Chapter 32

The next day was fantastic for Claire . first she woke up with Kelvin asking her about her health and suggesting to have breakfast together. his so - called reasons was to make sure she eats properly and take enough fruits.

    Claire did not mind his reasons, she was very delighted as she sat across him in the dinning room. she randomly chatted with him has they had their breakfast and Kelvin himself did not mind as he responded back to her in the same rate , smiling and laughing at intervals. The maids weren't spared as they marveled . it was a rear sight for them to see their Master smiling and talking to someone for this long without his cold aura blasting out that would send someone flying for eternity.

    Azra was very happy for her Mistress as she saw the pure happiness dancing on her face . though she didn't the concept of their marriage, she at least know that Kelvin that doesn't regard her in any way . So this little conversation between both of them as normal couples this morning already made her day bright.

   Kelvin on the other hand was surprised with the way she talked that he began to wonder if she was ever this lively. but nevertheless, he contributed  accurately to the discussion which had him surprised.

    After having their breakfast, he dropped her off at the company and left for the meeting he needs to attend after telling her that she would see him very soon at the company. Claire was giggling like a high school girl who later got the attention of her crush as she strode happily towards her office.

    Later in the day , she received a call from Linda's elder and only brother Micheal, about the date they had the next day's evening. to Claire she didn't want to go but due to the fact that he had been pursuing her way back when she was still in college. although that time it was not too serious but now, she decided to honor his invitation and also to taste life there as she had not experienced what it feels like to go out on a date . After getting some advices from her friend few days back , she decided to try going out with others who seek for her attention . Moreover Kelvin was still seeing his girlfriend. So she accepted his proposal for going out .

    Claire pinged him back agreeing to the time and place he set for the date and send her a smiley emoji as a thanks.

   Every now and then Claire constantly check her phone to see if there was any new notification . few minutes before she closes for the day , Claire received a notification from M & J Graphics Studio , to start work from the following week Monday.    she rounded up her work for that day with happiness and went home.

     The following evening, Claire quickly ended her work and went home to get prepared for her date . she showered and changed into the dress her maid Azra picked for her .

     "Ma'am ," Azra swallowed as she fidgeted on what she wanted to say . she was glad with the kind of person her Mistress was but she dare not cross her line . " Ma'am ....would ... wouldn't Master be angry with you for going out ?" she whispered as she faced down . Claire paused her hand on applying the make - up on her face as she  turned surprised from the mirror to her maid .   what gave her the inspiration that she was going out on a date ?, Claire asked herself.

     " Uhm ... actually he wouldn't be ."  yes he wouldn't be , she said the rest in her mind .

    Her maid nodded her head as she smiled nervously at her ," let me help you with your hand bag to the car ." she picked up the bag and left the room .

    Claire tilt her head and shrugged. she looked at her appearance in the mirror once more before heading out of the room .

      Anyone who saw Claire coming out would immediately think of a certain goddess who just ascended from the heavens to the human realm. she looked gorgeous, yet innocent and wild in her dark purple evening flowing gown . the up part was made to fit her bossom perfectly, then from the waist down to the feet  ran in flowing stitches. little fine stones were also embroidered on the upper part of the dress and below were tiny hanging golden pearls which are not too visible but enough to generate sparkles .the hand of the dress was left to hang on her shoulders making it an off shoulders gown . coming to the back side the dress , the seamstress pulled the strings on the waist together leaving a tail which was made to sweep across the floor .

      And Claire decided to compliment the dress with a matching gold earrings and necklace. she let her hair down , clipping it with an hair pin by the side . as soon as she came down from her car and entered the side place , all eyes were on her . it was as if time stopped . Carole's brother Micheal, who was waiting for her stood up with wide eyes as he stared at the approaching girl .

   That dress was the dress he gifted her 3 years ago on her birthday. he had almost forgotten about it since he had not seen her put it on .But wait , he didn't know she would look this alluring in the dress . he was glad within himself that her marriage was a deal that would end in few months .

    Actually the reason why Claire have not worn the dress for the first time was because she doesn't go out and Moreover, she wouldn't put on a dress like that to work . she decided to wear it today as an appreciation to him for gifting her an expensive dress little did she know that the dress would spark up a new and different story.
