Aftermath!

Asura left behind the ravaged and destroyed city of New York to make his way home. arriving just minutes after leaving.

' I hope the girls are okay. I know Laura has an amazing healing factor but to see her get beat like that, I don't know if she made it.'

Asura thought as he entered the school building

" ASURA!"

The students yelled greeting their savior. The students all ran to the man and dog piled him.

" Hahaha It's good to see you all again. I've missed you all so much."

Asura proclaimed as he hugged as many students as he could.

" Hey kid welcome back, it's good to see ya."

Logan said as he walked into the main foyer. Asura moved through the crowd of students and ran to the man.

" Logan Laura is she okay?"

Asura asked in a panic.

" Yeah, she's fine they're all down in the med lab right now. Never seen the place so full. Hell, we'd probably be burying them right now if you hadn't come back."

Logan explained to the man in front of him.

" I'm going to see them."

Asura said, but before he could leave Logan put a hand on his shoulder.

" Listen kid, you left them girls alone for a long time. Laura took it worse than red did. I know I probably couldn't kill ya, but if you hurt my daughter like that again nothing will stop me from trying."

Logan warned asura as he extended his claws.

Asura looked at the man and nodded in agreement before taking off down the hallway and into the sub-basement.

" Damn my ears still hurt."

Julian complained as he gently rubbed his ears.

" At least you didn't get your chest caved in by the hulk."

Noriko complained.

" Hey at least you guys are still in one piece."

Santo complained as he looked at his body, without arms or legs.

" Stop complaining. None of us got it worse than Laura. I am sorry my fellow mate."

Hepzibah said as she rubbed Laura's bloody face, trying her best to clean the blood off without bringing further harm to the girl.

" It's nice to meet you, Cessily. Asura always spoke fondly of you and Laura. Now, I can see why."

Rachel said as she tended to the mercury woman's injuries.

" Thank you, Rachel. When Asura first told us about you two I was mad at him, but then again, he was opposed to me being a part of his romance with Laura at first too. She's the reason he began to open up about this little relationship of ours. He's always treated me with kindness and affection, something I thought no man would show me now that I look like this. I love him, Rachel."

Cessily explained.

" I love him too Cess. We'll get through this together all five of us."

Rachel stated.

" GIRLS!"

Asura yelled as he burst into the med ward.

His voice making everyone turn in his direction. Smiles on all of their faces.

" ASURA! Ugh!"

They all yelled in excitement one moment to instantly groan in pain the very next. Asura looked around for a moment searching for his ladies, once he found them, he made his way over to them in a hurry.

" My mate i am so happy to see you well."

Hepzibah stated as she approached Asura. Asura grabbed the woman and pulled her into a kiss before dragging her with him towards the others.

" Is it my turn love?"

Rachel asked as Asura walked over to her.

" Yes."

Asura replied kissing the woman with just as much care as he did Hepzibah.

" Oh, love I can never get used to that."

Rachel said as she let asura go towards the remaining girls.

" Cessily."

Asura called out to.

" Asura. I hate you! I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate YOU!"

Cessily yelled as she beat on asura's chest. Crying as asura hugged the woman.

" Why did you leave us? I love you Asura."

Cessily continued crying.

Asura grabbed the woman's chin and lifter her face until her eyes met his. He leaned down and kissed the woman softly on her lips ceasing her crying instantly.

" I love you too Cessily. I love all of you with all my heart. And I promise I will never leave any one of you alone like that again."

Asura said as he pulled the woman into another kiss. After a few seconds asura made his way over to the bed that Laura was still unconscious in. Asura leaned over her bedside and grabbed her bloody hand.

" My love I am so sorry. I swore that I'd never let you get hurt again. I'm sorry for breaking my promise, Laura. I love you"

Asura said as he choked over his tears, fighting to hold them back.

" Hank is she going to be alright?"

Asura asked the blue haired mutant.

" She will be sore for a while. She will be out of action for just as long, but as long as nothing happens to change the current rate of her regeneration, she will be alright my friend."

Beast replied.

" Thank the heavens."

Asura said before leaning over the bed again and kissing her blood-soaked mouth. After a few seconds he felt Laura's hand gently squeeze his own.

" Oh, Laura."

Asura said as he realized she had heard him. Eventually her hand fell again as Laura had once again slipped back into unconsciousness.

" Rest My love I'm not leaving your side."

Asura said as he sat by Laura's bedside.

" How are the rest of you holding up?"

Asura asked as he made his way over to the injured X-men.

" Trying to help Colossus with his bent arms.

" I see."

Asura replied.

" Can you help him asura?"

Kitty asked.

" Yeah, I can. But it might hurt like a bitch."

Asura replied.

" It is fine comrade."

Colossus stated.

" If you can straighten his arms for a second I can fix him right up."

Josh explained.

" Okay, on 3. 1. 2. 3."

Asura counted down before pulling colossus's arms straight from their broken and bent position.

" ARGH!"

Colossus yelled in pain.

" There! I fixed them. Go ahead peter you can transform back now."

Josh said as he finished healing Colossus's arms.

" Thank you, comrade Asura."

Peter stated

" Yeah, thanks asusie."

Kitty joked.

" No, problem. It's good to see you again kitty."

Asura said as he gave the woman a hug. After helping colossus Asura made his way over to Emma scott and the stepford sisters.

" Hey, girls. Scott. How are you guys holding up?"

Asura asked. The three stepford immediately hugged the man tightly. He noticed they were shaking.

' We were scared you wouldn't come back.'

Celeste said through their psychic link, the other girls nodding in agreement.

' I'm sorry for making you all worry. I'm back now and I'm not going anywhere again.'

Asura replied as he held onto the girls.

" What about you two huh?"

Asura asked.

" We've been through worse. We'll make it. You're taking a lot of liberties with my daughters considering you already have four girls over there."

Emma jested

" Eh!"

Asura replied with a shrug of his shoulders.

" Asura my brother was he alright before you and Rachel left?"

Scott asked

" They were fine scott. I'm sorry that I couldn't get them back with us. But they were determined to continue leading the starjammers. I'm also sorry for your father scott."

Asura replied as he placed a hand on the man's shoulders.

" It's fine. You did your best."

Scott replied with a sad smile on his face.

" Asura thank you for saving us."

Mindee spoke up and spoke.

" Of course, Mindee. We're all family and no one messes with my family and gets away it."

Asura said as everyone in the room looked upon him.

" You going to give us another one of your motivational speeches?"

Julian asked smugly.

" Yeah, Asura!"

Megan asked

" I do have something to say, but I think it'd be better suited for when we've all licked our wounds."

Asura said.

" Really? What wounds do you have to lick?"

Noriko asked

" Asura? ASURA!"

The stepford sister all yelled as Asura suddenly collapsed face first onto the ground from exhaustion.

" Girls out of the way!"

Beast yelled as he ran over to the man.

" Joshua come with me quickly. I need to check his wounds."

Beast yelled as he grabbed Asura and placed him on the examination table.

" I'm coming sir!"

Josh yelled back.

The others sat in shock as they watched their savior who was fine moments ago collapse suddenly

" Oh, my stars."

Beast said in shock.

" What is it hank?!"

Rachel yelled

" Every one of his ribs, every bone in his right and left arm, every bone in his legs, all of them are broken."

Beast said shocking everyone present.

" I guess now that the fighting is over, he's finally coming off of his adrenaline rush. The pain hit him all at once. That's why he passed out. Josh, I need you to heal as many of the injuries as you can."

Beast stated

" I'm on it sir. Don't worry asura I'm not letting you die."

Josh said as he placed his hands over Asura's torso and emitted his golden light of healing.
