Allergy?

Alex, she screamed, her body was literally shaking.

Alex on the other felt like he was in pain, Ariana ran to the bed to meet him, he was coughing so badly, someone, anyone, she shouted! help.

The problem was they couldn't hear her because the room was sound proof, so no one could hear her.

.She went over to Alex, even Ariana could tell he was in pain, tell me Alex what do you need, he pointed to the drawer across the bed.

She looked at the direction of his hands, its there she was panting as she looked for words ...Is it there, she asked him, he was still pointing there.

So Ari went to the bedside and saw a pack of medicine, she brought it out, quickly took it back to him.

This right? she asked, her voice still shaking, Alex nodded his head in approval even though he was in a lot of pain.

Ari quickly removed the capsules from the pack and gave him, wait you need water, she searched the entire room looking for water, luckily there was a jar of water on the opposite side of the bed, she quickly went to the other side to bring it.

She gave him the water, she watched as he took the drugs, he handles pain so well she thought to herself.

Ari watched as he dosed off, she stayed with him at least untill he wakes up, after three in the midnight, Alex woke up to see Ari sleeping by his side, the little thing that made him stiff up was her little hands was tangled with his.

He didn't move or breathe, he didn't want to disturb her sleep, so he carefully removed his hand like he was handling a very fragile egg.

After he successfully removed his hand from hers, he was finally able to breathe.

He couldn't help but watch how she slept, but he couldn't wait for long and see that, he had work to do in the office.

So he left the bed gently went to the chair and carried her, immediately he touched her, it felt different, he went to place her on the bed but he noticed the swollen eyes, did she cry?

he asked himself, he couldn't help but be amazed.

He went to the bathroom, showered using cold water, relaxed there for a couple of minutes and went out of the bathroom.

He used the blow-dryer, but he made sure it was low so as not to wake little bunny up,

when he turned his back to check whether she's still sleeping, she was.

I guess she cried a lot to be in a deep sleep,she cried for me. that little action made him smirk.

He quickly finished drying his hair, went to the closet to pick his wears for today, within half an hour he was done.

He went back to the bed where Ari was, she was sleeping peacefully, he didn't want to disturb her by saying he was going out.

Her hair was scattered all over the bed and some were on her face too.

he tried to gently remove it without waking her up as he was about to remove the last strand of hair on her face, her eyes flew wide opened.

That sudden reaction made him stiff, he didn't remove his hand from the face because he couldn't think properly of what to do next.

Ari was the first person to speak "uhmm what are you doing" she said, trying to figure out why his hand is next to her face.

For a while,they were in that position they didn't move, just staring into each other's eyes .

Alex quickly broke off the stare, which made Ari kind of sad.

uh there was strands of hair disturbing your face so I tried to remove it, he said expressionless facing his back.

That little gesture made Ari smile, Alex was about to go when she called.

she mustered up the courage to talk to him before he goes. she went of the bed, wore her slippers and went after him.

Alex what happened to you yesterday,I could tell something was not right,I saw you were uneasy while eating the food but you still continued taking it, she said trying to figure out his reactions but he was facing his back so she couldn't decipher.

so she continued anyways...

Immediately you finished eating, you quickly went up and when I came up after that, I saw you.....tears started dropping from her eyes, I saw you in a very bad condition..

Alex just stayed still, he didn't give her an answer, he was there motionless still facing his back.

Wait....wait... Alex, she just realized something, are you allergic to the food i cooked?

what was it that you were allergic to? tell me Alex, she cried, nobody told her that Alex had allergies, yes she had allergies but it isn't food related.

I'm, I am so sorry Alex, nobody told me you were allergic. she said.

I'm.....but wait why didn't you stop eating immediately you realized it.

Huh Alex tell me, why didn't you stop, she wanted an answer from him, logically one somebody even sniff what he's allergic to, it might be fatal or deadly Eve so why didn't he stop himself.

I'm sure they have never given him that type of food before and Abi told me she's new here so I'm sure she doesn't know about his allergies yet.

Kyle and Josh thought it was all fine since he didn't start reacting, he handled the situation very well as expected from Alex but why did he do that.

She came out of her thinking and continued persisting in telling her why he still continued taking the food.

he finally told her after a while, with his cold yet soothing to hear voice, well I didn't want the food to waste, he said?

After he said those few words, he left without turning his back and he shut the door.

Ari somehow knew that was a lie, but what could she do now, so what was the real truth.

She must find out the truth, so she decided to ash the senior Butler about his allergies since he has stayed there for long, practically when Alex was still baby so she heard.

That instantly helped boost her confidence back, so she went to the bathroom, relaxed there.... actually this bathtub was far much better hers in the other room..

mostly the scent from the bathroom was magnificent and it was filled with Alex scent, after relaxing quiet well she came out looking all fresh, her eyes were not puffy like yesterday because she didn't sleep well untill she made sure Alex was sleeping.

she tied a towel, dried her hair with the blower,

She went to her closets picked something simple as always but was always looking elegant and pretty, nobody will know she was actually turning eighteen this year.

she loved the dresses on her as well, even though she didn't have the chance to bring up her clothes from the house but she still looked nice by the way.

Then she went downstairs to look for Abi, maybe she will see the Butler on the way.

This was the first time, Alex was going back to work without his father by his side,but he knew this was not the time to be emotional about it.

immediately everyone, staffs started to bow to him knowing fully well that after his father he was next in charge.

They also knew that Alex was the no nonsense type, he doesn't pity anybody, he says it as it is.

So they knew they had to buckle the.ir seatbelt, they didn't want to be fired,not that they couldn't get a job outside but because the pay and allowances they get is enough to tie their legs here in this company.

All the female workers wanted to get close to him, immediately they did that, some if them get fired, suspended.

The old staffs try to earn the new ones if what thay would face but they always tried saying that they are way more beautiful and seductive than them.

But all that is now futile, they learnt that their new boss is married and to a young girl for that matter.

How did she manage to get the great Mr Alex to fall for her, some were assuming that Alex was gay since they never saw him with any lady.

Alex went to his office, unknown to him Kyle and Josh were already there, waiting for him.

Alex saw them but was surprised though he didn't show any reaction because he always hid it well.

What are you two doing here? I thought you guys are always reluctant to come see me during work hours, he smirked
