" Vulcan!"

Alex yelled as he attacked his brother.

" Hnnn! Good effort big brother, same result."

Vulcan said as he easily blocked alex's attack.

" You're dead Gabriel! Do you hear me?"

Alex declared to the man.

" Are you sure you want to do this right here and now? Think carefully Alex."

Vulcan said to the man

" Do you really want to rip this ship apart in a fight you won't survive? Or does Xavier let any moron lead an X-Man team?"

Vulcan asked taunting the man further.

" What do you want Vulcan?"

Atom stepped forward and asked the man.

" You must be my adopted brother. Relax Captain, I'm just here to talk."

Vulcan explained to the man.

" What are you getting Rachel?"

Alex asked the woman.

" Interference, in Vulcan's mind and all of the guard. I can get you an answer... But I'd have to kill the telepath first."

Rachel exclaimed.

" Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. So willing to kill. Cyclops would be proud of you two. But if you're all done fooling yourselves it seems we have a common enemy... The Scy'ar Tall."

Vulcan explained.

" These creatures are after the M'Krann crystal, which now belongs to me."

Vulcan explained to the group.

Atom listened to the man carefully however, not everyone else held the patience he did.

" You want us to help you?!We'd be better off helping the Scy'ar Tal! You're insane! You killed Banshee... You tried to kill the professor! You killed corsair, my grandfather!"

Rachel exclaimed in anger and sadness.

" And the Scy'ar tal just killed several billion people. My people."

Vulcan shot back.

" So? You seem to think we have to help you. We don't."

Atom stepped forward and said to the man, getting in his face.

" I should vaporize your ass right now for what you did. But even I have to admit that these Scy'ar Tal are dangerous."

Atom said to the man.

Vulcan sneered at the threat but quickly regressed back to business as Atom continued speaking.

" I see someone here has the brains to realize where i was going with my speech. I don't think I need to explain to you what the Scy'ar tal would do if they got their hands on the crystal again. These Scy'ar Tal are threatening my people. They're threatening all of reality."

Vulcan explained anyways.

" So, until they are defeated. We work together. Is where you're going with this."

Atom narrowed his eyes and spoke.

"Exactly!"

Vulcan sneered once again. Behind him Atom could see Cal'syee aka Deathbird grinning at the man viciously. Atom's eyes continued scanning the faces in the room and eventually came to the stop at the reluctance on Gladiator's face. Clearly the man did not approve of the situation.

" You can't be seriously considering this?!"

Alex yelled in disbelief.

" I can see you have some deciding to do. So, I'll give you twenty-four hours to decide."

Vulcan said to the man before teleporting away with his Guard.

The room turned silent as the Starjammers and the X-Men looked upon atom for any hint of a plan.

" He's desperate. Bottom Line. Vulcan must have gotten thrashed by the eldest. He was clearly hurt. And gladiator... his arm was broken. That's not something just any one can do with ease."

Vulcan explained to the group.

" Hmph, appealing to your enemies for aid, this is weakness in any culture."

Ka'ardum explained.

" The Shi'ar people are ill at ease with Vulcan's rule... If they were to learn of this their loyalty would further deteriorate."

Ka'ardum spoke clearly.

" Indeed, the Imperial guard looked upon Vulcan with Murder in their heart. Rumor has it, he killed several of them when they first met."

Raze further explained to the group.

" Vulcan wants to use the Starjammers as a weapon against the Scy'ar tal. And once they're dealt with, he'll betray us. It's not if. It's when."

Alex exclaimed.

" Better the devil, you know? You know I support you guys. Alex! Nathan! I know this guy took your father... But is that it? Our options are help a murderer, someone who's killed our family and friends... Or allow an unknown race that could very well be intending genocide to take possession of the M'krann crystal."

Lorna explained to the two men.

" If we considered negotiating, assuming they have a legitimate claim..."

Alex started but was cut off by Lilandra's outburst.

" They do not! You cannot negotiate with these blasphemers X-man. the crystal must remain in Shi'ar hands. It is our sacred right!"

Lilandra yelled out.

" Your sacred right right? The Shi'ar are conquerors. How many other cultures' holy lands do the Shi'ar occupy? How many religions have you crushed, Lilandra? What if the Scy'ar tal's gods told them it was their sacred right?"

Rachel asked the woman in anger.

" You saw what they did!! How can you be considering this?! Alex... Lorna... Captain Atom please."

Lilandra begged.

" I agree with Lilandra. We aren't letting the Scy'ar Tal get their hands on the crystal. Any chance for peace was taken off the table when the Scy'ar tal destroyed feather's edge and took billions of innocent lives. I hate Vulcan, but right now our main priority is making sure what happened earlier today doesn't happen again."

Atom explained to the group begrudgingly

" We have no reason to believe they are going to stop with just the Shi'ar. But we can't fight them alone. So, we take the devil's deal. We help Vulcan stop the Scy'ar and then I'll kill Vulcan myself. Any debates?"

Atom asked as he looked around the room at his war council. When no one spoke up Atom nodded and spoke once more.

" Good, I suggest you all get some rest. Because tomorrow we're going into the fight of our lives."

Atom said explained to the group before walking away with Rachel right behind him.
