest of his war bound fought to restrain him.

" This is what you were made for hulk. Never stop making them pay. That is what you taught me. That's why I killed them. That's why you'll kill me."

Miek said as hulk smashed him.

" Them?"

Hulk asked in confusion.

" Ha. Now you see. I always remind you. Because you always forget. Like when you found your queen all you wanted was peace. But that's not who you are. You conquered Sakaar. Killed the red king. We should have slaughtered his people. But you let them live. So, I watched them load an old warp core onto that shuttle. They thought it would kill you. But I knew it would just remind you of what you were made for"

Miek explained as he was the one responsible for what had happened to the hulk and the others. His words brought out an anger within the hulk. Knowing what was coming Asura flew up to helicopter in the sky.

" Listen to me people of earth I need you to listen, and do as I say or else, we're all dead. I need you start praying to me. Pray to Asura."

Asura said as he flew back down to the ground to begin drawing in energy.

" Alright you pucks you heard him start praying!"

Logan yelled too the X-men and students who had regained consciousness. The stepford sisters Celste, Mindee, and phoebe. The New X-men Julian, santo, David, Noriko, Sooraya, Cessily. Ruth, Hisako, Megan, Rachel, Hepzibah, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Kitty, Emma, Scott, Logan. Xavier, Warpath, Giovani, Cain Marko, Monet, Darwin, and the entire student body began offering their prayers to Asura.

" I can feel it growing my power but it's not enough yet."

Asura said as he looked upon the scene in front of him.

The hulk had begun glowing his body radiating more gamma than ever before. Hulk then clapped and everything around him was blown away.

" Asura was the only one still standing on his feet.

" Listen to me all you I need you to offer me your prayers."

Asura yelled too the heroes.

" Me pray to you as if. I don't even pray to god."

Iron man retorted.

" I need your power to fight him. If I don't stop him now the world will be destroyed. Now Pray to me NOW!"

Asura yelled.

" Without you. None of this would have happened. I'll hate you forever."

Hulk yelled as gamma radiation began destroying what little remained of New York.

" DO IT NOW!"

Asura yelled. The remaining heroes nodded and began to pray to asura offering more of their power to the man.

' I can feel it. It's building.'

Asura thought as he absorbed the power.

Suddenly Hulk took a step, and the ground below shook. The force of his mere step was so strong that he started an earthquake that shook the entire eastern seaboard of the United States. Earthquakes and high tides radiated from his one step.

" People of the world give me your prayers!"

Asura yelled.

Seeing the events happening on their Tv screens the people of the world began praying to the man on their screen in hopes that he could save them from their imminent deaths.

' It's not enough.'

Asura thought as he pulled in the power.

" I need More POWER RIGHT NOW!"

Asura yelled.

Meanwhile back at the x-mansion one more person had begun to pray to the man fighting for their lives. Her prayer alongside three others pushed Asura over his limits allowing the man to break through to a realm he could only imagine before. The combined Prayers of Hepzibah, Rachel Summers, Cessily kincaid, and Laura kinney pushed Asura to new heights.

" aaaAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Asura yelled as his body was enveloped in a bright light, his power began to skyrocket. He blasted off into the air,

Hulk turned to the man engulfed in the light and spoke to him a simple request.

" Do it! Stop me! Before I destroy the world!"

Hulk yelled as his energy rampaged through the city of New York.

" RAAAAAAAAAAH! MANTRA ASURA!"

Asura yelled as he emerged from the light. His arms now much bigger than before and a golden ring around his back.

" To me Wailing Dark!"

Asura yelled as he summoned his blade. The blade rushed through the air as it arrived in asura's hand. Asura pulled the blade from its scabbard and swung it at the hulk as it expanded.

" Argh!"

The hulk yelled in pain as he was hit by the blade. At first it seemed the blade had no effect on the now massive body of the hulk, however little by little hulks body began to be lifted off the ground.

' RAAAAAH!"

Asura yelled as he put all of his might into his swing. The force of the attack blasting Hulk from the earth itself. Asura strapped his blade to his waist and followed the hulk into space.

" Forgive me for this Hulk!"

Asura said as he appeared in front of the hulk. Asura punched hulk in his face drawing blood from the behemoth as he flew through space.

' I need to get him as far away from earth as possible.'

asura thought as he wailed on hulk. Each blow sending hulk further and further into space.

" It's not enough. You have to really hurt me."

Hulk responded.

