War of Kings begins!

The people of Hala yelled in terror as the imperial guard started destroying their city. But before any of them could attack the civilians, Hal stepped forward and launched a beam into the sky, forming a shield around the civilian crowded presidium.

" Crystal, go get, Luna and get to safety. Black Bolt! Medusa! Everyone get ready! I can't hold this shield forever."

Hal said to the people as he struggled to keep the shield up. His arms growing heavy as Gladiator and the guard pounded on his shield.

" You will not stop us from completing our mission!"

Gladiator declared as he continued pounding away at the shield, hitting it harder and harder as he tried to get through.

" Hal! It's killing you, just drop it!"

Crystal yelled to the man.

Hal dropped to his knees and spat up blood, but still his shield held strong.

" Can't... Let them... Hurt the people!"

Hal exclaimed.

" Hal, let it go. We got this."

Atom said to the man.

" You ready Black Bolt?"

Atom asked the royal king.

Black Bolt stepped forward and placed his hand on his brother in laws shoulder and nodded, his psionic energy flowing as he prepared himself for battle, alongside him were the rest of the inhuman royal family.

Hal nodded and let the shield go allowing the imperial guard inside.

Atom alongside Black Bolt flew into the air to combat Gladiator. Atom flew straight into Gladiator's stomach as Black Bolt slammed his forearm into the man's throat.

while those three battled the rest of the shi'ar imperial guard battled with the Inhumans, even Rinan who had been beaten earlier was back on his feet fighting to protect the people.

" Sweetie, go with Lockjaw okay. Momma will be right behind you."

Crystal said to her daughter as she placed her on top the Inhuman's teleporting dog.

She then turned and ran to Hal's side as he battled with smasher and nightside.

" Get your hands off my husband you dark side bitch!"

Crystal growled as she blasted a hole through Nightside, effectively killing her.

Getting a moment to recover himself, Hal then raised his hand and did the same to Smasher, killing him as well.

" Thank you, Crystal. How's Luna?"

Hal asked the woman.

" She's fine, she's excited to meet you."

Crystal said to the man as she observed his injuries.

" Well, that makes one of us. Me. I'm nervous. What if she doesn't like me?"

Hal asked the woman.

Crystal giggled and helped the man to his feet.

" I don't think you have to worry about that. But for now, let's keep our people safe, my husband."

Crystal said to the man.

Hal smiled and raised his hand up and his body started glowing with energy.

" Let's send these royal bastards packing... My wife."

Hal turned and said to the woman with a smile on his face.

Crystal nodded and the flew off to help deal with the guard.

Hal flew into the air and fired a large blast of light into the giant titan's face, knocking him down hard,

While the others were fighting Rachel and Lorna helped evacuate the citizens and other representatives from races across the galaxy. Shielding them from debrief and other attacks as the fight carried on.

Korvus battled Starbolt smacking the man away from him with his depowered blade.

Saying the entire area was in disarray would be an understatement, and yet things only continued to get worse. As Atom and Black Bolt fought and pummeled Gladiator, Black Bolt was suddenly assaulted by another member of the imperial guard.

" WHITE NOISE! NOW!"

Gladiator yelled to the woman.

She flew over Black Bolt and Atom and hit them both with a cone of Noise-Cancelling sonics. Her power isn't on the level of Black Bolt. But it is enough to stun the two men briefly allowing gladiator to smack both of them into the ground below.

" What have you got to say about that Your Majesty?"

Gladiator asked Black Bolt as the man held his ears in pain. Gladiator then used all of his force and punched the man in his stomach, driving him into the ground and burying him underneath the city.

Gladiator turned to do the same to Atom, but was greeted by the man's energy blast slamming into his face.

Gladiator yelled out in pain as he was launched across the city.

" Black Bolt! The king is down!"

Gorgon yelled as he threw one of the Shi'ar soldiers aside. He made his way to help Black Bolt but was blasted from behind by another Shi'ar with Lazer eyes. The beam tore through Gorgons legs taking the man out of the fight for good.

Though they were holding their ground, the Inhumans and the starjammers were just too drastically outnumbered by the imperial guard.

" Damn, we're slowly getting overwhelmed. You got any bright ideas?"

Hal asked Atom as he and Crystal regrouped with the man.

" None, there's too many people here for me to let loose. Meanwhile, our soldiers are getting beaten back inch by inch. The only thing we can do is keeping swinging and chip away at their ranks one by one."

Atom explained to the two.

" Right. Crystal follow me, we're going to go see if we can't dig Black Bolt out of all this rubble."

Hal said to the woman as he began to take flight, he was however, stopped by starbolt!

Hal was tackled to the ground as the walking sun held him down blasting him in the face with fire. Hal raised his hand and returned a blast of his own to the star, knocking him off of him.

" Damn, bastard. That hurt."

Hal groaned as he got to his feet. However, he was swiftly slammed back into the ground by Titan's giant hand.

" Are we done here, Praetor?"

