Chapter 422: Sudden Illness_1

Su Qiqi looked towards the sound, but on the other side, there was nothing but pitch darkness from which she could not make out anybody.

However, the intermittent voices confirmed to her that there were people there, so she walked towards the darkness.

As she approached, a shadow unexpectedly darted out causing Su Qiqi, whose pupils momentarily dilated, to instinctively close her eyes.

When the anticipated pain didn't come, Su Qiqi opened her eyes again to see Jin Muchen standing in front of her, with Chen Shujuan behind him.

Chen Shujuan was clawing in the air, yelling, "Who are you? Who are you? This is my house! This is my daughter's house!"

"Mom?"

Stunned, Su Qiqi called out after a moment. She noticed that Chen Shujuan was behaving strangely and she had not even put on any shoes.

The floral blouse she wore had several rips, her hair was a mess piled on her head, and her pants were soiled with mud.

Realizing something was wrong, Su Qiqi knitted her brows.
