This man standing next to her door was breath taking beautiful. His eyelashes were dark and long, his lips were very much carved into perfection , his eyes were so calm at the same time it brought this cold daring aura that will bring shivers to almost anyone.

who are you? she asked, she was supposed to be scared of his aura and all but this time she wasn't, there was something about this man that brought warmth to her heart.

What kind of feeling was this.

I'm Alex!! Alex said calmly still looking at her,

she has heard of the name before but where.

I'm Alex Black and i am sorry if I scared you. he said, he didn't want to scare this woman in front of him but why, he doesn't get about anyone's feelings so why her?

huh!!?? He was Alex Black, the maids talked about him but now she feels like she underestimated what they said. This man in front of her was everything a girl will wish to be with?

And now she will be getting married to him!

He walked to the chair that was inside her room, his footsteps could be heard because there was nothing but silence in the entire room.

I just came to inform you that we are only getting married just for formalities, I don't need anything from you, I'm going to marry you because if my parents nothing else. Alex said with no solid expression on his face.

Ariana heart ached when she heard that, even though this marriage was not supposed to happen at all, why did she feel sad about what he said.

she tried to hold her tears, Fine I'm only doing this because I was forced to she said trying to act brave and be strong.

Then he walked out if the room without looking back.

Ariana knew this was going to be a hell of a marriage.

The wedding was supposed to take place very fast because the father didn't have much time.

in the room, Ariana was massaging her temples, due to stress but from who?. Then someone knocked, Ari raised her head, she started to panic, then she said with a shaky voice thinking it's him again, what does he want; she asked herself.

it's time for the wedding ceremony, the maid said. Ari heard a female voice so she calmed down a little bit.

She made sure she was fine, she inhaled and exhaled slowly before she stepped out of the room, looking from down she saw a few people, maybe close relatives or something.

she was glad it was only few people that came because of anxiety and all besides it wasn't really a wedding, just to sign some papers.

Ariana walked into the hall, elegantly, gracefully though she was scared she didn't want to show it today.

"Ariana you can do it, just keep your chin up high", just believe in yourself" she said to her self.

Alex was already standing where the alter was, He was beautiful, his suit fitted him perfectly, Ariana couldn't do anything but gasp in awe. he was breath taking as usual.

After Ariana reached the alter they glanced at each other immediately they saw they were looking at each other's eyes, they looked away.

Are you ready to sign your marriage papers, the man in white said

They were silent at first so he said it the second time then Alex answered "yes we are ready"

"How can he say we'' , does he know what I want then, she said in her mind then she rolled her eyes.

ok Alex sign the papers first,the man in white said. so he took the pen looked at her, he was reluctant to sign it at first then he closed his eyes and remembered the sacrifice his mother made, then he opened his eyes and signed it in a jiffy.

Ariana was surprised, I thought you were reluctant to sign it before so what now? she asked in her mind

Miss Ariana, the man in white jolted her from her thought.

pls sign it now, the auspicious time is moving really fast.

So she took the pen, her hands were shaking, she didn't want to sign the papers, all these wasn't supposed to happen, then she was about to speak out when she saw Mr and Mrs Mendes, her fake parents smirking from the hall, then they waved at her

Her face became red with anger, why did they come her to worsen the situation or what, whether she realized it or not, they always spoil something special for her, she missed most of her classes because of them just to make them happy by attending meetings, modelling, becoming a public figure. All the things she never liked in the first place.

she didn't even attend college because of them well she's hoping that her inlaws will give her a chance.

she was adamant in becoming a business mogul, she didn't want to sit down at home and wait for someone to marry her off, she hopes her husband will let her fulfill her dreams.

Then she looked at Alex, signed it.

From now on you are Mrs Ariana Alex Black, the man told her.

she now belongs to someone now and there was no going back, at least she is free from her parents clutches.

I can't believe our Alex is no more a bachelor, he's now a married man, Josh said to Kyle.

ugh grow up Josh, well I never thought he will the first to get married out of the three of us, then they laughed it out.

She is very pretty, Josh said to Kyle, oh who Alex wife I didn't notice Kyle said and winked, the two of laughed at the same time.

One maid shouted "Something is wrong with Sir"

immediately Alex ran upstairs, what's wrong with him, Ariana asked herself but the last time she saw him, he was very much okay! she said looking worried, Mr black was really kind to her instead of being the wicked father in-law everyone knows of, he didn't even treat her like a slave or she was bought off of a deal, so she ran upstairs, it was difficult running in that type of dress.

Alex saw his father coughing, Alex knew it was time because his father told him about these, He knew that Ariana was front his mother clan, she was also a magical being but she hasn't realized it yet.

Remember Alex, take good care of your wife, I think your mother needs me with her.

Ariana my child come here please then Ariana moved slowly and knelt down in front of his bed, he's father. Mr black chuckled, I told you that you shouldn't get used to calling me that.

I might not be here forever or even tomorrow, I chose you for my son because I knew you were the one

like this I know I can rest in peace knowing that your wife can take good care of you.

I know my son Alex can be a bit tough one to crack but deep down I know he has a soft heart and it's only you that can manifest it so pls take good care of him, never leave him alone , then he brought fought Ariana's tiny hand and placed it on Alex hand. Always stay together!

I love you son, that was his last word then he gave up the ghost, Alex didn't even say a word, every one was there with him the maid, his friends and even his wife.

Alex left the room immediately, he didn't want to show his emotions, Ariana cried, she only spent two days with Mr black but she felt so close and drawn to him; like this was meant to happen that she belongs to this family but why, she cried bitterly.

unknown to her, her other parents heard the news that the great Mr black was finally dead, they took this as their own Victory because everyone one was trying to get their hands on the great Mr black

finally this man is Dead, Mrs Mendes said to Mr Mendes but what could have killed him and at his son's wedding. it must be a coincidence she explained to Mr Mendes. all I know that he's gone but I think his son would be the difficult one mr Mendes said to his wife.

The maid took her to her room but when she entered, it wax very different, this wasn't her room and she could scent Mr Alex perfume since it was very unique.

That explains she is now married so it was logic that she stays in her husband's room but where is he? she asked herself.

so she went out, luckily she saw the Butler passing so she asked " where is A... uhh I mean the young sir. he and his friends went to bury the old Sir, it was a tradition so his soul can rest in peace, the Butler explained to her.

oh I understand, so when will he be back? she asked, maybe in three days time
