Chapter 3 More Rewards

When he opened his eyes the next morning, he was greeted with a message from the system.

[Congratulations master, your father Ye Kai has reached the 5th stage of Qi condensation and you as the initiator has been rewarded with a 10 years of cultivation]

[Congratulations master, your mother Qi Yue has reached the peak of 4th stage of Qi condensation and you have been rewarded with one lucky draw]

"That's the kind of message I'd love to see every day." He said rubbing his hands together in excitement. "System, let's start with the lucky draw"

[On it master] the will begins to spin and when he stopped, Ye Han was shocked by what he got.

"SYSTEM!!! What the f**k is this sh*t?" Ye Han yelled in anger. He was thinking he would get something exciting as he always believed luck was on his side since he got a powerful system and two powerful magical beasts that to it too but for the first time, he didn't get anything.

"High rank heaven grade. System what are the rank for weapons and pills as well as alchemist and artifact refiners?"

The next day during breakfast, Ye Han was contemplating the probability of how his parents would react if he told them about everything excluding the system of course. He can already tell the they knew about the fact that they've become cultivators and can also feel the aura coming from his body but the question at the back if their mind was how all this became possible.

Now that they can feel the aura in their body they know very well that they are cultivators but since they never actually trained, they are wondering how and when it happened and looking at their son in front of them whose aura is more dense than their own, they can clearly tell that he's much stronger than the both of them. They want to ask how it happened but at the same time they don't want to frighten him over some small details.

Ye Han can see the look on the faces of his parents and he knew for sure that they want to ask him something but are keeping the questions to themselves. He gathered all his courage before speaking out.

"Mom Dad!" He called out to them and the look on their face change to tha of someone who's in shock and surprised at the same time. For them, for the first time he was born he finally said a word.

Even though Ye Han can talk, he had never actually said anything to his parents. He had always thought it's too soon and when the time comes he will talk to them.

"What I'm about to say may sound weird and inconveniencing but believe me that it's the truth." They both looked at each other and nod in agreement.

"What do you want to say son?" His mother asked,

"I know you'd have probably realized the changes in your body already and perhaps can also sense that I'm different too. All of this is due to a hidden master that had accepted as a disciple." He lied to them about the hidden master as he didn't know how they would react if he outright said that it was the work of the system and looking at the faces of his parents, he can see that they had doubts about it but don't want to ask too much questions and put pressure on him.

"My master appeared to me months ago and told me that I had a good talent for cultivation and he's willing to teach me if I recognize him as my master and I did and as a gift from a master to his disciple, he improved your talent together and secretly passed on a few years of cultivation to you to improve your strength. He told me that he'll watch over us from the shadows and help us increase our strength together too as long as we keep it a secret from the outside world." The part of passing down years of cultivation to his parents wasn't a lie but still didn't say he was responsible and keeping it a secret from the outside world will make them not be a target of those greedy cultivators who will do anything to achieve success.

He explained a few more things the system is capable of but didn't say it was the system that is responsible but the identity of his hidden master. His parents looked at each other both clearly having the same train of thought. They believed him about the fact that their strength suddenly increasing and their ability to cultivate is the help of a hidden person but they don't know if the so called hidden master is true or made up by their son. They didn't want to put pressure on him to reveal anything as they believed he'll tell them when the time is right if it's indeed made up.

"Well son, I'm happy you decide to tell us this as your mother and I have been wondering how all of this is possible because when we were young we wanted to cultivate too but was told that we didn't have the talent for cultivation and because of that because an outcast." His mother nodded and for Ye Han, he was feeling a bit angry about it and deep inside vow to make those who looked down on his parents pay.
