After I heard those words I couldn't breathe again. my world just came to a halt, I didn't understand what he was saying, then he said that she left a message that i shouldn't forget about the promise I made to her.

Alex couldn't believe for the first time in his life, he saw his father crying, he couldn't hold it, then he took him to his room to rest after giving him some pain reliever.

Alex himself couldn't believe what he just heard from his father, his mother is a magical being and she died to save him, and for him to live longer he has to marry his mother' s people who is also a magical being as well.

All this information was too overwhelming for him.

His friends tried to comfort him but he wanted to be alone so they went back to their house, All they knew was after that day he was not lively, it was as if he lost his soul but still leaving, a lifeless being. who would have thought his father will say all those things to him.

Back in Alex room, he locked the door to himself and for the first time, tears dropped from his eyes, this was too much information for him to bear, he lost his mother because of him.

why mum, why didn't you save yourself, why,

he was sad, from that day he hated himself, his existence, he wasn't supposed to be here today...

Alex started to see himself in a different way, not in a good way but bad.

The next morning, his father having a slight headache but it was not that severe due to the pain reliever Alex gave him.

Then he remembered the confessions he made yesterday night, his eyes became wide, he put his hand on his head and sighed.

He jumped off the bed, looked for his slippers and he saw the Butler '"good morning sir bowing his head" morning he replied"where is Alex"..."young sir went out last night, yet to return, still bowing his head. oh I see, thanks Mr black said and the Butler left courteously.

The father waited for him and didn't go to work that day, he cancelled all his meetings to speak with him.

Before he knew it, it was already midnight but Alex hasn't returned, then Mr black were about to call the police to look for his son when the door opened, he went to the him "son are you alright" He asked worried.

Alex was in a drunken state, his eyes there were bluish, eyelash so beautiful became red due to excessive alcohol.

fa..ther he said in a stammering voice " why did you keep this a..way from me dad, his voice shaky.....he never showed his emotions to anyone,but today he needed to let it all out.

Ever since then, he became less happy for some reason, they all knew why but they couldn't do anything to make me happy, so the all endured with him.

His friends also tried to make him happy by going to the cub and partying but to no avail.

Back to the present (in the hotel),

Alright fine,let's go Kyle said, Josh was waiting for them in the lobby after Alex pulled him out of his own room too, he was enjoying himself with two beautiful women as well.

Kyle was laughing so hard because Josh face was all broody.

what's up Josh, you need to know how you look right now man. I didn't even get to spend up to 30 minutes man, he literally chased me off the bed, Josh said.

let's go now, Alex said calmly, the two said simultaneously "fine fine".

They immediately left for the office. The meeting closed early, so they had time to talk.

I need to talk to you, I will be getting married today, just wanted to let you guys know...he said calmly with literally no emotions on his face

????!!! the both were on their phone but immediately they heard it, they were all silent, the thought they didn't hear well so they continued what they were doing.....

I said I'm getting married you dweebs,.... what did you just say Alex? ...Josh asked

when oh you already told me when but how? why? all this question was supposed to answered by the same person sitting close to him Alex, his face was a puzzle that couldn't be figured out, one has to look at the soul or read what exactly is on his mind which he can't possibly do.

Alex why didn't you tell us that you are getting married earlier on why now, then they looked at each knowing the next question that follows.

who is the girl? Kyle asked, how comes we don't know her, and most specifically what's her name? Josh said raising his left eyebrow.

Do I know her but I hardly see you with women these days so who is she? Josh asked with curiosity.

I...I..I don't know her yet, he said with some kind of hesitation, his face still as expressionless as always.

what the both were laughing ridiculously, how can you say you don't know her, you are about to spend the rest of your life with her Mr Alex Black, the both mocking.

Atleast you should meet her before marrying her, get to know who she, they advised him.

I'm doing it as per my mother's wish, not because I want to. Alex said with his hand on his chin like he had no care in the world.

The two formed an 'O' sound realizing that he had no choice. Even if they tried to convince him not to do that, he wouldn't agree with them.

It was his mother's last wish afterall. They sighed.

okay that's it. Josh stood up, you are going to visit her today atleast before you get married to her, at least do this for pls...pls ..... pretty pls. Josh said with his hands clamped together knowing he was a tough one to convince. Kyle joined too so he could at least see his soon to be wife before they get married. fine I will go! Alex said only because you guys look like clowns right now, they grinned from ear to ear.

okay let's finish our...No they both shouted.

Back in the mansion, Ariana just woke up from her beauty sleep "can you imagine, I want to get married but I don't even know the person, well I know he's Mr black son but who is he exactly, what does he look like, all these thoughts kept running through her mind.

Maybe he didn't agree to this marriage of he could stop it,she sighed inwardly.

Then a maid knocked on the door, who is it? she asked politely, it's the house maid.oh okay come in Ariana said politely.... she opened the door, still bowing her head, Sir wanted you to wear these for the marriage ceremony.

She actually needed the clothes because she didn't bring any when coming here so it was no big deal for her besides they were already fitted clothes in her new closet but the clothes with the maid was her taste so she went for it.

Then the maid called few other maids to help her dress for tonight's ceremony.

I can dress up myself, Ari said protesting.

yes madam but...Sir made the order you dress me up right? Ariana said.

Yes mam. ok go ahead, then they took her to the bathroom, washed her up with some beautiful lavender soap, the scent was so lovely, inviting too. she liked it.

After they were done giving her a bath, they went straight to the dressing room to dry her up, they rubbed her skin with some almond oil

leaving it all shiny, her skin was already naturally beautiful, there was no need for all these, it was her marriage ceremony after all she had to look her best best.

After they were done putting the jewelry, the clothes she looked extra stunning, they had to comment her. she loved matured and lovely.

No one will know she is not an adult yet, then the maids left waiting for Mr black to give out another order.

A knock was heard the door, she taught it was one of the maids so she said come in!
