she didn't even look at her surroundings when she did, she found no one, it was very empty just like her former house. Her parents were only busy with work, they don't even find time to check up on her. she grew up with her nanny by her side. that's why she was close to her nanny than her parents, all her accolades in school were being appreciated by her nanny, now no one is here to hug her, ask about her day, she was sad, she have never felt this kind of way untill now.

Aunt Amelia " I miss you". she told the maid that was watching her I want to go to my room now, then she stood up about to leave when the senior maid told her that the senior boss wants to see her. me she asked yes you my lady bowing her head. she was going to be polite with her guest because she didn't want any trouble with her boss, then she said okay lead the way, After they reached the Mr blacks door, the maid told Ariana to go so she did. she saw the room, it was very massive, she grinned this must be the master bedroom, then she heard Mr blacks speak, come and sit beside me Ari, I want to discuss something with you. hesitating she went to Mr blacks bedside.

Then he spoke " child, u know you must be very heartbroken, your parents left you over a deal but I tell you dear it's for the better. They already had a plan to sell you off to a business mogul in another city but the difference was that you would be the old man wife, his 14th wife, I supposed.

Ariana was shocked, she didn't want to believe what she heard. I know you won't believe me Ariana but trust me it's the truth

Then she started wandering, she forgot where her room was, how could she not, the rooms were the same and didn't want to get lost so she called someone, luckily a maid was passing by so she asked "excuse pls" could you show me to my room. oh okay miss. pls come with me. then she lead the way and Ari followed quietly.

Again she was back to her room, she was feeling bored so she decided to play makeover dressing herself up, dolling herself up like she did back in her house with her nanny aunt Amelia.

She really misses, I am sure she would be asking about me by now, I think she is the only one that likes me slot in that house, she laughed.

After she got tired of playing dress up, she went downstairs, thinking she could find something interesting. (giggles) she heard giggles and bantering coming from that door so she went to peep, it was the maids they were having fun while cleaning up the kitchen so she stayed at the back of the door then a young maid just like her aga saw her.

mam do you need something she asked" no I am fine" Ariana said, oh okay the maid replied, Ari then asked can I come in, then they looked at each other, of course you can they said in unison, in probably 15 hours you will become our boss' s wife so let's give you the respect you deserve another maid said politely.

Thank you, Ari said can I help with that, no mam the senior maid will be angry that we allowed you into the kitchen let alone help us with the choice, the maid named Margaret said. No it's fine I insist and besides if she comes I will let her know that I decided to do it on my own will. is that okay by you,Ari said trying to persuade her. Margaret then looked at her other colleagues' face and when they nodded in unison then she spoke fine but

you can help her and dry the dishes she pointed to where the dishes was.

it was no big deal for since she always does it back at home with Aunt Amelia even though she tells her not to worry about it.she still insists on doing the chores.

They were actually funny, happy set of people who didn't worry about the troubles of life,they were in their own world when they were together.

she was enjoying their company. then another maid said I also want to get married one day to a good, reputable family they will love cherrish me because I'm me not because of my backgrounds same here another beautiful maid said I would like to get married to someone like our young boss, he is so handsome, he has a goddess face, disciplined. he's a small god if I would say then they started shouting, will you keep quiet, why are you talking like that in front of his soon to be wife. don't you have some shame or decency left in you, the said irritated of the way they spoke.yes the maid weren't lying he was all that but why did she have to day it in front of her. what if she tells the senior boss, then what will happen. she might say they should be thrown out of the house with immediate effect and the boss might not even bat an eyelid and do as she said. they knew the kind of immense power she carried as the soon to be wife of the junior boss holds.

it's fine don't worry.Ariana said. How could they be all worried for this, she wasn't bothered at all by these. it's fine really she tried to convince them.

besides she wants to know who she's marrying not that she asked but it was okay.

back in the Mendes mansion

the two Mr and Mrs Mendes were sitting on the couch after taking alcohol rejoicing that they got their company back. they didn't even think about Ariana' s wellbeing or how she was doing the only thing they cared about in their entire life was money, riches. they care about nothing else. then Amelia came "good day" mam,sir, pls I would like to ask about Ariana, I didn't see her with you when you walked and she always tell me anytime she wants to go out,that's why I came to ask of her.

You don't need to worry about her anymore Mrs Mendes anymore already angry that she spoilt get mood in the first place.

she was confused, what did they do to Ariana. Amelia knew these people didn't like Ariana in the first place after all they were not their child but she loved her, took care of her own. why did they have to send Ariana away. she cried in her room. she wished she could see Ariana one last time before she left, hug her kiss her. then she prayed that her husband will atleast take care of her.

she didn't deserve pain, all she desired was happiness to be with her.

then she spoke " I hope you are not missing me too much" holding her picture frame crying her eyes out.