" I know every time I hit you, I'm draining your Gamma. But I must warn you hulk you may not survive this."

Asura said as he punched hulk again.

" That is fine. Just promise me one thing."

Hulk said as Asura landed another punch on the man.

" What is it?"

Asura asked.

" Make sure stark and the others are punished."

Hulk asked

" I promise they will be."

Asura answered. he hung his head in shame when he saw hulk smile gratefully at his words.

Asura continued pummeling hulk further and further into space, until he looked around and saw that there wasn't a single planet in sight.

" ARHHHHHH!"

Asura yelled as he began gathering energy in his hands. The ball of energy began expanding. Growing bigger and bigger in the man's hands. It was easily three times the size of a red supergiant

[ Music insert: Divide music Always hated Goodbyes]

" Forgive me for this Hulk. Goodbye! SOLAR FLARE!"

Asura yelled as he launched the brilliant blaze at the man.

' Rick! Betty! Jennifer! My friends my family. Caiera My wife my queen Goodbye.'

Hulk thought as he felt the giant energy ball consume him.

On lookers from every planet from Uranus to earth, all could look up into the sky and see the massive explosion.

' I am sorry Bruce.'

Asura thought as he hung his head in shame. Though he wanted this battle he never wanted bruce dead if anything, had the hulk not brutally attacked his friends he might have joined hulk in taking down the others. But now was too late for regrets for either man. Everything was said and done.

" At least now you can join your wife in the afterlife."

Asura said certain of the hulk's death. That is until he saw the green giants badly burned body floating in space.

' He's Alive?! After that!'

Asura thought with fear as he looked at the beast.

' He is alive, but it seems that blast wiped him of his energy. I see. I know what to do."

Asura thought as he grabbed the hulk's body and flew back towards earth.

The people of earth all took a deep breath and cheered as the two monsters had left their planet. People the world around danced and cheered as they had survived another day.

The heroes however, had their hands busy with hulks war bound. They didn't know what to do with them. However, the war bound had agreed to surrender now that their king was gone. The heroes moved to place the group under arrest until Spiderman of all people said something that got their attentions.

" Uh, guys is it me or is the sky falling?"

Spiderman asked as he pointed to what looked like a comet heading right towards them.

" MOVE!"

Iron man Yelled as the " Comet" Hit the ground shaking up the dirt and causing a massive smokescreen.

Asura hurried over to the Hulk's war bound and gave the green giant to korg.

" Take the hulk and leave. You have all suffered enough as it is. I won't let you become prisoners of war to these monsters."

Asura said as he handed the hulk over.

" Why are you helping us after what we did?"

Korg asked.

" Because he has suffered more than enough already. I think it's time for him to try and find some happiness of his own. Korg, when he awakens give him this, and tell him my message. Though her physical body was destroy she will live so long as sakaar lives. there is still hope for a reunion. And tell him his son is alive as well."

Asura explained.

" How do you know this?"

Korg asked in shock.

" Even I have my secrets. Tell him to go back and defend his planet. But be warned if he doesn't Galactus the world eater will destroy sakaar and his wife will be lost forever. Now, go!"

Asura demanded.

The War bound all looked at each other and nodded before bowing in thanks to the man before them.

" You have our eternal gratitude."

Korg said before the others all boarded their ship and left.

" HEY! They're getting away!"

General ross yelled.

Asura stepped out of the smoke and yelled to everyone present.

" STAND DOWN NOW!"

Asura yelled as he stood in front of the retreating ship.

" Why aren't you going after them?"

Spiderman asked.

" Because I have four criminals to deal with. But not today. For today we all have much healing to do. The people need us right now. Tony Stark! Reed Richards! Stephen Strange! Black bolt! You are all responsible for what has happened today. And I made a promise to hulk that I would and believe I will make sure you are all punished for what you did to him."

Asura yelled.

" I'll be seeing you all soon."

Asura said before walking over to she-hulk.

He stared at the woman and pulled her close to him.

" Ugh! What are you?"

She-hulk asked as she struggled to break free of the man's grasp.

" Shut up and listen. Hulk lives."

Asura whispered into she-hulks ear, his words making the girl stop her fighting.

" Really?"

She-hulk whispered back. Asura simply nodded in response.

" Thank you."

She said with tears in her eyes.

" Don't tell anyone."

Asura said before flying away.

" It's finally over. Girls, everyone. I'm coming home."

Asura said as he flew through the morning sky.
