Battle of the Atom Part 1

" Who would have thought the kid would leave? I knew the young angel didn't like it here. But I didn't think he'd run off with scott."

Rachel stated as she and Nathan lay in bed together.

" Well, the boy didn't want to stay in this timeline in the first place and after seeing young Jean use her powers to force him into submission, I can't really blame him for wanting to leave. Besides, I don't really think all that bad of Scott. I mean you can't blame him for killing Xavier, the guy was possessed by the phoenix. If anything, his whole idea of preparing for revolution isn't half bad."

Nathan explained to the woman.

Rachel sat up and glared at Nathan.

" Okay! I'm sorry. I'm sorry, please just lay back down."

Nathan said to the woman as he hugged her.

Rachel sighed and relaxed into the man's arms as he slowly lowered them both back down.

" How was meeting your young mom?"

Nathan asked the woman.

" Oh my God! it was so bad. I mean when I came back after hearing your message, I thought things were bad. But that was just awkward. I ran into her outside the showers and didn't say a word. We read each other's minds and just stared at each other in silence before we just walked away. And the worst thing is we did it again later."

Rachel explained to Nathan the harrowing experience she had in meeting the younger version of her future mother.

Her choice of words couldn't have made Nathan laugh any harder than he did.

" Oh, you think it's funny?"

Rachel asked the man who laughed at her.

" Yeah, babe. I do."

Nathan replied.

" Well, you suck and I'm not cuddling with you tonight."

Rachel said to the man as she turned over in the bed, snagging the whole blanket in the process.

" Oh, baby don't be like that. I'm only kidding."

Nathan told the woman as he wrapped her up in his arms. He then started placing kisses on her cheek repeatedly until she turned back over.

" Okay, we can cuddle."

Rachel said to the man as she threw the blanket back over his body and wrapped her arms around his chest again.

Nathan smiled and hugged her tightly

" So, did you hear about what happened with younger scott today?"

Nathan suddenly asked.

" Yeah, I did. He was killed in the field and older Scott vanished as well. Thankfully, Scott had managed to find a healer that brought him back. I heard that much."

Rachel replied.

" What do you think we should do?"

Nathan asked the woman.

" What do you mean?"

Rachel asked in confusion.

" I mean do you think it's right for us to force them to go home when they don't want to? I mean what happened was scary and yes it can happen at any time. But they should still have a say in what happens to them right?"

Nathan asked the woman in genuine concern.

" Well, Nathan I don't really know. I'm not comfortable with forcing people to do what they clearly don't want to do. Speaking from personal experience anyway. But what happened was dangerous and it could happen again. It's a conundrum. It really is."

Rachel explained to the man.

" All I can tell you; Nathan is that you should do whatever you feel is the right thing to do. And know that no matter what happens, I will stand by your side no matter what. And I will love you no matter what."

Rachel continued explaining to the man.

" Thanks love. I needed that. Argh!"

Nathan grunted as a familiar feeling rushed through his body.

" Nathan what's wrong?"

Rachel panicked as the man shot up in the bed in pain.

" They've turned on the time cube, I got hurry and stop them."

Nathan told the woman before getting out of bed. He threw on a pair of pants and ran out of the room and down to Beasts lab as fast as possible only to be surprised that the young X-Men were still here and now a group of people calling themselves the future X-Men had arrived.

" We're here to stop you from making a terrible mistake."

Future beast said to his younger counterparts and the X-Men.

" A disastrous one that will end our species."

Molly Hayes added on.

" Oh great. Who broke time again?"

Nathan asked.

" Oh, don't worry Author and readers. You'll all find out in the next chapter coming... TOMORROW~"

Future Deadpool sang to the author and his readers and the X-Men as well.