Titan asked Gladiator as the man fought with Atom.

Gladiator punched Atom in his face, making him reel a little before answering the question.

" I believe we've made our point! Execute teleparture bounce!"

Gladiator yelled out.

And just as the Imperial guard had arrived, they vanished just as swiftly.

" Oh gods, Preserve us... HAL!"

Crystal cried out the man's name as she flew over to his body as he laid firmly planted into the ground.

The sudden attack left the Kree Home world Hala in rubble. And it most certainly lit a fire in the rulers that hasn't been seen in a long time.

Medusa dug herself and Black Bolt out of the ruins atop of them seething in rage.

" Today you have made a mortal error Shi'ar... AND YOU WILL PAY IN BLOOD!"

Medusa declared as she and Black Bolt stood atop their ruined city in shambles, blood dripping down their bodies.

Hearing Medusa yelling, Hal grabbed his head and slowly lifted himself up.

" I thought we took care of that guy?"

Hal asked as he held his head. He looked around to see the destruction before him and got to his feet.

Only to be confronted by Medusa and Black Bolt shortly after.

" You have put your life on the line for our people as such you have our thanks. Now, if you'll excuse us we need to see to our people."

Medusa said to the man, and with a nod from Black Bolt the two walked away.

" Come on, let's get you patched up."

Crystal said to the man as she put his arm around her shoulders.

Hal nodded and let the woman guide him to wherever it was they were going.

Crystal walked with Hal all the way to her room within the royal palace. Though it was more of her own personal apartment. Once inside she guided Hal to the coach and sat him down gently. She then turned and grabbed the medical supplies in her bathroom and returned with towels and bottles of alcohol as well.

" Sorry, this is going to hurt a little."

Crystal said to the man as she opened the bottle.

" Heh! No problem, I'm used to the pain."

Hal joked as he smirked at the woman.

Crystal nodded and poured the alcohol in all of the cuts and wounds on Hal's body cleaning and disinfecting them before she began stitching him up.

" You know, what you did today was very crazy. it was stupid and reckless and you could have died."

Crystal explained to the man as she tended to his wounds.

" Yeah, you're right. But i don't regret doing it. And if I had to, I'd do it again."

Hal stated proudly.

" Why are you so stubborn?"

Crystal asked in disbelief.

" I don't know. Guess I just don't know how to give up."

Hal started laughing but winced immediately at the pain.

" Hahaha! I told you to stay still."

Crystal joked as she finished her stitch.

" Sorry, but I love to laugh."

Hal joked as he started laughing again.

Feeling the toxicity of his laughter Crystal began laughing as well. The two continued until they heard a sound come from behind them.

" Mommy?"

Luna, Crystal's daughter called out to her mother as she walked into the living room from her own room, Lockjaw right behind her.

" Luna!"

Crystal called out to the little girl and gestured for her to come to her.

Luna smiled and ran up to her mother and gave her a big hug.

" Luna, I want you to meet mommy's new husband. Luna this Hal. And he's going to be spending time with us from now on."

Crystal explained to the little girl.

Luna turned her head and smiled at the man.

Hal, smiled awkwardly and waved at the little girl.

" Hi, Luna. Your mom and I are... I mean well..."

Hal tried explaining to the woman nervously but failed miserably to do so. His nerves getting worse as he spotted Crystal in the back laughing at him as he fumbled over his words.

" Are you going to replace my daddy?"

Luna asked.

" What? No! No, sweetheart. I'm not. No one can replace your daddy. But I do care about your mom a lot. And I care about you as well. And if you'd let me, I'd love to get to know you Luna. Maybe I can take you and your mommy out to eat?"

Hal explained to the young girl as he held her in his arms.

Luna laughed and hugged the man.

" Okay!"

Luna yelled.

Crystal giggled and picked the small girl up off the man and placed her on the ground.

" Okay, run along sweety. Hal, needs to rest. I'll be with you in a minute. We'll get you a bath and get ready to help with rebuilding. Okay?"

Crystal explained to the young girl.

" Okay, mommy."

Luna said to the woman as she ran back to her room.

A few minutes after watching the young girl disappear into her room, Hal finally spoke up again.

" So, what do you think?"

Hal asked the woman nervously.

" I think she likes you. I know I do."

Crystal said to the man as she sat in his lap.

She gently kissed the man on his lips as her hands traced his injuries, she took her time to take in and memorize each and every single one of the would-be scars.

Not much occurred afterwards, Hal and the Starjammers helped rebuild Hala after its destruction at the hands of the imperial guard. Due to his new role as prince of the Inhumans and Prince of the Kree, Hal stayed behind on Hala to spend time with his new family. It became known to the members of the Starjammers that Lilandra had been kidnapped by the Shi'ar before their departure. Atom realizing that Vulcan wouldn't simply stop decided to expand the team's roster and started seeking out more help to bring Vulcan's reign of tyranny to an end. His first stop was the Nova Corps!!!!
